"What of the harem?" Quan Yu asked

"They were attacked too" the guard replied

Quan Yu instantly dashed off, seemingly at speeds unnatural for a normal human. 

"Wait! You are ordered to guard me!" the Emperor yelled after him, but he was already gone. 

Quan Yu jumped onto the rooftop and started running, cutting down several black clad assassins as he headed for the harem. 

There were already blood and bodies everywhere with maids, concubines and eunuchs all dead on the ground. 

Quan Yu went into full berserk mode, activating his chi to the fullest as he killed his way to Wai Ling's room. 

As he entered the room, he saw two assassins trashing the place

With a smooth movement, he executed a sword move he had been practicing, instantly cutting one of the men in half.

"Where is she?" he asked again as the tip of his sword pointed at the armless man's neck. 

"Who?" the assassin asked 

"The lady that was here!" Quan Yu said through gritted teeth. 

"There was no one here. Maybe she was already kill.." Quan Yu silenced him for good as his sword pierced the assassin's neck. 

He killed his way though the harem, slaughtering many of the black clad men, and rescuing many a maiden along the way. 

But he couldn't find her, and the only hope he has that she was still alive was because he didn't find her body.
