AN:- I had an exam that started on May 7, I was supposed to go to the capital city to take the exam and I had already booked a bus ticket and packed everything but I got a call this morning from my teacher saying the exam is canceled so I am back. But I am at least glad I don't have to sit in a bus for 12 hours.

-------

The night passed it was the next morning the two of them woke up and were eating some breakfast.

“So what are we going to do today, brother?”

“We are going to look for places to stay, we will be staying on this island until we are strong enough to hunt down strong pirates until then we will stay here and train.”

“Ok.”

“Also I heard that there are a lot of pirates in this area so we have to be careful, we can’t show our hatred towards pirates, or else we might be in trouble.”

Lily looked a little angry when she heard there were a lot of pirates in the area but she reluctantly nodded her head. After they finished some breakfast Yama took the money and the map given to him by Ipponmatsu. He also placed a short spear horizontally on his back.

“Lily come let’s go and take a look around the town.”

Then he looked at the ship of Ipponmatsu and there was still one guy on the ship.

“Hey, we are going to visit Ipponmatsu so please keep an eye on our ship too.”

“We don’t work for free.” The guy replied.

Yama took out a coin of 100 belli and chucked it at him. “Now can you do it?”

“Sure I will watch over your ship for a day.”

With that Lily and Yama left the ship and entered Loguetown. They could see a lot of people in the town. They all looked like pirates, the two of them were surprised by the amount of Pirates there.

They were looking around carefully to see if they could recognize any pirate that massacred their whole island but they couldn’t see anyone. As they were walking they saw various shops like fish shops, clothes shops, Antique houses, bars, Glove factory, etc.

They reached the center of the town and there they saw a platform that was built high up.

Lily pointed at the platform and asked. “Brother, what is that?”

Yama looked at the platform and tilted his head. “I am not too sure but that should be the execution platform where Pirate king was executed.”

“Hehe, this is the only thing I like about this island till now.”

Yama patted her head and smiled.

They kept moving and saw a Marine base of the town.

“Brother there is a marine base here but why are they not catching the Pirates, and letting them walk freely?”

“I don’t know, they might be incompetent, or they might be scared or they might be corrupt or maybe they are tied down by some kind of rules.”

“Oh.”

After walking for a bit more they finally reached the Arms shop of Ipponmatsu. The two of them entered the shop there were few customers inside the shop who were buying weapons and Ipponmatsu and his wife Ipponume were standing on the counter.

Ipponume saw Yama and Lily enter the shop and a huge smile formed on her face.

“You two are finally here, I was wondering if you were going to come or not. Follow me upstairs let’s not disturb the customers.”

Yama and Lily followed her upstairs where Ipponume and her husband lived. She prepared some tea and they made some small talk.

“So why did you two kids come to Loguetown alone where are your parents?”

“We both are Orphans we do not know who our parents are.”

This kind of thing was very common so Ipponume wasn’t surprised.

“So where did you guys live till now?”

“We lived on an orphanage on a nearby island but it was attacked by some pirates but we luckily managed to survive.”

When she heard their story she pitied them. “Sigh, you have suffered a lot at such a young age, the world is cruel sometimes. So anyway what do you plan on doing now?”

“We want to buy a house and open our shop a blacksmithing shop to be more precise.”

She smiled a little when she heard Yama. “Houses are a lot expensive than you think, you won’t be able to afford them. And do you even have any smiting experience?”

“Yes, I worked under an experienced blacksmith for a year.”

“Hoo, then how about this you both can stay with us and make weapons and sell them to us and you can also help us sharpen and maintain the condition of weapons in our shop. We will pay you a decent amount of money.”

“Thank you very much, I can defiantly make weapons and sell them to you but we would like to stay in our own place.”

The lady shook her head and began to explain. “I can understand that you have experienced some cruel things and want to be alone and you probably hate everyone, but you guys won’t be able to afford your own place. My husband and I don’t have a child so we are pretty lonely so we would love for you two to stay with us.”

“How much money does a house in this area cost?” asked Yama?

“Mmm, let’s see, even if you want a small place it will cost you 20 million beli but if you want to set up shop and live comfortably you need about 30 million beli.”

“We can afford that.”

“Now do you understand why I told you to stay with us? Wait what? You have 30 million beli?”

“Yes.”
