Something I've noticed is that the more words she uses, the more she likely thinks about it. I have mixed feelings about being lower than the airship.

Unfortunately, this story will be going on indefinite hiatus. There are some reasons, so I will go through them now.

Firstly, I will be having some exams at the end of this month and for the first two or so weeks after that, and so I'll be dedicating my remaining time to studying, which means I won't be able to focus on writing.

Secondly, after the exams, I don't actually know if I'll return to this series. There are some things that I've realised with this story. One thing is that tables are one huge hassle. I really hate tables. I despise them. Honestly, I'd be willing to drop this series if it meant no more tables. Another thing I've noticed is that I have no idea how many Masks there should be. It's got me thinking about the complexity of humans and stuff like that. How many Masks makes a person? Too little and that's unrealistic, too many and that's a bloated character cast and also unrealistic. I don't know where the cutoff point would be. Basically put, my lack of planning has led to this story being harder to write than it should have been, and my lazy personality means it's become a hassle and I want to run away.

The last reason is that I actually have a different story idea that I honestly want to write more about than this one. Not only would it not have tables, but it's also a simpler story that I won't have to think as much I did for this series, which was already rather simple. It turns out I'm terrible at thinking. I do enjoy writing this story, but the parts I dislike, I dislike heavily. I really hate tables, and the other story idea I have just seems more fun to write.

Don't worry though, for those who do like this series. There is a part of me that wants to see this finish, but I don't think current me can finish it, so it'll have to wait. Either that or I win the lottery and hire a ghostwriter. But yeah, this story is going on hiatus. I'd like to apologize for that, and thanks for reading. I'm surprised I even got past ten readers, so thanks.
