This note of mine is like a guide since it got to my attention that some people are struggling to understand what my story is actually.

So let's kick in with the first set of questions. Note, if you have any questions you can address them in the comments.

Q: Is this novel One Piece fanfic?

.

A: It's indeed a one piece fanfic, just that it is a unique spin that I bet no one wishes to make because it's too complicated and not many references on the original story.

When you think about One Piece, you instantly get your thought to that pirate world and rubber boy constantly yelling in your years, "I'll become the Pirate King!?" (with a huge ass Plot Armor on himself)

Well, in this spin of mine, I take the story from the perspective of someone who doesn't belong to those factions, pirate, marine, or revolutionary.

MC path will be the Monarch one in the literal meaning. We will see him turning a shattered country embroiled in conflict and schemes into something great.

But here I go back to the first question. It is still a One Piece fanfic? Yes, why not? You have the world, the powers, heck, even the characters original to the story, but you'll see them appearing slower because they are just minor characters. Even the Straw-hats are medium size chess pieces in this chess game board.

Q: Why are you trying to do such a spin on the story?

A: Why I even bother making this fanfic when most readers just want their rubber boy or some guy building a harem with every single One Piece female character (except the ugly ones, but hey, I've seen everything going around the fandom)

To be honest with you, I thought when reading some One Piece fanfictions bad or worse, not going to judge who got really popular (the bandwagon hype). Still, I've never seen one drop of fanfictions that are doing genuine kingdom building in a story/series which has a very detailed world and intricate network of trading or whatnot.

So here I'm doing my spin. Some hate it, others like it. Others like to read shit, others don't, is all on you guys. I'm here doing something free, an hobby and you are just some drunk passengers riding with me. I don't write for views, money, or any other dumb reason.

Q: Okay, you explained for the average reader not wanting to sit and read your long ass Volume 1, but what about the One Piece girls? You're not crazy to actually not include them, right?

A: There will be 3 love interests. The first love interest the reader would see is an OC. However, bear with me. It's fine, nothing cringe. Followed by Nico Robin and Boa Hancock, it's a surprise which one you'll get to see first. Maybe Boa Hancock, since her island is relatively closer to the kingdom, Vlad is set to be. Or it could be Nico Robin when going to the Grand Line? Sincerely I don't know and not even bother myself (I'm some sort of weird Hydra of Pantser and Plotter)

Q: Can you guide the average reader who doesn't have the patience to read your failed Volume 1?

A: It wasn't that failed if you try to read it. But for the average reader, this is already too much to handle, so I can give them a brief summary of what goes on in Volume 1 and let them go toward Volume 2, which is fast-paced and probably to their liking.

---BE WARNED THIS CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS, READ THIS ONLY IF YOU CAN NO LONGER TAKE IN VOL 1 OR IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO JUMP DIRECTLY TO VOL 2---

CHAPTER 1-6 ....

The first act of Volume 1 starts with the prologue, which is more of an introduction to who my MC is, Vlad Dracula (the historical guy, no Count Dracula, but you'll see him become one). However in that part you will get to know the MC, and see the shape I would write him so you don't rage quit from only the first part of the story

CHAPTER 7-30 ....

In this range of chapters, you will get to know some things about the kingdom I've set the story inside One Piece world. You will see some characters that will stick around for many chapters to go in the future (so when you think that having those characters introduced in Vol 1 and so on, you will see, it's not so simple)

The setting for Vol 1 is a Stone Mine belonging to an "extravagant" merchant. It's the hard path kind of setting where the MC has it hard but grows faster compared (mentally and physically) to the other characters in the world. Still, while this kind of setting seems dark (which truly is) I will not focus too much on his tortures, bad happenings, and so on.

Yet, this is still something dark, and you will see many killings going inside the mine.

CHAPTER 31-53 (this is the end part of the Volume)

Here you will get to see how the MC finds his Devil Fruit, the challenges he needs to take to grab the fruit (it's something really interesting (so jump in and read at least the final part of Volume 1)

The DF will be something overpowered, however at first sight it will not be something wow. It's the type of fruit and power that would grow along with your knowledge (in this way, you the readers will also learn some stuff - who know? It might be interesting)

Tier wise, to use gaming terminology, the DF is in my opinion is S tier (max)

After he gets the DF it's obvious that you will see some training, and that will be some 3-4 chapters, and only after you will get to the breakout (which is the last 5 chapters)

The fight at the end of Vol 1 will be something overdramatic, and in my opinion, it is quite interesting.

For those who really wish to skip directly to Vol 2, read at least the last 5 chapters of Vol 1.

Overall, I hope you have a nice experience with my story. It's something I really put my brainpower into it, and it is original to 80-90% until the end of Vol 2.

It would be a shame if people wouldn't go until the end of what I've written down and actually really discover that my Kingdom I've spent my brain cells into building it and even the World of One Piece in my own interpretation has a unique breath.

Q: How long do you plan to take your story?

.

A: I have no idea. I hope I don't get like to the huge number of Endless Path : Infinite Cosmos (didn't read it, but I know it has a big ass number)
