Passive wouldn't consider himself the kindest in the world, but he wouldn't say he was the rudest either. Despite being the guardian of negativity he was rather patient and docile. Passive usually kept to himself, he wasn't outgoing. To be honest, he was more of the shy type. His brother Dream on the other hand was sociable and enthusiastic, most usually couldn't see the similarity between these two. "Brother, is something off? You seem to be deep in thought again!" Dream's statement snapped Passive out of his trance and forced him back into this harsh reality.

"It's all good, Dream. I was just pondering something." Passive nodded his head and gestured towards the village that lay in front of them, "Why are you conversing with me, brother? You have friends to entertain and speak with..." Passive disliked his little brother's friends, he didn't consider them 'buddies' at all. It was clear to Passive that the villagers were just using Dream for his positive aura, if Dream's aura was as negative as Passive's then he would be bullied just as badly as he was. Dream looked at Passive curiously, reading his emotions.

"You're worried about me, you want me to stay with you..." Dream was an amateur at reading people's emotions and Passive was an expert at hiding them. Passive was worried about Dream and he did want to hold Dream close just like he'd done when they were younger. His lavender eyes seemed to falter for a moment as he remembered the old days. "I'll stay right next to you, big brother-! The villagers can wait, you're my priority!" Passive smiled and turned toward Dream, smiling up at him.

"That's so sweet, Dream. You know I love you, right?" Passive glanced up at his little brother, he seemed to choke on his words. Passive couldn't help but dread the future, he couldn't help but feel the awakening of something sinister and dark. Something horrible was going to happen and it was unbearable to think something dreadful could happen to Dream and he wouldn't be able to stop it. Passive wanted to tell Dream about the disasters that were sure to happen but he didn't want to see Dream sad. He wanted to see Dream smile and laugh, that's why he refused to tell Dream that he was being abused and hurt and that his false friendship with the villagers was hurting him.

"Of course I know you love me, brother, you've been there for me through thick and thin- I'll love you no matter what and I know you will too!" Dream was naive, he didn't know what awaited him. He didn't know that his brother would end up brutally killing him. "We'll always be together, no evil force could keep me from you."

Passive forced himself to smile as he cradled the small skeleton in his arms. "Of course, of course...."
