When everything calmed down, Steph was led to a building made out of stones and elven wood.

Inside the room where Steph was in, the room was like a typical drawing room but for some reason the room was filled with mages and soldiers. Steph sat at the soft sofa while occupying every part of Rin’s left hand, Steph shown that she doesn’t trust anyone but her.

By the way, Rin had introduced herself before coming here as a dark arts teacher. It seems that her words affected Steph and she doesn’t want to let go of her. Everyone refused about it, but in the end they didn’t have a choice, Steph was very fond at her now.

‘She’s still trembling’ Rin thought as she gazed at Steph’s trembling figure. Steph’s eyes strayed here and there, it was clearly seen that she was uncomfortable being stared at by everyone. Furthermore, it made it even worse because of the knights around.

Rin felt her sleeves being tugged down, she didn’t bother it at first but then she realized it was Steph.

“What seems to be the matter?” She asked with a soft tone.

Her figure just now was out of the rumors. Rin is usually nonchalant at things, she usually doesn’t give a care to someone or something. Whenever a student fails, she fails it without getting worried about the student. Rin is your typical-don’t-care-about-the-world girl.

“U-umm” Steph whisper only reaches to Rin’s ear. “You won’t leave me, right?”

With that statement, an arrow pierced into her heart. Perhaps of Steph’s emotionless face was also a good point about her, Rin blushed. Her small reaction and slight changes of her face made her cute.

The hollow eyes before is now lighten up. Rin replied while the corners of her lips curve up.

“Of course! I won’t!”

Steph’s hands firmly grabbed Rin’s shoulder and doesn’t seem to let go anytime soon. Although Steph’s time is very limited but she has no control of the situation. Hence, she was forced to calm down until the controller move the pace.

While thinking about her limited time a solution comes to her head. Although she doesn’t have time to make a contact between Grim, hence she made up a plan. Steph once again tugs down the hem of Rin’s robe.

“Um!” Steph voice came out while she tried her best getting a blushed face, but in the end she couldn’t.

“What is it?” Rin immediately replied with a worried voice.

Steph made a hand sign, waving to come closer. When Rin realized what she meant, she lends her an ear.

“Is there a---!?” before she could finish her statement, a thin sword appeared in front of her eyes. Thankfully it was Glenn, he didn’t leave a graze on Rin’s skin nor Steph’s eyes.

“Don’t be fooled by that demon!” He shouted which made Steph let out a shriek and hugged tightly to Rin’s shoulder.

Her trembling hands made Rin to shout back to Glenn with anger.

“She’s a HUMAN!”

“But why do I not feel any mana within that girl?” The voice came from the door, it was the Elisabeth that said as she came in.

The school president – Feron a high elf entered after the Princess.

The princess came and sat in front of them while stating the facts about demons “Demons have no mana but has strength of a hundred average adult humans.”

The princess sat at the vacant sofa in front of her while Feron stood behind her. Elisabeth noticed Steph’s clingy figure which made her irritated. Glenn sheaths his sword and came behind the princess without making sounds.

‘What an incredible thin presence’ Steph praise him in her mind.

Rin saw Steph’s trembling body, she couldn’t help but to pat her head and whispered in Steph’s ear ‘it’ll be okay’

Steph gave a slight nod before she start to calm down. But then Steph realized that her time is very limited and can’t be wasted, while her thoughts were at haste, she accidentally raised her voice.

“UMM!” Even though her face was behind Rin’s shoulder her nonchalant high voice was cute.

“What is it?” Rin immediately replied again with a worried voice. She swiveled her head towards Steph as if it was really that important than the princess.

“I’m about to—“

“I brought the ball of truth” A crude voice resounded the room and made Steph’s speech to cut off, again.

It was the principal – Cedric waited at the door while carrying a ball that sat atop a violet pillow and said a fact that made Princess’s conclusions to shatter.

“I also have seen a demon in my life. Their appearance looks like monsters, they don’t have a human form. If they do, they’re probably called as demi-demons or half-demons”

While saying so Glenn came in front of Cedric, he picked up the pillow together with the ball. Cedric didn’t uttered more facts about it and left the room.

True, Cedric had seen more demons than the princess, because of that Cedric has more knowledge about them. The princess who had seen a single hideous demon in her life, it murdered her friends and maids. She was still a child back then, a powerless child that couldn’t do anything but to sacrifice her friend’s life.

Her thirst for revenge has yet to fill. She trained herself everyday so that she can eradicate every living demon.

Glenn place the ball of truths at the table in front of them and fades away in the background. Steph then thought ‘seriously, this guy…’

“Shall we start interrogating you?” Princess said with a calm voice while glared at Steph.

At the same time, Grim suggested.

[Time limit: 5 hours and 43 minutes. Suggestion utilize the mana around the mana zone at the original world to fuel the world of archive from the outside. Please give consent]

Thankfully, Grin has a mind that sometimes gives concern for the user. By what he means about it, he means that he’ll steal the mana around the mana zone in the Reign’s house, which is the natural mana. Well, if the natural mana is not enough, then he could easily get condense mana from the frozen forest nearby. Steph peak from Rin’s shoulder and said.

“Yes.” Her voice was low but it was enough to reach to Elisabeth’s ear.

With that, Grin immediately replied before Elisabeth could come up with a question and say it.

[Time limit until 9 o'clock: 16 hours.]

Steph sighed in her head in relief, but it didn’t show it on her face. She kept her act up and not to be flinch by their words. She’s not a magician for nothing after all.

The ball of truth shines brightly blue as it shows how smooths its surface is. It seems that it’s new and haven’t been configured.

“Listen blue is truth” Saying so the ball of truth recognize it and turns into blue. She continued “green is a lie” The ball of truth turns to green “red is both” so did the last one.

Steph was surprised about that last one, she hasn't heard ‘both’ in the ball of truth configuration. Everything seems to be new here and convenient, hence every world is worth exploring. Steph’s confined her excitement under her emotionless face.

“Shall we start?” Elisabeth said while she gave a strong glare to Steph.

Steph nodded back at her.

“Why are you here in this world?” With a strong voice, she made Steph shriek behind Rin’s shoulder.

Rin patted Steph’s head and voice out her opinion with a polite tone to the princess.

“Can you at least be gently? We won’t be getting anywhere if you keep that tone of yours”

Rin said was true. Steph is nothing but a child after all, Elisabeth realize that and couldn’t help but to agree with her.

“Fine” This time she said with a gentle tone. “Hey Stephany, why are you here in this world?” She questioned with a casual tone.

Steph peaks at the princess behind Rin’s shoulder while saying with a voice of a whisper but it’s enough to make the princess to hear it.

“I don’t know”

[Reporting, ball of truth cast upon you, denied, your mana pool is larger than anyone in the room. Your magic resistance is high enough to nullify the ball of truth]

Grim’s nonchalantly reported out-of-nowhere, which almost made Steph’s body to twitch by the sudden surprise. The ball of truth turns blue, it only means that Steph was telling the truth.

“When I came to” Steph added her story (lie) with a straight face as she looked down with hollow eyes. “I was falling from the sky”

The ball of truth still glows green. Elisabeth was still on the surface, there was more room to investigate.

“What are you?”

With that statement made Steph to praise her, the princess seem to have a talent for interrogation. But it lacks, Steph could easily get around that question without the help of her mana nor her resistance.

“A human” When she said it like a whisper. The truth of glows blue.

It made Elisabeth to click her tongue, she was dissatisfied about it while the people in the room went relieve. She stood up from the sofa and came closer to Steph.

Elisabeth raised her hand which made Steph to shout instinctively.

“DON’T PUNISH ME!!” She shouted with haste. Her voice was higher than before, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry”

Her body trembles as her hand grip tightly at Rin’s shoulder. Everyone in the room was surprised by her sudden act, everyone knows that Steph was at least tortured. But they didn’t know it was to this extent.

The princess just raised her hand to use her [Knowledge learner] skill, it makes the user to know about her target. But in this moment her heart flinch, it seems that she was wrong all the time.

Although, she didn’t stop and put her hand in Steph’s head. Rin knows about her ability and didn’t stop her. After all, the knowledge that Elisabeth gained may be able to find the Steph’s torturer. When Steph realizes skill activation, she immediately gives a mana line towards Elisabeth.

Steph pretended that she doesn’t know about it and sends Elisabeth false information. Elisabeth’s hand was invaded by letters and symbols as it fades when it arrives at her shoulder area. While doing so, Elisabeth’s eyes were closed and imagine the information being given to her.

In a split second, Elisabeth felt a day has passed, a day full of pain and torture while her ears was filled with wicked laugh. Her legs went numb and couldn’t help but to kneel down, her face became pale while her forehead was dripping with sweat.

“Princess!? What’s wrong?” Rin asked, she couldn’t move because of Steph.

Everyone in the room was calm, but they were worried about the princess. What did she saw? They wondered.

The princess unconsciously let out a tear and covers her mouth as if she wants to vomit but hold it deep down. The princess look at Steph’s trembling figure, she then realized what she did. It made Steph to remember such horrible experience.

Elisabeth immediately hugged Steph as she apologizes.

“I’m sorry… I won't do it again. I won’t hurt you again. I won’t doubt you again!” The princess said with sincere.

Everyone can only imagine what her torture is. Perhaps the princess can’t help either because of the pain, thus they won’t try to use it again towards Steph. It was better to not ask about what happened and just move on.

‘With this, everyone is deceive’ Or so Steph thought.

Part 2:

When everything calmed down, Steph was lead to another room which was more comfortable than earlier. The soldiers was also released so that it won’t make Steph anxious about them.

The walls in the room was white with a drawing of magic circle was pasted. Windows were open as it invites the cool air from the outside, the chirps from the birds can be heard. It was pleasing to the ears. The unknown paintings from unknown animals were placed at the walls, it was pleasing to the eyes

Steph sat between Rin and Elisabeth, they thought they were squishing Steph at first but it doesn’t seem like it. Steph was more comfortable than having them far away, or so they thought she should be.

The elf had left them half-way to return to the school. The princess and Rin decides to stay with Steph until she feels home. By the way, the owner of the house is Rin, because she had more room in her house.

Also Rin decides to stay here for the night just in case if anything happens to Steph, although it might take a long time to recover from her trauma, hence she’ll stay until she’s fully recovered

The silence casted on them until a growl can be heard from Steph.

*GROOOOWLLL~~~*

With that Rin questioned Steph immediately with a straight face before the princess could.

“Are you hungry?”

A tear swells up in Steph’s eye and tries to deny by swaying her head sideways. It seems that she’s trauma about it too. The princess was slightly irritated by Rin’s behavior, she wanted to apologize to Steph with kindness and make her feel she’s welcomed here.

“Don’t be like that” Rin said with a carefree tone as she patted Steph’s head. Rin have probably addicted to patting Steph’s head.

Rin stood up suddenly from her chair, making Steph to grasp for her hand. Rin swiveled her head towards Steph and said as she patted her head again.

“I’ll make food for us, I won’t go away” Rin said with sincere words, but still Steph didn’t let her go. Rin made one more push about it “The princess is right beside you, I promise that she won’t hurt you” She gives wink to the princess indicating she needs a follow up.

Hence, the princess puff out her chest while putting her hand to her heart.

“I promise” She said as give a smile.

Steph gives hesitate nod before letting go. Steph immediately hugged the princess’s stomach while she laid down her head at the Princess thighs. Steph’s face indulge deeper in the princess’s stomach.

With Steph’s peony gestures, Elisabeth just now experience what she hadn't expected. She didn’t know what Rin feels when Steph wants to be spoiled.

‘She’s too cute!’ the Princess thought.

Meanwhile, Steph had win their hearts and couldn’t stop grinning, or she doesn’t know if she’s grinning or not. But just in case she buried her face. With this, Steph can easily request something from the princess.

She planned her future. If she keeps doing this, she won’t achieve anything. However, she could always use her dolls or clones to find interesting things here. Of course she still haven’t forgot about her main reason why she came here.

She simply wants to explore the whole world of archive while killing the demons so it won’t harm her spell books. After all, some spell books have their origin here in this world. But first she needs to register herself.

“Um” Steph averted her head towards the princess from above, she continued while the princess was tilting her head in confusion as she look at Steph “I was wondering how I can register myself.”

It was a risky move but she tried it. After all, who would think something about that after the mess earlier? Or perhaps it was more important than anything.

The princess’s eyes strayed outside the window, but Steph didn’t looked outside the window. The princess then said

“Don’t worry! We’ll register you!”

Steph was surprised…

To think that her recently seeded plant starts to bloom…

“Really!?” Steph replied. Her mood was improved and start to show them, or so they thought it should be.

“Yes!” The princess replied with a smile.

With that, the registration is complete. However, Steph has no idea what kind of registration this is. But she assumed it would be like a citizenship registration or something.

While the two of them were chatting with a friendly atmosphere, Rin was cooking behind the kitchen counter and was feeling kinda lonely. The princess told stories that happened in the past and information about the world, even though the Grim had already told Steph about it.

All of them ate lunch except for Glenn and the day passed in a blink of an eye. Steph wanted to explore the world even if it’s a little, but hold herself. She has to act as if she doesn’t want to go outside, hence the people would stop bothering Steph to go outside.

Furthermore Rin’s food is extremely good, she’s very independent person. She even let Steph to stay with her, but in Elisabeth case she could not. It was simply because her room was messy, books piled up here and there, and add the fact she’s living in a dorm.

After all, the royal kingdom was on the other world.

Rin didn’t attend the class even though she’s a teacher. When night came Steph slept at a vacant room that Rin lent. Although, Rin was concerned about her, but she doesn’t want to bother Steph.

Rin assumes that Steph needs a space and think about everything that happened this day, she hoped that Steph won’t be scared tomorrow.

Steph gaze through the window while seating at the bed. The starry sky was clear and thousands of stars casted on the infinite space, it was unbelievable that there’s even night and day inside the archive. The monsters in this world of archive she thought they were very aggressive. But it seems that it wasn’t the case. Most monsters are very friendly to each race.

Demons in the other case, they have hideous body and have a ridiculous strength of a hundred adult humans. It seems that they are strong in Physical term, but not magically. They also have wings to fly across the worlds.

As she reviewed what she learned today she laid down at the bed face up.

‘An unknown ceiling’ she thought.

Instead of white marble ceiling, a wooden ceiling was in front of her. Well, it doesn’t matter since she’ll be coming home, however she’ll return after she manages the fief, or so is what her father plan is.

After waiting for a while without doing anything. She heard Grim’s voice.

[You had been registered in the world of archive.]

It seems that the princess completed her job. Immediately the [mana zone] burst out of Steph and filled at least a kilometer around her, she immediately thought it was very bad. But then she remembered that she have casted conceal on her mana zone too. Hence no one noticed her mana zone.

Not only that, it seems that the other party’s mana zone is helping Steph’s mana zone to grow denser, but it doesn’t mean that the mana zone would leak its presence. Steph has nothing to worry and can easily get information around her.

With this, Steph is victorious. Her amusing act has yet to rust. She made a doll of herself and made it laid down on the bed.

Then she summoned the gate for her original world and exited the world of archive. After a few seconds later the world immediately slowed down, Steph stop giving mana to the world of archive to make everything stop.
