Building up my confidence, I enter Marie’s room. Got to stay calm and not let her treat me like a toy. Inside, Marie was sitting down on her desk with a weary expression.

She walked up to me menacingly and closed the door behind me before grabbing my left wrist and pinning it to the wall.

I blurted it out immediately. Maybe it’s finally time to use the strengthening magic I just absorbed? Closing my eyes, I try to concentrate in the brief grace period and just as I try to materialize the magic-
Nothing happened.
I felt a hand circling my lips while the other one was still stuck to mine against the wall.
“Tut, tut, tut. ’Pet’s’ shouldn’t use their magic against their masters. I sealed all this magic in this room.”
My composure broke, but unlike previous times instead of being more submissive, I wanted to break free from her grip and reverse her momentum.
“Ma-rie?”
“Ye-“
*Bonk*
I tackled her chest with my head successfully knocking her of balance – wait she’s still holding me.
*collapse*
I wanted to floor her, but then I ended up falling on her instead. Lovely. Exactly what I intended. Lying on her stomach was strangely comforting though, maybe on the inside she was actually a gr-

I’m not finishing my sentence. Without another word she sat on my stomach last time but instead of harassing my horns she just tore of the only top I was wearing, exposing my breasts–
Wait, did this mean she was going to do ‘it’ with me?
Her personality was rotten to the core and I do want to kill her, but is this-
She just rested her head there.
“I’ll let you go for today, but just return the attention I’m giving you, okay?”
Was I hearing this correctly? The girl who tortured me for her own fun was letting me go scot-free after I knocked her to the ground and tried to fight her? Is this character development?
She patted my head, ignoring my horns like Emil.

@Snoodle_Booper It you think about it her actual head would hit Marie before the horns depending on Marie's body size. Or maybe Alice hit her with the front part of her horns.

The horns have a pretty decent curve back towards her head. She's more likely to hit someone with the sides rather than the ends. Unless she bends over 90 degrees and points them at somebody first.

@Snoodle_Booper There's a couple things I could use to try and justify this: Since she was pinned close and is frail, + can't use strengthening magic her headbutt was laughably weak especially without momentum, that's all I got but who knows maybe I'm underestimating MC
@DaMarcus that’s true, we don’t know much about the Alice’s potential for now.
@Zailo95 1 thing I CAN say with confidence is that she at least has enough potential to be like a 1 man army, what we've got so far is that Alice is able to use magic, but only if she consumes a magic stone with the imbued type. Alice also for some reason has the ability to choose what to imbue into a stone, almost like an innate talent, like she can use the magic but only after she fulfills the requirement. In this same way she is also limited. She needs a magic stone of high quality if she wants to gain powerful skills, so as long as gem quality has a low capacity, she has a low potential. However, if she can find a way to consistently obtain high quality magic stones, such as a magic that allows her to create magic stones or a jeweler of high class, Alice is practically unstoppable. She's like the Thanos of farm animals
@DaMarcus All those points are correct, if you read enough novels you can find when a MC is able to absorb things like knowledge, magic, etc they are basically in their own league of power like novels based of seven deadly sins, mainly [Gluttony] and powers similar to that. The fact that she can use any magic if she eats the magic stone of the corresponding magic she is going down the right path to become extremely powerful and there's a fact that she could possibly increase her magic power through the same means.
