The current plan is to have both artists do a similar motif and then decide who I commission a cover with (and future illustrations). Both were pretty good to work with, too. (I can't say that much about the one who did Maya and Sophia because there was a huge language barrier. Still liked the result, though). I think they did an excellent job with Anna. Just the one with the background obviously looks more stunning in the visual sense. I want to see what both do with a similar job.

I mentioned it in some comment before, but yes, I know that tigers don't have slit pupils. But look at those eyes, I think they look amazing. Fantasy tigers are built different!
Just because she's smug and haughty doesn't mean she can't have a playful side! As for the illustrations, they all look fantastic! I think I like playful most, but I'm a sucker for cute.
Agreed, fantasy tigers are built different. Those slit pupils add that extra playful feline charm to her refined smug mug.
On a side note, do fantasy tiger people have those anti-predator fake eye spots on the back of their ears similar to Earth's tigers?

I'll go with a no on the extra eyes. I kinda want Sophia the only tiger with white bits in her hair/fur as a link to Maya. I might redesign Sophia a little because I like the design of Anna's tail much more as the tiger stripes are more detailed. Maybe I'll add some more white to her head, too.

I have to say that I really like how her hair turned out. Nice that you got a different picture for more of a natural pose in nature. And is it just me or does she feel like you will only ever see her in that outfit or the like?
