The matter about the youngest miss of the Jangs resurrecting back to life was kept in tight wraps. Luckily, no one outside of the sixth mansion knew about her death in the first place—and it shall remain that way.

Hideon arrived at the dining hall with said sister in tow for breakfast.

"Ah, they're finally here." Their eldest sister, sister Freya, gushed, and everyone immediately turned their heads to look at the two youngest children of the family.

The two were dressed in a formal manner belonging to noble kids, but instead of giving off a royal feeling, the two only looked adorable to their siblings' eyes, especially after seeing them in matching green-red bows around their collars.

They sat at the furthest right of the long dining table, right next to one of their big brothers, Mandu.

A maid servant naturally went beside Nayun to help her eat, but was immediately dismissed by the azure-haired boy.

"I can feed her myself."

"Young master, how are you going to feed yourself?"

"..."

"Just feed Hideon instead, he's got his hands full with his sister." Mandu laughs.

Hideon's face flushed in embarrassment, but did not say anything to refute his older brother. It doesn't matter much anyway—at least he's the one spoonfeeding Nayun.

While their siblings were pleased over the fact that the two were closer than ever, they could not help but feel a little sour in their hearts.

Hideon has been like this ever since Nayun came back to life. He refuses to leave her side, will cry when she's pried away from his sight, and throws a tantrum when a Yothagou other than his approaches the frail girl.

Even if they pretend that nothing happened two months ago, they couldn't simply do so. Especially not when Hideon is acting like this, even Nayun acted differently.

Before the incident, Nayun was a child akin to a rascal—having no fear for repercussions, always making trouble and bothering whoever she comes across to in the property. There was no need for her to refrain from being explosively energetic, since she's the youngest and was too endearing to discipline.

But now, the little girl seemed to grow overnight. She no longer made a fuss and preferred to be quiet and locked up in her room. The blank expression she often had on her face was starting to become unnerving.

Not to mention the fact that she doesn't remember them at all. Not even their father himself.

Nobody knows how the skin and bone mended back together. Until now, her body regaining vitality—and without a scratch—was still a great mystery to everyone.

Not only did she survive her neck being slit open, she even healed fully in just a short amount of time.

They could only assume that someone else was present, someone with the forbidden ability.

Forbidden ability users.

Those who have the power to manipulate people's memories, control them against their will, and worst of all—raise someone back from the dead. Abilities that directly oppose Gods' will, and will forever be an enemy to the holy power.

Not much else is known about them, since before this event, forbidden ability users remained as a legend, ones that have been said to be defeated by the God of beginnings, Adera.

But why would a forbidden ability user save a daughter of a God?

They could only speculate for a while and then leave it alone, since they could be wrong.

Little did they know, the forbidden ability users have nothing to do with Nayun resurrecting. The sister they knew was already dead. The one inhabiting the empty shell of her body was another soul belonging to another world, that of a 16-year-old Kayun Lee who had just died from leukemia.

The truth behind the child having an expressionless face most of the time was that she was always in deep thought.

When she first came to, she was almost cremated to ashes after all.

It was only then did she realize that this body of hers was supposed to be dead. Gone are the days of doubt on whether her brain's making up delusions or not, this[life] has been going on for two excruciatingly long months now.

As she opened her mouth for the spoon offered in front of her, Yun couldn't help but frown.

I have so many brothers and sisters. But never did I meet any of our mothers.

So far, she had met 38 sisters and 23 brothers, totaling to 61 siblings. It wasn't just that, she heard from a servant maid that they are children living on the sixth mansion, and there are more living on the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth.

As she was reincarnated to another world, she understands that there would be differences in the culture and beliefs that she was used to. Even though she was dying to know the answer to this question regarding her birth mother in this world, she refrained herself from asking.

Who knows whether the concept of giving birth through mothers existed in this world. For all she knows, they could've all been sprouted from a tree or something. She was still a child, but there's always a limit to a 6-year-old child's imagination. She doesn't want to appear more suspicious than she already is.

"The lord is going to arrive soon." A servant maid informed them, and immediately everyone in the table made themselves more presentable and stood straight. Even Hideon tried to fix his messy hair with his velvet beret.

The big wooden doors opened, and stood in the middle was a man wearing white robes, looking as majestic as ever.

Hibis... their father...

"Children, no need to stand up." His voice called, echoing around the dining hall, and once again vibrated through Yun's chest. She couldn't help but look down at her small feet.

She had only seen him thrice. The first was when she first arrived in this world. The second was when she was brought to the "doctors" where each were left stunned at her pristine condition, and the third was when he specifically entered her room and spent an entire hour playing with her.

This was the fourth, but she was still unnerved by him.

Maybe it was because of his non-human beauty, but it was also the fact that he was the father to all the children in this mansion.

She couldn't help but think of sister Freya, who's 78 years old and has her grandchildren come over sometimes to play with her and Hideon.

You mean to tell me, a lady that could easily pass as father's grandmother... was actually father's blood daughter?

It's indeed a bit too much having an immortal god for a father.

Hibis' eyes scanned the room. Even though the youngest was far from where he was standing, he was still able to spot her and transport immediately beside her.

"Nayun."

"Father." she looked up at him with those glassy round eyes, and he couldn't help but lightly pinch the soft flesh on her cheek.

It gave him the familiar warm feeling, and he couldn't help but be pleased again.

"How are you feeling?"

"Fine." Yun doesn't know the extent of Nayun's vocabulary, so she opted to converse in shorter words. It was a good thing it worked out for her since they all just assumed she lost her memories because of the trauma from being almost killed.

Hibis gave her a smile, so soft as if it were a feather that lightly tickles her heart. What divine beauty.

"Eat well, because we're going somewhere later."

Yun's imaginary dog ears perked up. Going outside?

If it was somewhere out of the mansion and farther than the property, of course it interests her! Because she had never been out, she spends most of her days thinking about this world and what it has. Is the world she reincarnated to set in the future? Perhaps in another version of earth? Or are they in a different planet?

Are there other gods with thousands of children? Are there other people besides them who has magical abilities? Does everyone get along peacefully?

She wants to explore. She wants to learn. She wants to know.

This is a whole new world for her to map out—as if she was really living in an exciting fantasy novel.

"Brother, feed fast!" She commanded Hideon in a milky voice, and bystanders could only laugh at this small tyrant. Naturally, Hideon complies with a giggle.

•••

"Father, where is Hideon?"

Hibis looked at the child sitting inside the carriage, before going in himself with a smile.

"I put him to sleep."

"Oh." Yun figured. If Hideon was awake, he won't stand still and will definitely insist to accompany them on their short trip.

The were not much words uttered throughout the journey. Hibis faintly watched over the girl beside him who has her eyes tightly glued outside the carriage window.

Yun couldn't believe it. They were actually flying.

She doesn't know what makes this carriage advance, since there's no horses pulling it on the front. As she looked on outside, vibrant colours greeted her vision.

The heavens were initially blue, but as they progressed and got farther away from the mansion, it turned into a shade of light purple, and glowing clouds started to frequent the sky.

She also couldn't help but gawk at the scene on the sides. There were other carriages flying just like theirs! She almost thought she was back on the ground, with the usual busy traffic.

Are you serious right now?

"Father, what if I fall?" They were at a really high altitude after all. Just in case the door was broken, she wanted to know whether she could be saved by him or not.

Hibis laughed, finding her question funny. And then answered naturally. "Then you come back up."

Yun frowns as she turned to look at him. "How?"

"What, don't tell me you already forgot how to fly?"

"..." She doesn't even know that she's capable of flight in the first place.

Noting her silence, the man's handsome face turned serious. "It seems like you did."

Yun could only look down at her lap, too ashamed to stare back at his eyes. Can she be blamed? Even on her last life, she almost forgot how to walk.

Strong arms suddenly pulled her closer to Hibis' chest. Hibis could only hold his daughter to comfort her.

"You do not have to worry. Naturally, your father knows how to fix this."

It is probably because of the loss of her Yothagou.

Even though flying was one of the most basic magical ability a Jang could have, he had forgetten the fact that it still required mana.

Hibis thought about the message he had received this morning. Four masterless Yothagou.

May his child pick one that shall benefit, and not harm.

As his expression darkened, Yun felt a chill down her spine and couldn't help but tremble.
