“I can’t believe I collapsed like that, I know I was pretty weak for going a few days without blood, but I wasn't expecting me to pass out after beating that thing but more so, I wasn't expecting what happened next”

 

Kuro slowly starts opening his eyes, his vision was a little blurred, cold small hands can be felt on his side. The girl he saved was changing his bandages. 

 

Kuro’s eyes widen as he quickly sits up “where am i?” he said looking around the room confused

 

Akira took a step back by Kuro’s sudden movement “Y-your at our house” She said quietly

 

“Oh you're that kid i helped” He said reaching for his head, but doing so he noticed his hand was chained, he then quickly looked at Akira “hey kid what the hell is going on?” he growled

 

Akira took another step back shaking a little “M-my daddy did it” She said looking at him with tears in her eyes

 

“Who the hell is that!” He growled looking at Akira “let me go!” he shouted pulling on the chain

 

“I-I'm sorry but i cant” She said as her voices shanked, she then took off running out of the room

“Hey wait! Don't just leave me here!” Kuro shouted as Akira leaves the room, he then looked at the chain and sighs “damn it, why does this keep happening to me?” He said sounding annoyed

 

“Wait what's this?” he said looking down at his side noticing the bandages “Oh yeah i got hurt...great now i feel like shit “ he sighed as he looked towards the door

 

“Why was she treating my wounds, humans are funny creatures” he said to himself as he heard footsteps coming towards him

 

Ryuji walks into the room and looks at Kuro “she it's true you're finally awake” he said as Akira hid behind his legs

 

“Your shitting me right? This is your house? Your the one who's been treating my wounds?” Kuro said looking at Ryuji with an annoyed expression

 

“This is one of my houses, I would say make yourself at home but “he looked at the chains on Kuro’s arms “i can't exactly trust you”

 

“HA HA Very funny, Why did you take me here and what do you want? “Kuro said with an annoyed expression but also growing slightly

 

“For starters...Thank you for saving my daughter.. “Ryuji said as he bows his head towards Kuro

 

Kuro looked at Ryuji with a shocked expression as he does know how to react “w-what the hell are you doing?” he said confused by Ryuji’s actions

 

Ryuji smiled at Kuro and laughed a little “I’m thanking you, i mean you did save my daughter after all” he said as he looks down at Akira

 

Kuro looks at Akira and sighs “she looks nothing like you” he said before looking away

 

Akira comes out from hiding and looks at Kuro “d-daddy says i look more like my mommy ”she said softly “but mommy is asleep in the sky” she added but her voice sounded a little sad

 

“Asleep in the sky?” Kuro said sounding confused for a moment before it hit him “Oh..I see” his expression turned soft

 

Ryuji looks at Akira then at Kuro “my wife passed away three years ago” he looked down at Akira “she's the only thing i have left, so i cant thank you enough for what you did” he said his voice filled with thanks

 

Kuro’s eye twitches as he looks back at Ryuji annoyed “ Shut up thanking me already, its annoying” he sighed

 

“Akira can you leave me and Kuro alone? I need to talk to him” he spoke softly towards Akira

 

“O-ok Daddy” she said with a smile, she then looks at Kuro “bye bye big bro” she left the room smiling

 

“Big Bro?” Kuro said softly his voice filled with pain as he remembered something from his past

 

9 Years ago

 

 “Come on big bro, why do we need to keep training?” Kuro said looking at Kenzo

 

“First off Hiroki asked me to and second I'm not your big brother “ he looked at Kuro annoyed “don't call me big bro” he said with an annoyed tone 

 

Kuro looked down hearing his words “but you guys are kind of like my big brothers so why can't I call you big bro?” he asked as he looked back up at Kenzo

 

Kenzo kicks Kuro down and sighs “Because we are not a family, we don't have a bond, we are only here for one goal!” he growled towards Kuro “and that's making Humans suffer” he said smirking

Present day

 

“Kuro? Hello? You there?” Ryuji waves his hand in front of Kuro face

 

Kuro shook his head and looked at Ryuji “wait did you say something?” he asked

 

“I was trying to ask, why did you save my daughter? “He said softly wanting to know the truth

 

Kuro face looked confused as he looks at Ryuji “honestly i don't know, my body just moves on its own” He replied 

 

“I see, how are your wounds anyway?” Ryuji asked as he looks at the bandages on Kuro’s chest

 

Kuro looks down at his chest and sigh “Honestly I'm healing slowly, I need blood” he said as he looks back up at Ryuji

 

“Blood” Ryuji looked at Kuro confused for a moment “oh I forgot you're a vampire right?” he asked

 

Kuro sighs “yes i am, my wounds heal slowly unless i drink blood, and I'm also my strongest just after drinking it” Kuro said as he shook his head “not like i can get any anyway” he sighed as he looks down

 

Ryuji thinks for a moment then sighs “don't let me regret this” Ryuji pulls up his sleeve and offer’s kuro his arm but takes it back “wait if you bite me won't i turn?” he asked concerned 

 

Kuro looks at Ryuji and laughs a little “don't be stupid, you only turn if you drunk my blood” he said looking at him

 

“Vampires are pretty unknown to us, honestly we through they died out 200 years ago, so we have very little knowledge when it comes to them” Ryuji said as he offers Kuro his arm again

 

Kuro looks at Ryuji arm and goes to bite it but for some reason he hesitates he then looks at Ryuji with a worried look

 

“Go ahead, just don't drink too much..” Ryuji said with a soft voice “consider it a thanks for saving my daughter” he said smiling

 

“ Fine! Just don't blame me if it hurts!” Kuro said as his eyes turn a blood red, he opens his mouth slowly as his fangs grow he then bites down into Ryuji arms as his fangs pieces his arm

 

Ryuji groans a little as he feels Kuro fangs sink into his skin “h-hey easy now” He said as he watches Kuro drink his blood

 

After a few moment of drinking Ryuji’s blood Kuro slowly opens is mouth removing his fangs from Ryuji’s arm, Kuro then sits up as he licks the blood dripping on his cheek, he gets a sudden power surge as his wounds heal rapidly “thank you for the meal” he said smirking

 

Ryuji looks at his arm for a moment before picking up a bandage “I'm surprised you didn't drink me dry” he said as he begun to bandage his arm

 

“Well that's beca-” Kuro goes quiet as something comes over him “the village is about to be attacked” he said as he looks at Ryuji with a serious look

 

Ryuji finished bandaging his arm “what do you mean we are under att-” before he could finish talking the ground starts to shake 

 

A guard runs into the room panting “S-sir we under attack!” his voice was panicked

 

Akira quickly run into the room and hugs Ryuji “D-daddy I'm scared” she said while crying

 

Ryuji patted her head then kneeled down to her “You're gonna have to be brave ok? Just stay with Kuro “he looks at kuro 

 

Akira leaves go of Ryuji and looks at Kuro “o-ok daddy”

 

Ryuji looks at Kuro “I'm trusting you with her, don't make me regret it” He quickly runs out of the room

 

“Hey wait!” Kuro shouted but it was to late Ryuji left the room “like I can do much like this” he said moving his arm that was chained

 

Akira looks up at Kuro with tears in her eyes “big bro Kuro I'm scared” you could hear the fear in her voice

“Look i'm not” he goes quiet for a moment “it's going to be fine, you dad’s pretty strong "he said looking at Akira

 

Outside of the house

 

A man slowly walking towards a guard as he was crawling away, the man suddenly pulls sets on the guards leg

 

The guard screams in pain as he feels his leg being crushed “please don't kil-” the guard was interrupted

 

“You dare beg for your life?” the man said as he looked at the guard, he then swipes his hand down about to end the man's life but suddenly someone grabs his arm stopping it

 

Ryuji grabs the man's arm before he could strike down the guard “Now that isn't nice is it?” he said looking at the man angry

 

“Another human who thinks there strong enough to take me on” the man said as he looks at Ryuji filled with bloodlust 

 

Ryuji wasn't faced by the mans bloodlust as he tightens his grip on the mans wrist “I know I can, you see there people here I wanna protect” he said sounding angry

 

He man can feel his wrist cracking, he then jump back away from Ryuji “you might just give me an entertaining fight” He smirks at Ryuji

 

“Thanks but i think we should end this quickly!” he said placing his hand on the ground as he does the ground shakes

 

“Interesting you can use magic” the man said as he jumps back again but there he was standing the ground cracks then suddenly erupts in flames

 

The man charges at Ryuji and goes to grabs him, as he does Ryuji jumps back a little “you got to try better tha-” Ryuji suddenly feels a sharp pain in his shoulder

 

The man smiles as a long sharp mental bar comes out of his sleeve and hits Ryuji in the shoulder 

Ryuji quickly grabs the metal in his shoulder as the man was trying to push it deeper into him “my reaction times are slower” he said but then remembered that Kuro drunk some of his blood

 

Ryuji then opens his left hand as his right was holding the metal, as he does purple sparks of electricity come from his left hand, he then swings it at the man

 

The metal in Ryuji shoulder suddenly goes back into the man's sleeve as he them jumps back avoiding Ryuji’s attack

 

Ryuji jumps back also trying to get some distance “i must be feeling weak due to him drinking my blood” his vision gets blurry as he holds his shoulder 

 

“Don't tell me that's all you got” The man laughs at Ryuji taunting him

 

“This was a bad time to send the other hunter’s home” Ryuji said to himself as his hand sparked purple lighting again” looks like I need to up my game!” he suddenly leaps off the ground, as he does the ground where he was standing break and before he knows it he was in front of the man

 

The man moves his head avoiding Ryuji’s attack, but then Ryuji quickly turns, his other hand was on fire and about to hit him in the face

 

 “WEAK” The man shouted as his eyes glow a deep orange but then some unseen force sends Ryuji flying back and destroying the area around him

 

As Ryuji lands he slides across the floor and looks at the man “This is going to be tougher than i thought” he pointed his hand at the man as the sparks of purple lighting start to take from of a fox

 

The man smirks at Ryuji as he clicks his fingers, as he does a second demon lands next to Ryuji

 

“Wait there more tha-”before he could finish speaking he gets hit flying into a building

 

Ryuji stands back up slowly, his head was bleeding as he crashed through a building, he coughs a little as he looks at the two demons “this isn't good”

The first demon charges at Ryuji with lightning speed, as the demon punches Ryuji he blocks it but as he does he can feel his arm behind crushed by the impact, but then suddenly the force overpowers him and send him through another wall

 

Ryuji slides across the floor but then using his arm pushes himself into the air “D-damn it!” he looks around but only notices one demon “where is the other one?”

 

The man smirks as he was in the air above Ryuji “DIE FILTHY HUMAN!” he point his arm at Ryuji and as he does a long metal rod pieces his chest, The man laugh but then his laugh stops as Ryuji turns into smoke

 

“A clone!” The man shouted “then where is the real on-” Before he could finish speaking Ryuji appeared in the air above him

 

Ryuji spins in the air and drops his heel onto the mans back sending him crashing into the ground, Ryuji then lands not far from the man

The man slowly stands up and brushes himself down, the demon then walks to the man and looks at Ryuji as he does it starts to transform into something that looks like a hell hound

 

Ryuji vision gets blurred as he was weak from feeding Kuro and crashing into the building, his head was bleeding and his arm was broken “This can't be happening” he breathes heavily

 

Inside the house

 

Kuro looks at Akira “it sounds like he's in trouble” he said to himself

 

Akira looks at Kuro “do you think Daddy is fine?” he asked shaking

 

Kuro nodded “yeah i know he's fine, i can hear them” he lied so he wouldn't scare her

 

Akira looks at Kuro “wait you can hear them big bro” she was still scared but surprised 

 

Kuro sighed “I have good hearing, plus it's hard to explain but i can kind of see them” he said looking at Akira

 

Akira looks at Kuro “i don't really understand but that's amazing big bro you're so cool”

 

Kuro laughs a little “Thanks I guess, but why are you not scared of me?” 

 

Akira smiles at Kuro softly “why would i be scared, you did save me” she said as she was trying to put on a brave front

 

Kuro eyes widen as he suddenly realises that not all humans are like what he was told

 

Akira tilts her head while looking at Kuro “B-big bro are you ok?” she asked softly

 

Kuro shook his head “yeah everything's fine…” he goes back to listening to the fight

 

Outside the house

 

The demon dog starts to charge at Ryuji

 

Ryuji avoided the demon dog by jumping off it head but as he does the man uses some unseen forces to pull Ryuji into him, Ryuji hand spark rapidly as a black rob shots from the man's sleeve towards Ryuji

 

Ryuji tries to avoid the attack but notices he can't move, just as the rod was about to him him purple lighting struck Ryuji then hits the ground nearby

 

The man slides back a little as the lighting hits, he then looks up as the smoke cleared “Oh? He teleported?” he laughed as he looked towards there the the second lighting struck

 

Ryuji pushes some stones off him as he pants heavily “T-that was too closes” he starts feeling really weak as that magic took a lot out of him

 

The man laughed as he starts walking towards Ryuji “you think that would be enough to kill me?”

Ryuji looked at the man as he tries to stand but soon after falls to his knees “t-this is bad” he said as he fills with fear

 

Inside the house

 

Kuro’s eyes widen as he looks at Akira “Akira I need you to take the chains off me right now!” he shouted

 

Akira jumped but Kuro reaction “I-I cant daddy has the only key”

 

Kuro can hear Ryuji get throwing backwards as the man walks towards him, he can also hear the man laugh

 

Kuro eyes start to glow red “Damn it” he growls as he remembers everything Ryuji said and done for him, he then grabs his chained up arm

 

Akari looks at Kuro scared “w-what are you do-” Her eyes fill with fear as she watches Kuro rips off his own arm as soon as he does he vanishes

 

Outside the house

 

The man laughs at Ryuji who was breathing heavily, he then looks at the demon dog “kill him” he said with a smirk

 

The demon dog charges at Ryuji with its mouth open, ready to kill

 

Ryuji looks defeated “is this my end? I'm sorry Akira.. Kuro”

 

As the demon dog was about to attack Ryuji, shadows erupt from the ground entangling itself with the demon, the shadows starts to take form a demonic looking wolf’s as the starts ripping into the demon dog

 

The man stopped in his tracks as he watches the demon dog in horror, as it got ripped apart, a sudden wave of bloodlust fills the area that overpowers the demons bloodlust

 

Kuro was slowly walking towards the man, his eyes bright red, blood drips from where his arm was “Don't you dare hurt him!” he ground as his voice sounded cold and demonic 

 

Ryuji weakly looks up at Kuro, his eyes filled with shock “i-is that you Kuro” he questioned himself

 

The man slowly turned to Kuro as he started to find it hard to breath due to his bloodlust, his face filled with fear “w-what are you”

 

Kuro shadow starts to engulf him, as a shadow of darkness covers the area, Kuro bloodlust could almost be seen, the air grew heavy and the wind grew hot. 

 

Kuro stops walking and looks at the man, his appearance has changed completely, all that stood was a shadow and two bright red eyes “i am your death!” Kuro said

 

Kuro pointed his hard towards the man, as he does the blood that dripped from him starts to spiral around him, he then closes his hand as he does the spiral of blood flies towards the man

 

The man goes to run but then he suddenly falls and hits the ground, his eyes widen as he looks towards his legs that are no longer there, his face fills with fear

 

A shadow starts to grow behind Kuro as he walks towards the man, the shadow then changes into the face of demonic wolf before darting towards the man

 

The shadow starts to wrap itself around the man like a snake would do to its prey, the man starts screaming out in pain as it starts crushing its body, the shadow then bites down into the mans chest and back as it drags him to Kuro

 

Kuro grabs the man by the back and lifts him into the air like it was nothing, he then begun to laugh

 

As the man looked at Kuro all that stood was a shadow and red eyes looking back

 

”Are you afraid?” Kuro said sounding demonic but without hesitation he digs his claws into the man's neck crushes the man's throat

 

Tears fall down the man’s cheek as no sound could escape his mouth, he knew he was going to die right here and right now

 

Out of the shadow that engulf Kuro, his mouth and fangs erupted biting down on the man, crushing his bones and drinking him dry

 

Ryuji slowly starts to walk towards Kuro shaking a little “I-is that really you Kuro?”

 

Kuro's arm rapidly growls back as he drinks the man dry. The shadow that engulfed him vanishes as Kuro slowly looked at Ryuji “its good to see your al-”Kuro slowly starts to fall over as his body give in

 

Ryuji quickly catches Kuro “w-whoa there!” he looks at him

 

Kuro laughed weakly as he looks at Ryuji who was holding him up “s-sorry i don't use my powers often to it take a toll on me”

 

Ryuji sighs softly as he starts to carry Kuro “shh its fine, just rest, i bet Akari is worried about us”

 

Kuro slowly falls asleep
