"If you don't have any question, I'm going to start your training. Here"

She threw him the katana he used against the knights yesterday, he caught it with ease

"Don't expect me to go easy on you, got that?"

"Hah, I won't have it any other way"

 

Saruhiko unsheathes his blade and reinforces it with water magic, Estel charged straight towards Saruhiko with her one-handed sword

"ugh!"

He felt as if a truck hit him

"Don't take this the wrong way, Saru. Our combat style is fundamentally different so I got nothing to teach you. The only thing I can do is..."

Her power suddenly grew stronger than before

"BEATING THE HELL OUT OF YOU UNTIL YOU LEARN!"

Estel overpowers Saruhiko, pushing him back with her raw strength

"Whats wrong? I haven't even started to use magic yet!"

"Don't you get cocky now!"

The mana surrounding him intensifies as he jumps high into the air

"Cutting Torrents!"

"Finally getting serious huh?"

She smirks 

"Then I'll gladly return the favor!"

Estel coats her blade with blazing hot flames, countering his [Cutting Torrents] with a strike of her blade

Using immense water pressure as jets under his feet, Saruhiko propels himself towards her. Their blades clash once again

"Hey, why aren't you using your hypnosis?! You won't win if you don't use all the skills at your disposal!"

"Relying on tricks like these will only hinder my training! Besides, it'll feel more satisfying if I defeat you in your own forte!"

Estel's chuckle broke into a full laughter

"You really are something else, Saru"

She overpowers Saruhiko once again, pushing him to the edge of the training ground

"Behold!!"

The mana in the surrounding areas starts to fluctuate

 

"Better strike when I still have a chance" He thought to himself

"O serpent of divine who defied the will of God,

unleash your wrath upon this world once more!

Leviathan's Roar!"

A colossal serpent made entirely of water roared and opens its mouth, ready to swallow Estel whole.

 

"Burn thy sinners to ashes,

Execution Prominence!"

 

With a swing of her blade, Estel generated a pillar of flames to cancel out his [Leviathan's Roar] and still managed to injure him 

When the dust clears, Saruhiko is sitting on the ground breathless and with a visible burn mark on his chest 

"I'm impressed you held out this long. Heal"

A green light covered his wounds as it heals completely

"You even know healing magic?"

"Learned a little back in Elenor. Anyways, since you are healed up....100 pushups! Now!"

"Huh?"

"I said NOW!!!"

For two days and 2 nights, Estel made Saruhiko go through hell.

At first, she made him do planks for 2 hours straight. If he loses balance, he has to start over. She then made him balance himself on top of the highest point of the castle for an hour despite his objections.

Thats not even the worst of it, her real training made him push his body to the brink of death and was only saved by her healing magic. 

 

She tossed him onto his bed

"Get some rest while you can, your mission begins tonight"

Estel slams the door shut as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep

 

After 12 hours of sleep, a few maids came and woke him up.

"Mr. Himejima, it is time for you to wake up"

"*yawns* Alright alright, got it- huh?"

 

 

"Her majesty wanted to give you these"

The maids brought over a cart carrying a jet black, intricately-made katana with scaly along with a black demon army uniform with Lillian's crest engraved on it.

He slowly unsheathes the sword, revealing a blade with the lightest shade of blue

The sword shines bright blue, illuminating the entire room

"Oy...."

Saruhiko releases his magic

"Settle down, will ya?"

A needle of some sort popped out of the weapon's hilt and obtained a sample of his blood

 

"Hah! This blade is practically tailor-made for me!" He thought to himself

"Is the weapon to your liking?"

"Very much so, where did her majesty get her hands on this?"

"It was obtained when her majesty destroyed a secluded demi-human village that was resisting her dominion over them. The sword was said to be crafted out of the scales of a leviathan mixed with the finest mythrils from their mines"

"A leviathan....huh?"

Saruhiko smirks and puts his uniform on.

"Can't wait to fight one myself someday"

 

As he was heading out of the castle walls, he saw Lillian, the demon lord herself, covered in a black cape, waiting for him right outside the gate

"Don't you have better things to do than....you know....waiting here?"

"Hey, I'm actually worried about you here." She giggles "Besides, I would be a mockery to the other demon lords if I let my own summoned one die in less than a week!"

"Do you actually think I'm going to fail this mission? Honestly, you are underestimating my abilities quite a bit"

"As one of my future generals, I can't help but worry for your well-being. Do your best out there" Lillian waved her hands as she walks back to the castle

"And don't you dare die on me!"

He scoffed and started his journey towards Elenor 

 

The whole trip took 6 hours, he managed to cut the journey short by riding on a massive bird using his water magic. 

Saruhiko can be seen balancing himself on top of the tallest building in Oronoris, assassin's creed style, he made himself invisible to others using [Absolute Hypnosis]

"Lets see how the elves can do against me if the very thing they treasure the most is stripped away from them"

A dark-violet magic circle covers the entirety of Oronoris

 

"Oh omnipotent god of the abyss"

 

"W-what the hell is happening?!"

"Are we under attack?!"

The citizens starts to panic

 

 "strip them of their heretical powers."

 

As the spell becomes more and more complete, a few intermediate mages amongst the elves realized what was going on

"GET OUT OF THE MAGIC CIRCLE! NOW!!!!"

However, it was too late

 

"Anti-Magic Zone"

 

A violet dome of abyss magic towers over Oronoris. The elves suddenly felt as if something was stripped away from them, causing some of them to almost collapse from it.

As the name implies, [Anti-Magic Zone] is an AoE type Abyss Magic that nullifies mana in the surrounding area, rendering mages and magic-based fighters powerless. However, if someone more powerful than the caster is within it, the spell will only weaken them.

Upon seeing most of the elves were rendered powerless, Saruhiko unsheathes the [Kubikiri Orochi] and jumps down from the building
