After sleeping peacefully with her bony protector.
She woke up with the carriage moving once again,

Disbanding the bony protector she then stored back the bones in her inventory.

Lit who glanced at the group felt their eyes remained the same.

(I know these folks aren't bad people.
But the feeling of someone you thought was a friend suddenly changing into that of murderous intent still hasn't left my mind.)

"Haa..." Lit sighed then gazed at the distant sky above her.

The carriage moved onwards, as for the group.
Their way of viewing Lit hasn't changed,
except for Roel who was now showing a somber expression at the loss of one of his knights.

While the other being heavily injured.

There was no room for complaints of who will protect them in the night as Lit was fully capable of that herself.
However, the fact she had killed a knight of a noble, that took an attempt of her life made others grew worried about the future.

But Lit didn't care about that...

Her greatest concern is how she could use her ability to futher her goals.

([Bone Edict] and [Bone Craft] both when utilized provided alot of options and flexibility.
The problem is how the empire views my power as a part of the necromancer's who uses lives like tools.
Fortunately, my creations didn't possess the [Unholy] Trait.

Otherwise there's no question that these skills would be seen as evil at just a glance.

[Soul tap] and [Bend Spirit] is also another powerful asset...
I can gather information from the dead with it.

[Sacrifice bones] and [Soul Strike] Are my only offensive skill.
But it's a bit strange...
It does more damage towards the undead than the living...
Why is it like that?)

Lit pondered about it.

(What Class is the Little One? Exactly?) as she questioned these thoughts.

She sighed and opened the AI system command options.

(Let's make some new commands.
I can't allow the same mistake to happen again...)

And thus she quietly worked while turning her gaze away from others.
She opened her map to watch if there was any sudden hostility present around her.
But to her relief there were none as everyone in the carriage was simply waiting and hoping to reach their destination.

However...

There was one boy who stood at her side...

It was the nameless grey haired boy which Lit had a trouble calling his name.

"Hm? is there something the matter?"

He shook his head and asked. "What are you doing?"

"Ah... " Lit then thought...
It must have looked strange to him how Lit simply fiddled with air.
But Lit answered honestly since it won't matter even if he knew...

"I am adding some new commands to my bones.
I don't want to repeat the same mistake like claiming a life of another by accident."
Lit who said this carelessly made others turn to her as it was too quiet in the carriage.

"That's strange...
Is that why your fiddling with your hands like that?" when the boy asked with curious words.
It annoyed Lit but she nodded to him regardless as she tries construct some new commands.

Lit became aware that no one could see the floating system box that only she could see.

"It's something that only I can see." Lit said while tapping the System box with her language within it.

The boy then sat beside her. "Can I sit and watch then?"

"Do what you want..." Lit said as she calmly worked on the new command.

The boy gazed at her, while Lit ignored her, she gently smiled at her appearance who was hiding in her face in a hood.
This lasted for a long time, until Lit asked him a question.

"Aren't you afraid of me?"

"Why?"

"I killed a person."

"But... you didn't do it on purpose."

"But i still killed a person."

"Does that make you a bad person?" when the nameless boy asked such a question.

Lit paused for a bit, then she glanced at him with her crimson eyes.
She couldn't help but admit that the grey haired boy who gazed at her with calm pink eyes was quite a unique appearance.
He looked cute yet at the same time his past was rather sad as she recalled how he introduced himself.

"Of course not." Lit proudly said those words.

"Then why ask me if I am afraid of you?" the boy curiously said.

"Because the opinion of other's, usually differs from my own.
It doesn't matter how much one justifies their actions as just.
The fact lies that others will see you as a bad person even if you don't want to...

The truth I killed a person and a knight will probably haunt me forever.
But the fact I didn't truly mean't to kill him was a fact that even I know for myself."

The boy who heard her thoughts then gazed at her with sparkling eyes, he then said.

"Ms.Lit... is strong."

Lit's mood and ego rose as he said those words. "Of course..." she said while grinning.
Subconciously she raised her hand and patted his head.
"Be sure, to become a strong adult when you reach your new home, alright?" when she said those words, he then asked.

"New home?" his expression became sad this made Lit flinch as she tilted her head.

"Then... what do you want?
Once we reach the city, we will have to part ways." his eyes grew wide as she said those words.

All of a sudden the head she patted rushed close to her as he hugged her. "I don't want to!" he shouted.

"Eeh?" Lit was shocked at the sudden development.

"Take me with you!" He gazed at her with puppy pink eyes.

(So cute... Hey wait? cute? why did I say such a thing to a boy?)

State: Confusion.

As a person who liked cute things,  to the extent of making his own character cute.
Lit was fully aware of what she viewed as cute, but... to call a boy cute?
She shook her head and turned to the side where the others were, their gaze was stuck to her like curious cat's.
As they all swiftly turned their heads.

Ignoring yet peeking at her situation.

(Darn them!)

But as time passed by, tear's began ato flow in the boy's eyes.
Lit expression froze.

"I'll do anything!
I'll carry your things!
You don't even have to pay me!
Just take me with you."

Lit gazed at him in shock, he looked desperate to the extent he was willing to be a slave to her.

"You know...
I can control bones.
Aren't you afraid or disgusted by these bones?"

Lit pulled out one of her bones from her inventory, it was big as a man's arm.

"It looks cool and tough!" he said.

"I have red eyes!
The knight called me evil!
Do you still want to follow me? it's going to be dangerous!"

He shook his head.

"Ms.Lit isn't evil!
I think your cool!
Despite being as short as me, you can do all these cool things!
Those bones you make are strong enough to protect me right?"

The young boy said in an eager tone.

Other's gazed at them as they giggled, lit couldn't help but glance in annoyance to them.
Both their height was merely a man's chest that they looked like a couple from a distance.

But that didn't matter to Lit.
As Lit then asked with annoyance.

"How old are you?"

"I'm becoming fifteen soon."

Which mean't he was 14 and his birthday was close.

"Your... much older than I thought!" Lit was shocked.
Despite his cute appearance...
He was much older than he appears to be considering her own height which was as small.
The boy was only slightly taller than her.

Notice: [Her head and height is around a normal man chest: Around 130cm.]

(According to the developers, they refused to give out comments about (small) characters within the game.
As they received the 50% evasion chance boost many took them for specific classes.
One can only go as far below 130cm to avoid player's from making characters TOO SHORT that it break's legal purposes.)
(Sizes of toddlers.)

"Can you tell me how the heck did you become a slave?"

He nodded and explained as Lit later discovered why...

It was due to porverty.
He was not being fed properly his height was hampered at a young age.
He was later sold off as a slave for being unable to repay his fathers debt who had chosen to run away from their home.

"Sheesh... that's horrible." Lit was faintly aware of how cruel the life he must have lived.

The boy then said. "I guess miss lit doesn't want to be with smelly and ugly slave like me."

Lit expression froze as she then cried out in retort.
"Your far from being ugly, your just malnourished you fool!"

She then sighed at the young boy with a tired expression.

"Fine..." she said in annoyance.

"Really!"

"Yeah... but prepare yourself!" She pointed at him.

"I don't mind having a few hands working for me.
In actual fact it would be helpful to have some extra arms to do some errands.
As long as you do your task properly I won't have much complaint and I will let you follow me."

"However, I will be paying you to do your job.
Your not a slave anymore.
Get that into your head!
Are We Clear?"

The young man nodded, but then there was another issue.

"I still don't know what to call you.
I despise your current name." these words stabbed his heart and mind.

But Lit was gazing at his grey hair and pink eyes his face looked quite thin...
However, if he was properly fed, Lit thought he would look decent.

"Since your starting a new life once we reach there...
Then how about changing your name into Pinky since your eyes are so pink." she teased him.

He then frowned and shook his head while puffing his cheeks.
The other in carriage giggled a bit as I said his name in a comedic manner.

"Ahaha... that's obvius.
A boy wouldn't like being called pinky."

Then her expression became a bit serious.

"Truthfully, I'm not really good at making names."
Lit confessed as she herself had trouble naming herself.

"If i were to describe you, right now.
It's grey...
Grey like ashes of burnt wood..."

His eyes lit up at the word.

"Your like a child covered in grey ash when I first saw that grey hair of yours when you washed it."

"Isn't it a fitting? Name?"

He gazed at her with a stunned look. "I like it." he said then with a warm smile.

"Thank you."

Lit couldn't help but *Cough* a bit then look away as the scenery in the carrage slowly began to change.
She continued with her work as she tapped in the air as usual, though her ear's were a bit red.

...

...

...

A few days had passed by...
They encountered a few villages which helped point the way.
As for the injured knight, he was showing sign of illness and was given some medicine to relieve the pain.

Lit's injury towards him was bigger than she had thought and it troubled her a bit.
But given the situation if she had left him able to move, she feared for her life during the night.

They soon close in to the nearby town, they encountered a large force headed their way.
It didn't take long for everyone became wary but this waryness changed into a calmer manner when they saw the flag they carried.

*Whistle* Ralph who first saw it gazed at heavily armored knights in horses.

Some were even in the priest order carrying heavy mallets.

"Halt!" one of the large bulky knights stopped the carriage.

"We are the expedition team to wipe out the orc menaces that we heard was causing trouble in these area.
I heard travelers were barred from traveling these place?
How did you folks arrive here?" the man asked with a questioning gaze under his steel helmet.

Ralph was of course the first to speak with them... with his glib tongue he swiftly answered.

"You fellows must be the reinforcements aiding Palia.
The last battle there was finished a few day's ago.
However, they suffered quite alot of damage that they might collapse if they face another horde of them."

Ralph only revealed what Lit had told her.
The commander requested her help to wipe them out but she refused due to the risks involved.
She was confident about taking down the monsters from afar on top of their large wall's
But didn't want to face them on foot.

She feared the many variables that might show up while in a forest that remained unexplored in her map.

"Hm? they managed to repel the horde?"

"In sense they manage with the help of a wandering sorceress.
Her name is currently being sung in that town, after her arrival."

He made sure to make it vague.

"This made the knight frown."

(It must have looked like they arrived too late.)

"The sorceress had already left though...
They fear they will face another attack if the orc encampments are left untouched."

"The sorceress didn't help?" the knight asked.

"She didn't and was only after earning gold in a safety of the walls."

Ralph didn't lie.
That was Lit's excuse, while rushing to leave to test her new found skills.

"I see... then how did you folks end up here?"

"We left palia and journeyed our way here."

"What about the orc's?"

"We had capable guards, but they got injured on the way."

One of the knights who inspected their carriage nodded.

"I see... then safe travel's travelers.
The town here has church of our order nearby.
You should have that man recover there."

As he said those words.
The large force went on their way as it lasted for a few short minutes for them to pass.
They soon went on their journey towards the new town they arrived in after passing a few villages that pointed the way.

Lit was now aware of the views of necromancy and had decided to restrain herself from using [Bone Edict].

After facing the guards Beast-master relayed information in the road and gained a few coins for the information.
It was natural for them to share information of their travels to help others like him become aware of the state of their travels.
They encountered a some orc hordes which Lit single handedly overwhelmed.

But aside from that, there weasn't much of a threat and their travels was comfortable.

As for the young knight, Roel had requested the help of ralph and the group.

But after a day of stay...
Ms.Lydia then said.

"It appear's we found our place to stay in..."

She with a young group of girls and boy's.
They found an orphanage to stay within the church order of the town.

"Your staying? wasn't the capital your aim?" Lit asked.

But she shook her head.

"What we want is a peaceful place to stay in...
Looking at this place, it has everything we could ever need.
The holy order church is rather kind when I asked for their assistance to begin anew."

Religion.

Lit thought of this...
She knew little of this world's Holy Order.

(Is it really so holy?)

But lit didn't want to dig too deep into it and nodded.

"It's been a long journey hasn't it?" Lit said.

"Indeed...
Though... I had to ask, Ms.Lit.
Why exactly are you so wary of the girls?"

"Hm? uhh... thats..."

Lit was faintly aware of it.
The girls were curious of her and wanted to befriend her.
But...

"I didn't want to get too attached."

That was an excuse, in reality the girls who tried to get close to her.
Began to wash each other when they found a river close by when they took a break when they found a river.

Lit who was too conciouss of it couldn't join in with them.
When she was invited to get washed as thanks for their help.

It was because Lit was still a boy at heart.
The thought of seeing young girls bathing and washing her was completely against her common sense.
Not to mention...

(Why are girls here so strangely pretty?)
Lit who gazed at them couldn't help but feel at awe at the girls/women and men of this world that was born beautiful.
Though, she was aware that there would definitely be ugly ones somewhere.

Most of them were definitely attractive by appearance alone.
As she gazed at the Lydia's bountyful chest her appearance was still youthful despite being at thirty.

Meanwhile... Lit herself.
Of course, she had washed and saw herself in a birthday suit .

But... Lit didn't feel any attraction to it.
In a sense she felt ashamed to even think about it.
She was too busy shivering in the cold river due to the cold waters.

She had thought of making a barrel of bones to heat it up, but she wasn't sure where to get the fire.
Or... if the bones would retain it's shape under the heat flames.

Lit sighed at the stupid thought at the time then said to Lydia.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't bond with you guys." Lit apologized to Lydia and the girls who was with her.

"No... we had fun!" one of the little girl said to her.

"Lit is cool, like Ash said.
To see that many bones fight those monsters
It looked cool!"

One of the girls even said.
"I wish I could come with you, too!
But, I didn't want to interrupt, you and Ash."

"Huh?" Lit was confused by those words.

"What are you talking about?" When lit asked those words in curiousity.

The gal's giggled and ignored her but showed a calm smile.
Lit was puzzled but decided to ignore it.

Lydia then said.
"Thank very much for all you've done." She then embraced her as she felt the soft bountiful chest she had.

"I thought my life would have had ended there...
But meeting you have been quite a blessing.
Do not let a single accident bring you down."

Lit knew what she mean't.

"There might be more trouble on the way,
but I'm sure you can handle them." she made a gentle smile as she glanced at the children then at Lit.

"Your so young, yet so capable.
I wish, you could stay a little longer."

But Lit shook her head.

"No... if I stayed alittle longer,
I might get too attached to this place."

Lit was still a stranger to this world, even she desired a home to stay in one day.
(Not until I figured out why, I was brought to this world.)

(But I don't know where to start.)

She hoped to find such answers as she wanders and explore more of her class.

(This is my only clue.)

As she thought of this, she turned to the carriage and rode while waving at them.
"Be sure, to take care."

"We will..." As lydia waved her hand to them the carriage began to move onwards.

But as the Carriage moved on.

The number was reduced to four...
It became oddly spacious as Lit saw it.
Only Ralph, Beast master, Ash and Roel was present.

But then Roel approached her and asked. "Can we talk?"

As she saw his expression that seems to have calmed down with renewed vigor.
Lit could only sigh and wondered what he wants.
