Sounds of an engine, strange movement never felt before as a bounce woke Kuro up, swift movements as the car swiftly drives to a new destination

 

Kuro slowly opens his eyes “w-where am I” he said slowly sitting up but suddenly realising he's in a car “wait what's going on?” he said in a panic as he realises Ryuji was sitting opposite to him

 

Ryuji was reading a book, his eyes suddenly look up from the pages as he hears Kuro’s voice “Oh you're finally awake” he said putting his book down

 

Kuro looks around the car wondering what's happening as he does he noticed Akira asleep next to him, he then looks back at Ryuji “where am we” he asked sounding confused

 

“Wait?” Kuro suddenly paused as he looks at his arms and notice there isn't any chains on him whatsoever

 

Ryuji smiled softly as he looked back at his book, he then turns the page “I see no reason to chain you up, I mean you did save me after all” he said with a soft tone in his voice

 

“I don't understands, what's going on” Kuro asked as he was still confused

 

Ryuji glanced at Kuro in the corner of his eyes “your in a car, we heading back to my village, I was only at the other one for a meeting” he said as he looked back at his book

 

Kuro grew more confused “so wait...you decided to take me with you” he asked tilting his head slight 

 

“Yes, do you have an issue with that?” Ryuji replied looking towards Kuro

 

“Yes I mean no...I don't understand...why?” Kuro face filled with even more confusion

 

Ryuji closes his book and sighs as he looked at Kuro “you saved my daughter and not only that you saved me plus not like you have anywhere to go...do you?” he said smiling

 

Kuro looked away and sigh “your not wrong...the people through was my family abandoned me”

 

Ryuji looked at Kuro with a soft expression “that might be true but you also gained a new one”

 

Kuro eyes dart towards Ryuji with a shocked expression “w-what do you mean I gained a new one”

 

Ryuji smiled softly at Kuro “its like I said, Kuro I want you to join my family, I know Akira would be happy” 

 

Kuro's face fills with sadness “but I'm a monster, why would you want me to be part of your family?” 

 

Ryuji shook his head “Kuro i can see the light in you” he said as he looked towards Akira “plus if you was truly a monster, she wouldn't be like this with you”

 

Kuro looks down at a sleeping Akira but then his face fills with shock as he sees her holding Kuro’s Shirt “Akira…” Kuro spoke softly

 

Ryuji looked towards Kuro with a serious face “of course there will be rules” he said but then his face filled with shock as he looked at Kuro “K-Kuro?” he said concerned 

 

Tears slowly starts to run down Kuro’s cheeks as he looked towards Ryuji “i-i dont understands”

 

Tears continue to run down his cheeks as he grabs at his chest “I don't understands what i'm feeling, my chest hurts so much and i can't stop myself from crying” as he spoke you could hear the pain in his voice

 

Ryuji looks at Kuro softly “Kuro what you are feeling isn't bad” he said as he thinks to himself “he has a lot to learn when it comes to his emotion

 

Kuro looks at Ryuji, worried still holding his chest “It hurts, i don't know what to do?” 

 

Ryuji slowly moves to Kuro and brings him into a hug “You be fine...your not use to this emotion yet” he said softly as he holds Kuro in a hug

 

Kuro is shocked by Ryuji action but he doesn't move “W-what is it I'm feeling” he said still crying

 

Ryuji patted Kuro’s back “it's the feeling of being wanted...and willing to be loved”

 

Ryuji backs away from Kuro and sits back down everything goes quiet soon after for almost an hour “looks like we here” he said looking at Kuro

 

Kuro looks out the window and sees a huge gate as the car comes to a stop “where are we” he said looking back at Ryuji

 

Ryuji pokes Akira cheek softly “wake up sleepy head” he said softly then looks at Kuro “we are home” he smiled

 

Akira slowly wakes up as Ryuji leaves the car, she follows after grabbing Ryuji’s hand

 

Ryuji looks back at the car as he sees Kuro leave it “come on, this is your home now as well”

 

Kuro follows walks towards Ryuji and looks at him “you must be a pretty big shot if you have a place like this”

 

Ryuji laughed as he walks towards the gate, as he does a girl dressed in a maid outfit greets them, she looked roughly the same age as Kuro, she had long red hair, a soft looking expression

 

The maid bowed towards them “welcome home Master, how was your trip?” she said smiling, her eyes suddenly looked at Kuro “who's that master?

 

Kuro looks away as he sees her look at him but then suddenly he feels a hand on his head 

 

“Akio, This is Kuro and from this day on, he's my son”  Ryuji said with a smile 

 

“Ehh? I didn't agree to be your son!” he shouted as he moves Ryuji hand from his head

 

Ryuji laughs “Kuro did you forget, i already said your part of this family”

 

Akira tugs at Kuro’s shirt and smiles “Big bro..”

 

Kuro grew flustered then quickly looks away “Fine” he shouted “just don't expect me to call you dad or father or anything like that” he mumbled 

 

Ryuji smiles and looks at Kuro “come on don't be like that, at least call me papa!” he said smirking 

 

Kuro gets embarrassed and hits Ryuji on the head “like hell I will!” he shouted before moving away from the group

 

Ryuji sighs a little as he rubs his head where Kuro hit, he then feels a tug at his shirt, he then looks down to see Akira “what is it Akira?” he said softly

 

Akira looks up at Ryuji sadly “daddy does big bro hate you?”

 

Ryuji softly pats her head “I don't think so, he's just not use to this yet” he spoke softly as he looks towards Kuro

 

Akio looks at Kuro then Ryuji “sir if I can ask what is his deal?”

 

Ryuji looks at Akio “I will fill you in later, for now i would like you to get a room ready for him” he asked then looks towards Kuro “come on Kuro, I will show you around the house” he shouted

 

“Fine!” Kuro said as he walked back towards the group but then he suddenly stops and holds his head

 

Ryuji noticed Kuro holding his head “is everything alright?” he asked with concern in his voice

 

Kuro looks up at Ryuji, his eyes glow red as he sighed “I'm hungry” 

 

Akio quickly dart in front of Ryuji and Akira, he hands start to glow a deep red “stay behind me he's dan-” Ryuji hits Akio on the head softly

 

Akio's hands stop glowing as she looks at Ryuji” Ryuji sir?” she was confused by his actions 

 

Ryuji looked a little annoyed. “Akio like I said I explained later” he then looks at Kuro “Do you think you can hold out for a while?”

 

Kuro looks away clenching his fist as he was ashamed of himself “I guess I can...im sorry i'm li-” 

 

Ryuji walks over to Kuro and hits him on the head “never be ashamed of who or what you are, its how you act and treat others that make the difference” he said smiling at Kuro

 

“Ryuji…” Kuro looks at him, his face filled with surprise as he is taken back by his words

Akira walks over to them and take Kuro’s and Ryuji’s hands “Come on, let's go show Kuro around” she said pulling them away

 

Kuro looks at Akira as he is being pulled “o-ok ok I'm coming!” he said laughing a little

 

Akira and Ryuji show Kuro around some of the house, about an hour later Ryuji left to head back to his office, he sits down in his chair and sighs

 

Ryuji looks through some paperwork and rubs his head “I hate paperwork!”

 

Ryuji’s eyes look up towards the door as he hears someone knocking “you may enter”

 

Akio opens the door and enters the room as he places some tea on Ryuji’s desk” I did what you asked, I set him up a room...but Ryuji sir...what is he?” She asked him

 

Ryuji looks at Akio and sighs “i understand your worried but from this point on her my son, and you will treat him as such” he points to a chair “Take a seat and i will explain”

 

Akio sits down as Ryuji explained everything that's happened over the last few days about how Kuro saved Akria then himself he left the part out when Kuro attacked that village

 

Ryuji sighs soft and leans back in his chair “So yeah he's a vampire, and that about explains everything”

 

Akio looks worried “I can understand why you're doing this but i can't trust hi-” The door suddenly flies open as Kuro rushing in holding a crying Akira

 

Ryuji stands up quickly and rushes to them “Akira?! What happened?” he looks at Akira who's leg was bleeding a little

 

Kuro was looking at Ryuji with an urge to kill but he was fighting it back “T-take her quickly!” he shouted passing Akira to Ryuji

 

Akio starts to dash towards Kuro, his hands glowing a deep red “what the hell did you do!”

 

Kuro falls to his knees panting and struggling to fight back his bloodlust “the smell of blood is killing me” he growls

 

Akio stops and looks down at Kuro “what the hell are you talking about!” he shouted aggressively

 

Ryuji shouted at Akio “that's enough!” He then looked at Akira and spoke softly” What happened Akira?” he looked worried

 

Akira wipes her tears “B-big bro didn't do anything wrong, i was showing him the out house when something fell off the wall, big bro stopped it hitting me but some of it hit my leg” she said still crying

 

Kuro stands up slowly “i-i'm sorry” he goes to run out of the room by Ryuji stopped him by grabbing his arm, as he grabs Kuro arm he rams his own arm into Kuro’s mouth, Kuro suddenly bites down on it

 

Ryuji flinches as Kuro bites down on his arm, he then looks at Akio “Akio please deal with Akira, I got Kuro” he said as he looks back at Kuro

 

Kuro looks back at Ryuji with tears in his eyes as he was feeding on Ryuji, Kuro eyes was filled with hate and regret

 

Akio looks at Kuro and feels bad as she sees him crying she then picks Akira up “ come on let get you sorted” she leaves the room with Akira feeling bad that she almost attacked Kuro

 

Akira looks at Akio sadly “ w-why was big bro crying ”she asked

 

Akio shook her head “i don't know, but I'm sure he be fine” she said to comfort Akira but she was think “he must be hurting on the inside” they headed to the medical room

 

Kuro slowly lift’s his mouth from Ryuji’s arm as his blood dripped down Kuro’s lips, Kuro then wipes his eyes and looks away “ i'm sorry” he said his voice filled with regret 

 

Ryuji sighed as he feels a little weak, he then looks at Kuro “Kuro it’s fine, i told you before and i say it again, dont hate what you are” he said with a serious tone

 

“But I do! I hurt you! All I can do is hurt people! “Kuro said looking down “you took me in, you said I'm part of your family...but I hurt you!” Kuro shouted his voice filled with regret and hate at what he his

 

Ryuji slowly embraces Kuro “Kuro...Your my son now...and no matter what happens that won't change” he said holding Kuro in a hug

 

Kuro hugs Ryuji back tightly as he begins to cry “im sorry im a monster”

 

Ryuji holds Kuro as he cries “your not a monster, you think you are because of how you was raised” he said softly

 

Kuro moves back a little, his eyes filled with tears and regret, he looked down at his hands “I killed people...i hurt so many people...how can you say im not a monster”

 

Ryuji looks at Kuro with a hurt expression “your not a monster, those who raised you and showed you nothing but hate are to blame”

 

Kuro grows a little as he looks at Ryuji “ How! How can you still accept me knowing what i am! How can you be willing to allow a monster like me into your family!” He shouted

 

Ryuji softly looks at Kuro “ because when i look at you i see a boy that's lost and confused in a world he's never truly understood, i see a boy that filed with regret at what he's done, i see a boy who's scared to hurt those close to him”

 

Kuro looks up at Ryuji and says nothing

 

Ryuji sighs “Kuro a monster wouldn't have saved my daughter or rip his own arm off to save me, i see the light in you”

 

Kuro looks down and wipes his tears “I'm scared...im scared I will hurt someone again because of what I am”

 

Ryuji smiles softly “that’s good, its shows you don't want to hurt anyone anymore...Kuro i said it before. Your my son...your not alone anymore”

 

Kuro’s eyes widen as it hits him….

 

“That's when it hit me...I was alone...even when i was with the others  like me...i was still alone...but this man...my father...accepted me...even after knowing what i am, he still chose to accept me and show me what love is”

 

“A few months passed, i didn't leave the mansion, i was too scared too, i was learning to control my powers, but the only difference is now? I have a sister that loves me for who i am….a friend a could talk too, she didn't trust me at first but i don't blame Akio for that but then she got to know me...and a loving father that showed me what it means to be loved and who never gives up on me no matter what”

 

“This is how my story started….but now my story continues of how i found.. hate….friendship…..and love…and how i saved the world”
