Skill books
Skill books were classed as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Ancient and Mythical
Skill books were created by Mystics and Shamans. However, the most powerful skill books came from Dungeons.
There were some Reusable Skill books in the Library that Aryan Looked at
Blacksmith Skill book
Tailor Skill book
Enchanter Skill book
Reading the books, Aryan heard a Notification
Host learnt Tailoring - lv 1, Smithing - lv 1 and Enchanter - lv 1
Useful. now, all he needed was to start crafting and raise some levels.
He just wanted a carefree life with his cute little slime buddy
I asked the guards I asked if I was allowed to bring Guubo into the town and buildings, and they said yes as long as its a Tamed
Slimes were seen as incredibly weak and nobody wanted to tame them. Poor geezers don't know the potential of one
Going to the "Guild" The most powerful organisation in the world, He went to the butcher section to sell the rabbit skins and Horns
"Rabbit skins are 15 Les and Horns are 30 Les" The butcher muttered
selling 15 Skins and 15 Horns,
Aryan got 675 Les, which wasn't a lot
1 Les was equal to 1p, So if this was in the modern world it would be £6.75
($9.53 if you're an American frog. British gang, wya?)
100 Les makes a rod. It would normally take 30 Rods for one night in an inn (3,000 less)
There were 2 options, which was the forest or the slums
Aryan picked the forest.
But first, he decided to buy one kg of Lead to Tinker with
(2.2 pounds for those frogs out there)
He also brought a cheap Cauldron and a Hammer, and a dagger cast
Now, he would normally have a hard time getting up the hill with the load he got, but he had a trusty friend called Guubo with his Inner storage
Why did he say him? do slimes even have genders?
"Hey Guubo, are you a boy or girl?"
This caused a Female sign to come out of Guubo's Head
Looking at Guubo's Status is had a gender that was Female. The system updated Guubo status huh
Making a camp fast due to his Camping Skill, He Set up The cauldron above the Fire and put the lead in
An hour later
The Metal has become liquid, Perfect for Aryan to pour into the Mold
Now, he needs to wait for it to cool while he creates a shaft and handles for the dagger he will make
Collecting some wood courtesy of Guubo, Aryan used his Carving skills to carve out a hand that looked like a ✟
2 hours later
After making sure the metal has cooled, He collected the blade-shaped metal and screwed the handle on it
Ding!
You crafted Dagger! (Good quality)
+6 Damage
System note: Just a dagger of a beginner, what do you expect?
Forging has reached level 2!
Forging has reached level 3!
Forging has reached level 4!
Forging has reached level 5
Crafting reached level 7!
Carving reached level 5!
"Nice," Aryan said looking at the dagger. This could go for 2000 Les (20 rods)
This then could be sold for more materials to make more Daggers at higher skill due to forging levelling up. OOOOOOOOOOOOH just you love the smell of capitalism in the morning?
Going back to town, Aryan went to the Guild to sell the dagger he made
"2,169 Les for this dagger. Agree?" The cashier said, not giving any room for negotiation
"That's fine thank you," Aryan said with a smile, happily collecting his money
This time, He brought 3 Kg of Alliminum and a furnace, which was a big upgrade to the pot he brought. With a hum , he went back to him campfire
(≧▽≦)
1les is 6.75 or 9.53. 100les in a rod, and 30rod for an inn
so a night in an inn in this world is 20,250 British, or 28,590 American is it
"Nice," Aryan said looking at the dagger. This could go for 2000 Les (20 rods)
How does he determine its worth? What if the dagger is much lower quality than anything else in the city? Surely a basic apprentice could make something even better since they have proper equipment compared to the mc.
I mention In a later chapter that skills install feelings and intuition.
Plus , he went to the libary
@Duckchaser1 library shouldn't have the local market prices of weapons. Unless the world operates on some system driven price system
@drakensji well it's a system world...... What do you expect? Doesn't sound bizarre compared to big ass Mantis with blade hands
Who are you to know that
@Duckchaser1 ok, fair point. But my common sense tells me that something as malleable and prone to change as the local prices shouldn't be written in a book. Unless its recording the past prices, in which case the current prices may be completely different
@drakensji Didn't I say that skills implant knowledge? May be the smithing skill telling Aryan the price
@Duckchaser1 i would reccomend that he just looked at what was being sold and figured he could sell his stuff of similar quality. Knowing prices feels like something for a merchant. Though i suppose you can consider crafters a subcategory of merchants in terms of buying and selling
