Ah yes... i'm still adding a few more content if possible...
Don't expect updates to be constantly like this... since I have other things to laze around with Tee~ hee~

I was fighting a specific an odd opponent in Lost-World.
As a requirement for job upgrade for the necromancer class who had reached maximum level.

The goal is to defeat the boss which was supposedly easy.

However...

The boss wasn't anything easy.

A single figure stood in our way.

Enveloped in Black Mist.

It carried a MASSIVE Scythe.
And capable of crushing my summons in a few short combo attacks.
Despite my overwhelming gear and stats.

It was absurd to call this a job change mission for the [Necromancer] Class.

(Are the dev's fucking kidding me?)

The final test required the user to defeat this thing.
But, those who entered this final test was stuck respawning to its entrance.

We can repeatedly try.

Pain receptors when taking damage was there but it only stings at most.
The pain wasn't that great but it was still annoying experience.
For players in this world, experiencing pain was a warning that they are taking damage or about to get killed.

Death isn't pecularly painful, but we suffer a numbing sensation for a while...

With a big fat [GAME OVER] screen in front of us.

[RESPAWNING]

[In]

[10.] - [9.] [8]...

Till it hit zero.
In other words it was like it was mocking me.
Whether the dev's made it or not...

I didn't know the reason.

It's action and movement felt otherworldly.

After days of working and playing to beat this thing.

Soon it was announced that there was a game bug.

[Currently, Job change for Necromancer Class.
Has reached a strange situation where it is too strong.
We are currently creating replacement and adjustment but a bug is rejecting any changes,
Players who are currently stuck in that area are now free to use an [Teleportation Scroll] for now while everyone can wait while we fix it.]

[Players are still free to try and defeat the boss.
While we will try to find a way to recreate a new opponent.]

[Please wait for the next maintenance.]

Next maintenance in this game usually occur, every month.
Which means players had only a month to deal with this boss.

I felt like this was done deliberately to harass necromancer users due to all the complaint they received.
Since it garnered a large amount of hate from those who chose normal classes.
Then again the numbers of necromancers are Very few, so it's unlikely that they did it deliberately.

I hope...

Due to the challenge presented by the boss.
Many necromancers like myself tried to beat it.
But all of them gave up after a few days of trying...

Meanwhile, I was desperately trying to come up with a solution to clear this so I'll become the FIRST!.

As I made each steps,
Failres after failures and scanned its every move.
I soon realized that this opponent isn't an impossible foe to defeat.

It was simply, performing normal movement of a skilled warrior but wielding a gigantic scythe with infinite stamina.

But sometimes it performed movement similar to that of an Assasin.

It looked daunting at first glance due to it's shockingly strong abilities.

But I got used to it.

Repeatedly, I fought it.

-Game Over- -Game Over- -Game Over-

-Game Over--Game Over- -Game Over-

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

[Game Over] [Game Over] [Game Over]

Since it was the last day.
I wanted to beat it at least once.

Desperation, and calculation.

Each and every step.

(It's going to make a wide sweep.)

"Command!"

I ducked along with commanding the rest of my forces in a timed movement.
Command system in the game can be manually readjusted.
This allowed the player to command the summoned units altogether.

Necromancer isn't the only class that uses summoned units.

There is also the summoner class.

But I dislike the flashy fantasy creatures that seemed too colorful to me.
It didn't fit with the theme I wanted for my character...
Which is...

Cool LOLI badassitry while being cute.

Also the necromancer tree had easier to control units as they function like robots.
The summoner tree had Locked commands where you cannot command them directly like what I am doing now.

They act like real monsters to make it realistic and apparently useless in actual gameplay.

(HAH!)

"Downward swing!"

This boss carved and moved the earth in a cone in front of it.
but its action slowed it down.
Which left me an opening!

*Clash* *Slash* *Cut* *Crash*

Repeatedly this cycle continued.

[Game Over]

Until finally after how many times I tried...
I finally remembered all it's movements.
The range of it's attacks.

It's hints and quick reactions.

[Maintenance starting in...]

Ah... it's about to be finished.

It's HP bar was extremely low [5%].

All i needed was one more hit in!

[10.]

[9.]

[8.]

I managed to sacrifice one of my pawns to provide a hit in...

[4%]

[7]

[6]

A single attack can kill one of my summoned undead.
Most of them are maximum level, it's kind of broken but...
It's HP isn't as strong as its damage.

They made lee-way to make sure this boss was beatable.
It damage was just absurdly game-breaking to call it a final test.

[5]

I sent my five remaining undead into a kamikaze.

It performed a wide Cleaving attack as I allowed two of my swiftest undead to jump as it performed a diving attack as it slaughtered three but placed my blows in.

[2%]

It's supposed to suffer [Pinned status.] But...
But for some strange reason, it grabbed the two skelletons with its bare hands and crushed them.

[4]

With no summons left, I still had one card left.
My staff as I was already ready for such a scenario incase it wasn't finished off.

[3]

Cast time [1second]

[2] my magic.

[Return to Darkness!] -> [Greater Retribution!]

This is basically called as the suicide move of necromancers.
As it had [True Damage] in its calculation + dead summoned units = more damage.

It also reduced our HP to 1 while accepting multiple debuff effects including [SILENCE].
Rendering us helpless and DEAD when we use such a spell.

It's area of effect was wide scale that it affected any idiot that isn't far away enough.

As it completely swallowed everything 15m away in complete darkness.

But during the explosive spell I used.

[1]

It swiftly reached and destroyed the existence as it dark figure revealed a human countenance.
Which seemed to smile and sneered at me.

Originally the maintance should have booted me out.
(But it didn't...)

[0]

I woke up...
And realized I was now inside a cage with bars in these slaves.
Darn it!

"Huuuaah!"

"Haa..." "Haa.."

(What the fuck was that!?)

Sweat and heart racing.
I couldn't remember the full scope of that time within the dream.
But that was all I could remember, it was vague yet oddly strange.

As I soon realized the horrible situation I still am in...

My intention: [Become the First Necromancer job class changer.]

I wanted to post it in P-tube and be the flex my success making everyone go wow!

But they will likely call me: (WHAT A MASOCHIST!)

As I imagined how internet would call me.

But now i'm in this strange world in a body created by my own hands.

Full of crazy things.

How did my life end up like this?

...

...

...

I thought, things would be smooth sailing to a nearby town...
But then...

"GREEN SKINS!"

Hordes of goblins showed up in a junction point where travelers crosses.
There is a high cliff where they throw spears at the warriors who are outside the cages.
Before my eyes there was an ugly scene that was bloody and horrendous.

(Ugh... what a cliche.)

were the first thought when I heard Green Skins.

But now I think differently...
How the guard who gave me bread and water instantly died just like that.
Made me become aware that this world might be much more crueler than I thought.

That single ambush caused these fools morale to drop to the ground as they begun to flee for their lives.
Meanwhile the goblins still had enough intelligence to know that the humans inside the cages are hopeless in their current state.

(Or... so they thought.)

"Lock-On."

Lock on system.

For sorcerers and magician alike.
The lock on system requires the player to point at the target and in our eyes there is a floating marker (X) which applicate.
Where our spells will land...

[This gave magician 100% chance to NEVER miss.]

Their attack hoewever can be BLOCKED.
Making magic shields a must have for fighting against magicians.

In Lost World.
There Four stats.
Peculiarly not that different from any rpg's.
Technically specific stats affects specific weapons.
But due to it's nature in how we can do creative things with our virtual bodies.
We can do way more in comparison to those brain dead games where you lock on and everything is over in an instant.

Strength: Pertains to physical ability.
Affects: Stamina/Health and Damage when wielding melee weapons and bows.
It also affect's the WEIGHT LIMIT of what we can carry.

Making it universal for warrior classes who wears the bulkiest tools.

Agility: Decides the speed of attack and evasion. Well Duh!
Affect's: Any kind of Weapons when performing physical attacks.
Making it also universal for any classes depending on the build.

Then... we have the two banked together in the game.
The Dev's probably didn't like the idea of losing out on the first three classes and paired them together for better effect.

Dexterity and Perception: Accuracy, Ability to detect traps and speed of crafting and using tools.
Affect's: Mostly long range weapons such as bows and techniques that uses other objects like throwing knives.
Especially CRAFTING.

Anyone who invested in this is mostlikely a merchant or crafter.
During dungeon crawling they are the most reliable class to bring when dealing with sadistic dev's and their crazy unfair traps.
That sends us the [GAME OVER] screen when we were too stupid to avoid them.

Mind: Finally, mind.
The intelligence stat of the game.
Though, one could easily see that this stat only affects magicians for the Glass cannon build.
Mind also increases resistances to magic.

[Making magician vs magician fight a battle of attrition.
Except for necromancers, we just summon shit and command the bones to harass and do physical dmg.]

Calling them unfair in such a battle is accurate.
But we are techanically much more complicated to use in the first place.

Those silly Glass cannon can only try and kill us only to get swarmed and distracted by the bones.
While trying to finish their spells without getting hit.
(Glass cannon: A character that dies easily but also hit like a truck.)

Now let's discuss what happens when you job change.

1. Your stats is reset to 1: EXCEPT for the main stats.

2. Your skills get's erased in favor of a new playstyle used by the new job.

3. Your Equipment is temporarily removed from the character.
Resetting it to your base equipment.
Which basically means.

*Stares at Inventory.*
"Everything was completely erased."

"All my overpowered gear and weapons."

"All that was left are bones."

"But atleast these bones are useful."

"Sacrifice bones." I said in a whisper.

A number of bones in my inventory dissapeared.

I already pointed at each living goblin which my eyes can see.
Marked their pretty green heads as I saw the marker with my own eyes.

A sign that the lock on system still works.

How many bones did I throw away? Fifty(50) should be enough.

When a target is locked in, spells usually float closer and closer until it reaches the intended target or fire's at the closest.

But this one seems to wait for a command instead of an automated attack.

(It was interesting.)

Floating spheres floated on the goblins around the area.
They stared at it like nimcompoops unaware of the danger they were in...

"Attack." I said in a whisper.

*Splatter* *Splat* *Splat* *Splat*
*Splat* *Splat* *Splat* *Splat* *Splat* *Splat*
*Splat* *Splat* *Splat*

In a single sense, it was like looking at a massacre of a hammer crushing their skulls.

"Bread man, thank you for the food.
I'm sorry, I wasn't able to repay the favor." I whispered to myself.

I didn't even knew the name of that guard who fed me.
How sad to meet an end without being able to defend himself.
I swiftly used [Sacrifice Bones] again and broke through the chain and cage as it left a mark on the metal.

The slaves behind me just stared at me as they shook while looking at me with fearful eyes.

"Jeeze...
Well, I can't blame you guys for being afraid."

I covered my head with a hood to hide my face and continued to leave.
Though, in their eyes they probably saw a crimson eyed hooded little girl.

Floating tiny lights just massacred the goblins like theye were crushed by a giant.
Now that cage was broken open by an unnatural force from those dim floating lights.

Though, as I left the cage i made one mistake.

My senses slowed down and I felt this feeling once before...

[State: Evasion.]

But where?
My eyeballs moved slowly to the corner of my eyes where I saw an arrow floating towards me.
I turned to move my body but it wouldnt' budge so easily.

(SHIT! my AGILITY STAT IS ONE!)

Everything including my own body was slowed to a crawl.

In desperation I tried to nudge my body away from the arrow.
It was aimed at my left chest so i turned my body sideways in a counter clockwise movement.

But it was too late as the tips grazed my left shoulder with its jagged arrow as I felt a burning sensation from the front of my shoulders.
Thankfully the arrow wasn't able to dig into my flesh and simply flew straight to the ground only scrape away a piece of my skin.

(This isn't like the game at all!)

Normally it would just be a sting from an ant but now...
It felt like a scissor tore a part of my skin.

My blood boiled with panic, fury and desire to return the favor.

The moment, evasion state ended I had already [Locked on] to a goblin on top of a cliff.

[Sacrifice Bones.]

It directly sacrificed the bones inside the inventory almost reacting to the numbers I wanted.

Floating spheres numbering a hundred floated in the air.

"DIE!" (ATTACK!)

Almost as though reacting to my words these spheres homed in like rockets.

It fled the moment it saw the spheres of dim light.

Due to how homing mechnic's worked it struck the earth instead of hovering above the terrain.
Digging into it like some kind of mallet hammering into the debris.

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang* BAng*

The hundred spheres crashes into the cliff carving a hole into it as the earth keeps being pushed away .

As it pierced through.

I gazed at it...

I was astounded on how powerful such numerous spheres were...

But never did I imagine it to be this powerful!

Though, another feeling I felt.

My body was glistening in a glow that was different.
White aura whenever a player levels up.

(I can assume I leveled up.)

there was no [LEVEL UP] in front of my face.

Nor was there options to add to my stats.

(How am I suppose to put more agility into my stats?)

This was a dilemma.

Necromancers was a class that utilizes high agility and mind.

Unlike sorcerers who were glass cannons that utilized mind and dexterity.

Necromancer spells were demanding since most of it's curses and abilities were at closer range.
If the summoned units stray too far from the caster: the summoned bones starts to react slower to commands.

Hence we were called as Reaper class of the game.

That played both high risk/high reward gameplay.

but in my current state I am hopelessly WEAK!

SO FREAKING WEAK!

Most of the system was disabled but some were still working.
I felt like I was playing a broken game of Lost World.

"This is ridiculous." I was furious.

But there was nothing I could do...
I walked to the carriage door, where I saw a corpse of a fat flubby man inside it.
He reeked and blood dripped around holes around his back.
(Ugh... this is ridiculous.)

I didn't want to touch a dead body but I had to step on this fat bastard who treated humans like object.

I searched for the keys and it wasn't there...

Because the key's to this annoying chains on my leg are mostlikely here.

As it made grinding noise on the earth.

(It's heavy...)

Even if it's just my leg, my strength stat is piss poor dirt.
Strength affects weight limit which means the objects I can carry are small.

In lost world there was an item that allowed me to carry at any Limit.

(A CASH ITEM)

Even that was destroyed.

"This is nuts."

I searched inside the slave master's carriage and the place looked like a noble hut.
Comfy fur seats yet bloodstains were visible, but I didn't want to touch that.
What I saw from the corner of that area are the key's that I was looking for...

*Jingle* *Jingle*

Finally found it.
Now then... which is the right one...

*click* *click* *click* *Clang!*

*Snap* it opened and finally free my ankle from it's sour pain.

"Ugh... Finally..."

I left the carriage and saw the slaves are now outside all of them pale and gazinga their dead guards.

They looked rather lost.

(Should I care?)

I had the keys on my hand.
As I stared at them, they noticed my gaze and stared at me with a pale expression.

I then tossed the key to them.

"Here... your free now."

Or so... i say, but this place is a fantasy world where goblins exists.
They are screwed to say the least including myself...
I searched for the food and scrounged for their water bottles.

Some were booze which I threw away in my inventory, due it's strong disgusting scent.
I was never particularly a drinker but for some strange reason my nose were sharper than before...
But then...

I noticed these slaves who had unlocked their chains on their legs gazed at me.
In peculiar a young boy approached me with shaking legs.

"Hm? what's wrong?"

I gazed at him as I stored away the booze in my inventory.
(Heh... back to hoarding...)

His eyes turned to me and asked.

"Um... everyone is wondering...
What we should do... now."

"HAA?
What should you do? in this situation? Survive you imbeciles!"

The young boy shuddered as he fell flat on his bottom as he hit the dirt.

(Ouch, doesn't that hurt?)

I then turned to the slaves behind the young boy now shaking.

"Everyone pick up the weapon the guards dropped.
Specifically the spears and shields, you can strip them of their armor if you want.

Since the fact there are monsters around, it's better to wear and have them.
Then probably sell them later for money or something..."

(That's basically the logical solution right now.)

Though the real problem...

I turned to the head of the carriage where the creature who was supposedly pulling the carriage should be still there...

-The Lizard Mount is freaking dead.-

To make things worse...

Blood was trickling down my left shoulder.

"I better patch this up."
