Next week I will start releasing only twice chapters a week but they will be much longer.

Hope you enjoy this one !

Dreydan, the son of the count of Perhe was now eight years old.

Since his birth, he was confined in his room leading him to boredom. It was a very big room but when you are in a room for many years you know her like the palm of your hand. The only things that weren't boring for the young boy were reading and listening to his younger sister, Zayla.

Zayla was born four years after her brother but unlike him, she could wander in the manor and the gardens around the house. She has even gone to the forest behind their house with their dad!

Dreydan who didn't understand why he was locked in his room couldn't help but be jealous. Despite his jealousy toward his sister, he couldn't help but love her. She would always come in front of his room every morning and speak to him through the door. She would tell her brother what the forest looks like, what their house was like and even how their parents look like! Indeed, since he was locked in his room Dreydan hasn't seen what lies beyond the door. The only window of the room was blocked so that he couldn't see through. Dreydan was like the princess of some of the books that he has read who were locked by dragons or evil beings waiting for someone to save them.

Unfortunately, no one came to save the lonely boy in all these years. So he decided that he didn't need someone to save him and that he will be his own saviour. For this reason, he read all the books that were brought to him and thus acquired incredible knowledge.

He learns that he lived in a kingdom named Aurinko. This kingdom was located in the southeast of the Maa continent. At the southern border of the country was a huge forest where lived elves. At the northern border was the Kuu kingdom, the two kingdoms were friendly toward each other. Indeed, the king of Aurinko and the king of Kuu were once brothers in arms. On the other hand, the elves were very secretive. They never left their forest except for a few of them that would leave the forest to explore the world. Those were very uncommon though. In a book, Dreydan learns that no one could enter their forest and that you could end up in their jails or even die if you were caught by them. Despite this fact, the eastern part of the Maa continent was quite peaceful.

On the contrary, the southern part wasn't peaceful at all. It was a desert where only magical creatures lived. Most of them were very hostile toward other living beings leading to a lot of conflicts.

In the western part of the continent was a kingdom named Rauhaa. The inhabitants of this kingdom were mostly dwarfs and dark elves. These two races were famous for their incredible blacksmiths and their great alchemists.

Finally was the northern part of the continent. In this part, there were two countries that were the total opposite.  One was the barbarians country and the other one was the Clouds country. One was full of huge men and women that love to fight and the other was full of wizards that would stay in their towers studying and learning for most of their lives. Their differences result in the two countries being unfriendly toward each other.
