Unfortunate things began to follow up.  This evening, Fei Ge became the heroine in the newspaper and television news coverage and even me, the little known police officer was searched by the public good citizens.  The news of two women carrying a chopper, bare-handedly challenged the evil rogue gangs, via the news broadcasts, spread through the streets and small villages.  I and Fei Ge hid in my house, looked at each other with really unspeakable misery.

          Due to a nameless little person's actions, I and Fei Ge's dynamic nightmare began. 

          Since a child, the receptionist of the hotel had practiced volleyball and likes the game very much.  Basically she knew a little about the national women's volleyball news be it big or trivial matters.  Of course she would not miss the major competitions and naturally, she could recognize the women's volleyball team including Jiang Ge Fei.  When this mediocre girl saw the throng of news reporters, her eyes shone and clenching her fists she faced the cameras while nodding madly.  "Even if she had turned into ash, I will still be able to recognize her! ! !  The one carrying the kitchen chopper is the second setter Jiang Ge Fei, that's correct!……  No, no, no,  I'm not mistaken, she was not holding a volleyball, it was a chopper!  Which TV station are you from?  Insulting me?  Don’t you know that I can differentiate between round and flat?  ……  Oh heavens, the way she held the chopper was so chic and smart, like the Goddess of Revenge……what?  The woman next to her?  I don’t know.  But she said she is a policewoman…..she had a gun, it was a real gun, Oh.  She also took out her police identification to show me......a smart policewoman.  But naturally, she cannot compare to the smart Jiang Ge Fei who was carrying the chopper tsk, tsk.........to be able to see that occasional women rogue temperament….."

          The screen showed the excited girl talking nonsense spraying her spittle all over the place as if she was an out-of-control mental patient from the mental hospital.  Fei Ge twitched her mouth and angrily turned off the TV.  She puffed up her cheeks and laid down on the sofa without saying a word.  I laid down on the floor and inelegantly place my thighs on the sofa.  My heart was in a terrible mess and I thought of all the possible consequences.  I wanted to hit my head on the wall.

          I was not afraid that Lao Tan would give me a severe scolding or afraid of losing my rice bowl but of Jiang Li.  A thought flashed across my mind:  What if that brat, Jiang Li finds out?  What should I do?

          He is only 18 years old, his actual life has not even begun.  He lives in a pure and ignorant world, so protected that he could only distinguish between black and white.  How is he able to understand my shameful and deceptive behavior?

          The naïve romantic girl, Jian Mei Da is actually a good actress with a ruthless heart.  For the purpose of getting close to the young man, she is the unscrupulous policewoman Fang Liang Liang, how cruel can that be?  Even I have difficulty in accepting the truth, then how can an 18-year-old boy forgive me?

          "Liang Liang, what are you thinking about?"  Fei Ge asked me from the sofa with a lifeless voice.

          "I'm afraid"

          "Afraid of what?"

          "Fei Ge, do you know?  Now I am afraid of nothing, only afraid to see the hurt and condemnation in the boy's eyes, Fei Ge what should I do?  I feel weak-kneed, I am afraid that even if I kneel down in front of him, he would never forgive me."

          Fei Ge used her big palm to slap me on my forehead and gave me a kick.  "Stupid!…. I, Fei Ge will always help those in need, so why should I care about my superiors?  Just because of disciplinary actions, I will not save people?  Why should I be worried if they want to reprimand me?  If the leadership is so unreasonable then I am also not interested in this national team.  What is the big deal?  I can still sell vegetables!”

          I rubbed my forehead and looked at Queen Fei Ge sitting on the sofa with a frown.  This is her most realistic look and she has her own values when she judges on what is good or bad.  If there is any disaster, settle it first…..if there is any fight, fight it out first…….today, this disaster is not the first disaster that we had experienced.  This is the biggest disaster that we had had together in all these years.  But because I was infected with Fei Ge's righteousness, these few years I had learned to control my temper and do whatever I wanted to do because I knew that Fei Ge would be my strong backing…..I felt at ease.

          I really had relaxed and my heart felt at ease.  But it was Fei Ge who was showing a bit of distress, with her eyes shining crystal bright. 

          Her mouth muttered.  "It's Fang Yi Heng, that housekeeper* giving me trouble." ( A person who controls another)

          She was sitting desolately on the sofa.  Suddenly I realized that occasionally Fei Ge would also speak differently from her heart, and until now, with outside gossips flying around, Fei Ge was not worried about being disciplined but worried the nerd, Fang Yi Heng would not understand.   As expected, she had not given up this tree, not to mention going into the large forest looking for another tree.  It was clear, she still wanted to hang herself on this tree.
