It was around 8 in the morning and I was doing my regular meditation.

This training allows me to train my eyes in my head, sort of like a mindscape to train.

Suddenly there was a slight presence coming towards me, snapping my eyes open, I appeared behind the target with kunai on her neck.

"What's your purpose here?" I asked.

"Collecting herbs, sorry if I startled you." said Haku.

Although it was the truth, it wasn't the entire truth. He was probably going to treat Zabuza wuth those herbs.

"I see." I said putting my kunai back into my pouch.

"I'm Haku, nice to meet you." said Haku.

An introduction right after a near death experience? No, she wants to know my name to do research, I guess I'll tell her.

"I'm Mira, nice to meet you too."

"I'll help you collect herbs, I did nearly kill you." I said.

"Ah, then thank you." said Haku.

Silence stood over us as we started picking up herbs.

"What were you doing out here?" asked Haku.

"Meditating." I replied.

"Meditating?" asked Haku with a confused tone.

"It helps me have a clear mind and concentrate better." I said.

"I see...are you perhaps a ninja?" asked Haku.

Hoh? Already wanting more information.

"Who knows? Why don't you guess?" I asked.

"Hmm, you probably are." replied Haku.

"What makes you think that?" I asked.

"Earlier you were meditating." said Haku.

"I guess I did, well I am a ninja." I said.

"I see, why were you-" before Haku could even finish, I cut her off.

"Quit the act." I said.

"Hmm?" asked Haku tilting his head.

"You're an assassin aren't you?" I asked.

Immediately, he jumped onto a tree branch and brought out a few needles.

"How'd you know?" asked Haku.

"Come on, no ordinary person can make their footsteps as silent as yours.. It was pretty obvious you were an assassin and you're gathering medicine herbs to treat your other party right?" I asked.

"Your intuition is truly impressive." said Haku.

"Well, I have been training for a long time after all."

"So? Are you going to try to kill me right now?" I asked.

Haku pondered for a moment, "No."

"Then I guess there's no reason for  me to attack you, though I'll see you soon." I said throwing her the batch of herbs.

"This is grass." said Haku.

Eh?

"No it's not." I replied.

"Grass mixed with herbs." said Haku.

"Well......it is what is is." I said.

"Then I'll see you again." said Haku walking away.

If only he was really a girl....sigh.

Truly a shame.

And it looks like everyone's awake.

I was currently on the top of the tree watching Naruto falling off the branch, luckily Sasuke came just in time to save him. If Hinata and Sakura didn't exist, those two would definitely end up together.

It was currently night time and I was sipping on some tea waiting for Naruto and Sasuke to come back.

Man, this tea sure was good.

Just then , the door burst open revealing 2 dirty shinobis.

"We both made it to the top." said Naruto.

"Congratulations, want a cookie?" I asked.

"Yes!" said Naruto.

"Only if you climb up the tree again." I replied.

Naruto was nearly about to go back until Kakashi called him.

I don't even have a cookie, was he this easy to deceive?

"Naruto, Sasuke, you'll also start guarding Tazuna next time." said Kakashi.

"I'm coming with you guys." I added.

"Why?" asked Kakashi.

"I have a score to settle." I replied.

.

.

"I still have a question. Why are you still here even though I lied about the mission?" asked Tazuna.

"To see what is right without doing it bespeaks on absence of courage, like master like man." stated Kakashi.

Huh? I didn't catch any of that.

"It's a teaching of the late Hokage." said Kakashi.

Suddenly, Inari made an outburst with tears flowing down his cheeks.

"Why do you desperately work hard until you get like that? There's no way you'd be a match for Gato and his men even if you train!" said Inari.

Suddenly, there was a feeling of dread in the air.

It was tense, the pressure made it hard for them to breath.

I stared at him with the tip of my blade pointed at his neck.

"Gato and his men are weaklings. I spied on him and his men last night, they're all weak compared to us. We are shinobis, ninjas, we are properly trained. Gato is nothing but an insect to us."

"We stand a chance but you never will because you are weak. You never thought about getting stronger and look at you lot now. The strong will always rule over the weak, remember that." I said.

He was frozen in fear and he couldn't speak.

I put the blade away and the pressure in the air disappeared.

"I-is that true?" asked Inari.

"Unfortunately, yes." said Kakashi.

Then he proceeded to run upstairs with tears flowing down his cheeks.

"You didn't have to do that Mira." said Kakashi.

"I didn't but I did. It's just reality of the world we live in, the strong will always overpower the weak."

"It's just how it is." I said disappearing with a poof.

I laid on the branch thinking about what I said.

That night, red eyes with a strange pattern was staring at Gato with excitement.

"I can't wait to kill you all."

.

.

Soon enough, it was the morning and I haven't slept one bit.

I was too busy spy- watching Gato's movements. He's probably going to send out Zabuza and Haku today.

"Yo!" I said jumping off the branch appearing in front of them.

"Mira." said Kakashi.

"Why don't you let Sakura stay here just in case someone tries to attack the house?" I suggested.

"That's true, Sakura would you mind staying?" asked Kakashi.

"Fine." whined Sakura.

Don't whine, you're too weak.

Let's just hope she's able to defend.

Oops, we left Naruto behind, well Sakura is with him so he wouldn't complain.

By the time we arrived, the workers were already knocked out.

"I guess it's already started." I muttered.
