"Miss Planner, your interview is here!" said Milly, opening the door to her boss's office.
"Please, send him in."

Miss Planner was sitting comfortably at her old-fashioned wooden desk at the North Grandebelle Notary, and her faithful assistant Black Wolf was sitting right next to her. She was wearing a black suit, a comfortable white blouse, and a red necktie. Black Wolf was wearing a dark gray business suit with a tie matching his employer's. He hated dressing up, but he knew that Miss Planner wanted him to look nice and professional today.

"Hello, Michael," said Miss Planner, smiling politely as she stood up from behind her large oak desk. "Thank you for coming to speak with me today."

Michael was nervous and excited. He had been waiting with bated breath ever since Miss Planner spoke with him a few days ago and asked him to come in for an interview. The young homeless man was wearing his best clothes, a terribly worn blue button down shirt and an equally tattered pair of jeans that he found while scavenging the streets. He walked into the room with a nervous smile on his face.

"I'm happy to be here, Miss Planner. I can't express how grateful I am to you."
Michael smiled nervously, but he wasn't lying. In fact, he was being completely honest. He wanted nothing more than to get off the streets and live a normal working life, and the opportunity to meet with Miss Planner was like something out of a fairy tale.

"I've heard a lot about you, Michael. The Sage of Destruction made sure to let us know how highly he thinks of you, and we're very impressed with your progress."
Michael nodded, not trusting himself to speak.

"You don't have anything to be ashamed of, Michael. I can tell you're a good person deep down inside. That is why you were able to change your life and become the man you are now. You are a strong individual, and the world needs more people like you."

Michael looked into the eyes of the beautiful Miss Planner, and he felt his heart melt. He was overwhelmed with emotion.
"Thank you for saying that, Miss Planner. It means a lot to me."
The young man's voice cracked slightly, but he managed to keep his composure. Black Wolf grunted.

"It's time to begin the interview. Please, take a seat. We'll start by discussing your background, then move on to some questions regarding your career goals."
Michael sat down in the chair across from her desk.

"I understand you haven't worked before. Is that correct?" asked Miss Planner.

"Yes, ma'am. I'm homeless, and I never had the chance to go to school. So, yes, I've never had a job. But I'm willing to do anything to help my family. If you're okay with hiring me, I could start with the lowest position possible. Like a janitor or something. I'd work hard every day, and if you give me a chance, I promise you that you won't regret it."

Michael was desperate. Black Wolf sighed, but Miss Planner used to this sort of thing.

"I see," said Miss Planner. "Let's discuss the position I had in mind for you. To start off, I want to let you know that I think you have great potential in our organization. I don't want you to waste your talents on menial tasks. Instead, I would like to offer you a much more challenging position in our recruitment division."

"Recruitment? As in finding new employees for the company?"

Miss Planner nodded.

"That's right, Michael. In order to expand and grow at a rapid pace, we need to hire many talented people who can contribute to our success. Our current team has been working very hard to find candidates, but it's taking longer than expected. I was hoping that you might be able to speed up the process. We're looking for more people like you, people who want to make a positive change in the world, and we aren't concerned with people's pasts. All of us here are trying to better ourselves and the lives of those around us. Michael, you've already proven that you can succeed at anything you put your mind to. This will just be another challenge for you."

Michael was trembling. He was overjoyed that she wanted him on her staff, and he couldn't believe how lucky he was.

"I'm ready to accept the position, Miss Planner! I can't wait to get started!"
"That's wonderful news, Michael! In fact, you're hired. We just have a few more details to hash out before I can let you go, okay?"

There was a knock at the door.

"Miss Planner, your next interview is here!"
"Thank you, Milly. You can let him know we'll be ready in a few minutes."
"Yes, Miss Planner."

Michael looked at the door nervously. He knew he shouldn't be nervous, but it was hard to settle down when he had so much to look forward to.

"Michael, I'd like to discuss what the Chosen Ones can do to help you. We're a people-first organization, and I think you could be a real success story for us. Your unique life experience means you have a lot to offer, and I want you to be happy."

"Thank you, Miss Planner."
Michael smiled. He was relieved that Miss Planner seemed to like him.

"There are a few things I want to cover before you officially join us. Let's start with your living arrangements."

"I don't mind staying in a hotel or something. It'll probably take me some time to save enough money to rent an apartment, though. Do you have any suggestions?"

"We can handle that part, Michael. I want to put you in one of the condominiums at the Tower of the Chosen. The Tower has a great view of the city, and all the amenities you could ask for. We've got a lot of empty rooms, and your whole family can stay with you, too. I'm sure you're going to love it."

Michael was stunned. He hadn't expected this. He wasn't even really expecting to be given a job. The young man had been worried about his future, and he never imagined that his future would involve living in an expensive luxury building.

"I don't really need you to give me a place to live, ma'am. I mean... I appreciate the thought..."
Miss Planner laughed. She was enjoying the moment.

"Please, Michael. The Tower is where you belong. I want to make your home life as comfortable and easy as possible so you can give us the best results possible. I'm confident that you can make it worth our while."

"Yes, Miss Planner. Thank you for everything. I promise you, I won't disappoint you. I'll work hard every day and try my hardest to be the best employee I can be. If you don't think I can do it, then you can fire me whenever you like."

"I have no doubt in your abilities, Michael. I believe in you. I know you can succeed. By the way, the Sage of Destruction is staying in the Tower, too. I'm sure he'd love to spend more time with his favorite Follower. He expects great things of you, and I hope you'll make him proud."

Michael's heart skipped a beat at the mention of the mysterious Sage who helped him turn his life around.
