Apparently (according to my girlfriend) my Phoenix rising against the backdrop of the sun completely resembles the hunger games mocking Jay symbol so now i need to think of a new one. That said if you have any ideas let me know. Either way don't be surprised that it changes

Since the character already has ties to druidic and Germanic symbolism look for new interpretations of the tree of life. Her tattoo is a tree, and a tree of life worked into her symbol would be consistent. Conversely a Celtic triscelion has been used to symbolize mind, body, and spirit the 3 parts of life.
Just angel wings in a sun/halo?

@Deathangel Personally I like simpler symbology, fewer symbols is better. The Ankh idea I just posted is good too.

Totally agree it's too similar. Remember she started out as an angel. So originally I had thought a stylized angel in the center would be better. You know like a circle for a head, a bell shape for a body that represents a dress and the wings essentially look like three feathers on each side. None of the features need to be connected. The feathers aren't feather looking but like a thick line with the ends rounded (similar to a pilots emblem, google search pilots emblem). Probably not describing it well maybe I can find something on the net.
Alternatively just a halo and wings. Do a google search on angel emblem and look at the images. Keep it simple as Alice isn't an artist.

Here's another one: she's a goddess of life, yes? She could co-opt a life symbol from Earth she's familiar with, like the Ankh.
