With a sudden jolt, Angelica’s ship finally settled after an extremely unusual amount of turbulence. Taking a second to gather her bearings, Angelica looked around, and her face expressed her shock at what she saw.

“Report.” She ordered while going through her console.

“The engines experienced a power surge. Our current location should be far off course. Somehow, we ended up jumping into a planet’s atmosphere. Planet topography does not match any in our database.”

“SRIN still operating, but not active. The behavior is the same on record when they no longer receive a signal from the Mother SRIN.”

“Engines are currently disabled. It will take about half an hour for repairs.”

“No match in the star chart for location. None of the normal signals are available. We seem to be in a completely uncharted territory of space.”

As the reports came in, Angelica’s mood sank further and further. Under other circumstances, she might even find herself excited at the possibility of a new discovery. This time, it was different. Her mother was in danger. She regretted being estranged from her mother for all these years. Each report made it sound more like they were utterly lost. They couldn’t reach their military support, go back to help her mother, or even message for help. In the vastness of space, being slightly off trajectory would mean a massive deviation, much less when you had no idea where to go.

Angelica gritted her teeth. “Give me a report on the planet... Report!”

“Sorry Princess, the computer has been acting a little strange last couple minutes. Numerous Level I and Level II life forms detected. A large amount of Level III with a minimal amount of Level IV with the possibility of Level V and above detected.”

When Angelica heard this, she nearly broke out into a cold sweat. Anything above Level III meant that it would be an intelligent race with massive amounts of power, something only recently discovered within her known universe.

“What’s their technology level?” She asked.

“Primitive, mostly. There are a few places with unidentified advanced technology, one of them being relatively close.”

“Princess, I advise we move the ship as soon as possible as we are over indigenous cities and have already caused damage with ship debris.”

Angelica nodded and was about to give the order when the ship suddenly lurched. “I didn’t give the order yet!”

“Princess, the autopilot just engaged on its own.”

“That’s impossible without an input. Are you saying it wasn’t yours?”

The crew member was just about to reply when a purple flash suddenly occurred on deck. “No, it was mine.” The masked figure who suddenly appeared said nonchalantly.

Marty, who had just appeared, was suddenly welcome to the site of a large number of plasma pistol barrels, noticeably two from the Princess. Marty reached up and pressed his temple through his mask. “Can we not do this so aggressively? I have a splitting headache.”

“So long as you surrender yourself without a fight,” Angelica replied.

“I don’t think surrender is necessary, especially when it’s still unclear as to who would be surrendering.”

Angelica was about to retort but suddenly froze when numerous compartments suddenly opened, and the emerging turret defense aimed at the crew. A couple of seconds later, and they disappeared back into their compartments.

“Now, can we talk like civilized beings? I mean no harm.”

Angelica focused her full attention on him for a couple of seconds. “Stand down.” She said with which the crew obliged, though they seemed very wary and reluctant.

“Not that I mind being the center of attention of so many women, but this isn’t the time. (Bad joke to ease the tension.) “

Nearly all of the crew gave him a glare, including Angelica, but her glare strangely relaxed as if something had changed her mind.

“Forgive our impoliteness. Could you tell us where we are?” She asked politely.

“This planet is called Earth. Unfortunately, no matter how far you travel in any direction, you will never be able to go back by standard means.”

Angelica’s eyes widened in fear as she seemed to confirm what he was saying before she calmed down with only a slight tremor in her voice. “Do you know any nonstandard means?”

“The reason why you came here is due to the massive energy spike introduced on your engines at the point of the jump. Typically, these engines warp space, but this time they warped spacetime. As a result, you ended up in a completely different space that was not directly connected. You have two methods to get back.

“The first method is to re-create what happened with the engines the first time. This isn’t guaranteed to work without proper testing, which will not be available without your facilities.”

Marty had infiltrated the computer on the ship with his mind. Being a science vessel, the ship had an extensive database on research and development, which was now all inside Marty’s head. The only downside was a slight headache he was currently experiencing that would eventually pass. As such, he had an extreme understanding of what had recently occurred though it would take hours if not days to go through all of the information he now possessed.

Angelica, also knowing the improbability of this option given their current state, looked at him carefully. “The second option?”

“I take you there directly,” Marty said with a slight smile visible through his mask.

“You? How?”

“Same way as to how I got on the ship,” Marty said with a smile. A magic circle suddenly appeared under him, and he appeared next to her, which caused the crew to draw their weapons again. “Magic.” He continued seemingly unfazed.

Angelica, startled for a moment, gave a signal for the crew to lower their weapons, which they did. “Magic… Does such a thing exist?”

“It does, you may not be able to access it within your reality.”

“When can we leave?” Angelica asked, suddenly becoming impatient.

A strange smile suddenly appeared on Marty’s lips. “What’s in it for me?”

Angelica was startled for a second. “What do you want?”

“Well, doesn’t the Princess rewarded the handsome knight with a kiss for his good deeds? I’ll take that. (Just a joke, a ‘please’ is more than enough.)”

This time, noticeable anger appeared on Angelica’s face. She was about to say something but paused momentarily as some of the anger left her face. “This is why males are so…” She mumbled to herself.

“What was that?” Marty asked.

“Please.” She mumbled.

“You’re going to have to speak up,” Marty replied, not teasing here but honestly having a hard time hearing what she was saying.

“Please take me back.” She said as she bowed. The crew, slightly terrified at her action, followed suit.

Marty was also surprised by her action. He figured she was a very proud person and unwilling to take such a submissive stance towards him, especially with her comment towards ‘males.’ He hadn’t given it much thought when he started his bad habit of ‘flirting’ as he was in an excellent mood due to recent events. “Good enough.” He replied.

“When can you take us?” Angelica asked relaxing, but seemingly not surprised that he had accepted.

“I’d like to take you immediately, but…” Marty trailed off as he looked back down to the city below whether or noticeable amounts of damage, destruction, and looting was going on.

“Is that because of us?” Angelica asked with a hint of concern and guilt.

“Indirectly. You’re nothing more than a trigger that a bunch of clumsy mischief-doers was waiting for. Sorry, but I have to take care of them. There are people I want to protect.”

Angelica what was about to say something, but she hesitated before she nodded.

“I’ll be back when I’m done,” Marty said before he disappeared with a flash of purple.

< “Kuromi, has your Gentle Fist reached a high enough proficiency to knock out people?”> Miyuki asked through the communication device. Her breath was slightly fast, her clothes were in slight disarray, and her white katana had a small amount of red ice on it.

<Yes, mistress, I->

< “KU-RO-MI, I keep telling you not to call me mistress. If you are going to call me by something other than my name, call me Onee-Sama, like Yutsuki.”>

<...Yes, Onee-Sama.>

Miyuki looked at the partially frozen person who was whimpering at her feet before she switched her communication device to speak to everyone. <Listen up everyone. If you encounter anyone that’s hostile, try to take them out nonlethally but ensure you make your safety a priority. If Anna or I give you an order, you are to follow it. Am I understood?”> Miyuki said with a tone that was not of a normal young lady but of someone who commanded many to battle before.

<Yes.>

<Understood.>

<Got it.>

Numerous responses came in.

A slight smile appeared on Miyuki’s lips. < “I told Marty of the situation a minute ago. Let’s make him proud.”> She said with several enthusiastic responses coming back. But there was one that was not enthusiastic.

<Help. Help.> Morgan’s tearful voice came through the device.

< “What’s wrong?”> Miyuki asked.

< It’s Freyja. She, She,>

“These stupid Hero and Villain Associations,” Marty said under his breath.

Taking advantage of the panic that occurred with the sudden appearance of the spaceship, the Villain Association had suddenly sprung into action. It was clear now that they had two or three-person cells within the city that were available within a moment’s notice. Thus far, it had been almost entirely looting. When Marty had taken down the 12th villain, he noticed a complete absence of killing and rape. Their primary goal seemed to be causing mayhem. The looting was just a byproduct of the villains taking advantage of the situation. It bugged him so much that he pushed through his headache and forced his mind into the villain he just apprehended.

Marty hated doing this. He felt it was an invasion of privacy that could only be infringed upon in extreme situations. However, the situation was extreme and strange enough to warrant him using it. He didn’t pry into the person’s past, but the last 30 minutes. There, he found the memory that he wanted. They had received an order from their contact to create mayhem. They had also been advised not to commit any extreme crimes like rape and murder because there was a decent chance they would get caught. So long as they did nothing worse than looting, they wouldn’t have to worry too much about incarceration. At the very least, it wouldn’t be very long, and they would be paid for their work. However, those who had no qualms about being caught had nothing to stop them from committing heinous acts.

The fact that the purpose was to create mayhem bothered Marty is because the heroes were unwittingly helping them further their cause. They were not very good at controlling their abilities, causing a decent amount of damage themselves. Marty felt as if someone controlling this whole situation with some goal. However, this wasn’t the time to contemplate who and why.

The next half hour, Marty went around subduing villains. To maximize efficiency, he used Ki to fly. However, to avoid possible recognition, he used Blue Ki, which was the most common, and he changed the shape of his wings to something closer to a bat. He even subtly changed his fighting style towards martial art styles he was not known to use.

The police were shocked when he came flying and carrying two people by the scruff of the neck. They asked for identification but backed off when they felt something that no ordinary police officer would feel, killing intent. The police became dumbfounded when he delivered more and more knocked-out criminals. The workers at SUEMA soon began to panic because the number of Villains he was bringing in was beyond their capacity to arrest safely. Some Heroes were called to ensure the safety of the area. Soon, everyone became numb when the number exceeded 100, much less that it occurred in just under an hour.

<Onii-sama, can you help?> A slightly panicked Yutsuki voice came over the communication device.

< “Yutsuki, what’s wrong?”> Marty replied as he kicked the back of the head of a villain knocking him out.

<Otou-Sama is in trouble.>

< “Is this also happening in Japan?”>

<Yes, Master. This one has received reports of this is occurring across the world in well-populated areas, most predominantly in those with a Hero Association,> Anna replied as she was monitoring all the communications.

< “Still, aren’t most of these guys small fry? Not a single one of these people are above Rank C.”>

<Master, this one has been receiving reports of Rank 10 Ki users as well as fully armed assailants at her father’s company. This is most likely an attempt to steal weapon research his company is involved in.>

<I see. Yutsuki, is your father asking me for help?>

<Eh? No, he just called to make sure I was all right.>

< “So are you asking me to help him?”>

<Please, Onii-sama.>

<All right, I’ll do it if you kiss me.>

<K-K-K-Kissu? H-H-Hontoni?> A slightly panicked Yutsuki said as she noticeably stopped speaking English.

Marty smiled as he wished he could see her expression.< “Yutsuki, why are you getting so flustered? You’ve kissed my cheek before. Are you thinking something naughty?”>

<...>

<Yutsuki?>

<Onii-sama, kono baka hentai. *click*>

“Did my Yutsuki just call me a stupid pervert?” Marty mumbled to himself, surprised and amused by her reaction.

As he carried his two new ‘victims,’ Marty addressed his situation. He had already used Dimension Door once today and would need to create a massive one to get the spaceship out. Marty wanted to do this quickly as possible because it appeared as though Angelica was in a hurry. He additionally didn’t want to give any national leaders time to react and attempt to obtain advanced technology that could break the balance of the world.

Luckily, Marty had already tested the limits of his space magic and knew that he could travel across the world so long as he had the proper coordinates. Longer travel meant more mana as well as a longer casting time, which made it impractical for battle, but a godsend for quick travel. He didn’t know exactly how much mana he had, but he could roughly ballpark how many times he could use it. After he dropped off the two villains, he created a magic circle based on the information he had taken from Anna and disappeared to the other side of the world.

Yutsuki’s father was currently in a secured room within his company, where all the data and backups were kept off the grid as a security measure. His company dealt with newer technologies, including those derived from other worlds. This also included weapons, which was most likely the goal of the invaders that were blasting their way through.

In his hand was his phone that he had been tightly squeezing after he hung up with Yutsuki. He realized that this might’ve been their last conversation, and he was happy she was not here. If there was anyone in the world he could trust her safety with, it was Marty as he had already proven he’d take a bullet for her. Initially, he wouldn’t have minded if Marty had pursued her, but that changed when he became an Abducted and a womanizer. To make matters worse, Yutsuki had contacted him earlier and said that she still liked him, indicating she was pursuing a romantic relationship regardless.

With a bang, the security door was blown open, and three armed men covered in a massive amount of blue Ki walked in.

“Be careful with the guns. If we hit the equipment and damage the data, we’ll be in trouble.”

“Should we just use Ki?”

“No, it’ll take too long.” A man said as he raised his submachine gun toward Yutsuki’s father and his protective detail, whose guns didn’t have enough stopping power to wound the assailants.

Yutsuki’s father closed his eyes. He seemed at peace, but he was not. He wanted to be there for Yutsuki. He regretted not trying to mend his relationship with Yutsuki’s mother. The relationship that was initially strictly business and ended up being a drunken mistake, but it resulted in that which he took the most pride in.

*Bang*

“What the-” “Who-”

*Bang* *Bang*

Yutsuki’s father, feeling neither pain nor impact, opened his eyes just in time to see three corpses fall to the ground.

“Whew, I made it in time,” Marty said as he walked in with Ki covered akimbo revolvers in hand.

Yutsuki’s father was surprised because he thought he recognized the voice as Marty.

In his rush, Marty had forgotten to disguise his voice, which caused his small mishap.

When Yutsuki’s father saw Marty’s eyes and mouth, all that was revealed from his mask, he furthered his suspicion. If Marty called him Oji-san, then he would be sure of his identity. However, Marty’s next words, which were sent to his mind, caused the man who was known for his calm to lose it slightly.

[A certain young lady asked me to help you, Otou-Sama.] Marty thought to him before he disappeared in a flash of purple.

Now Yutsuki’s father was sure of Marty’s identity and slightly ticked off at the implication of being called Otou-Sama by him. [Seems as though I’m going to need to make a business trip to America.]

With a flash of purple, Marty appeared in a nearby city. He was beginning to feel a little dizzy and recognized that as a symptom of running out of mana. However, he shook it off. Enough time had gone by that the crime was beginning to lessen. However, there was still a decent number of villains in the area. Marty quickly began to search.

“Help… Me.” A painted and weak female voice said.

“I already took care of your parents. No one’s going to help you.” A slightly depraved sounding man replied, followed by a laugh.

Marty quickly made his way over to where he heard the voices, and he saw made him furious. There was a skinny and unhygienic man covered in blood straddling a younger lady. The blood was presumably from the deceased couple nearby.

The girl that the assailant was straddling was a mess. She was emotionally distraught as her relatively heavy makeup was messed up by her tears. If one had to describe her, she seemed to be a conservative gyaru. Her hair was curled and dyed blonde with plenty of makeup on her white skin. She was dressed in what appeared to be a high school uniform but wore it more provocatively than the uniform was intended. If Marty was in the mood to joke around, he might think something like [this stereotype exists]? However, Marty was not in the mood to joke around.

As more time went on, either more degenerates came out of the woodwork, or they couldn’t hold back their animalistic desires. Marty had already come across half a dozen heinous acts and had taken care of it. However, unlike the other robbers, they wouldn’t be picked up by cops but by morticians.

With a flick of his fingers, Marty sent one of his special coins through the man’s head. Before he fell on the girl beneath him, Marty kicked away his body.

Marty was about to ask the girl if she was all right but swallowed back his words when he saw her scramble towards the deceased couple.

“Tou-san, Ka-san, I’m so sorry. It’s all my fault.” The young girl said next to her parents’ bodies as she wept.

Marty didn’t say anything and stood to let her mourn. Having lost both of his parents and younger twin sister, he could empathize with her a little. After a short time, she turned to look at him. “Thank you.”

“Sorry I wasn’t here sooner,” Marty replied.

“It’s not your fault.” She said as she shook her head. “We argued, and I snuck out of the house. That was before this whole mess started. Why did they have to find me now?”

“I already let the authorities know. They’ll be here shortly. Do you have someone to take care of you?”

The girl nodded. “My grandparents live near here.”

“I should go,” Marty said before he stopped as the girl had grabbed his clothes. He turned back around to look at her right before she suddenly thrust herself into his chest.

“Please, I need someone to hold me right now.”

Marty didn’t say anything at first as he lightly embraced her for a short time.

As he held her, he thought about his parents, and when Freyja was killed. He was fortunate to be able to get her back. He got a second chance, a chance that others would never get. He wished he could give it to her. With that thought, he suddenly felt as if all the remaining energy in his body was drained away, and he lost consciousness.

“Help me!” A breathless female voice suddenly sounded.

Marty quickly made his way over to where the voice came from. He soon found a young lady being chased by a man with a knife. Seeing that the girl was getting tired, he quickly took down and incapacitated the man. As he tied up the man’s hands, the girl came next to him.

“Thank you.” She said.

“No problem,” Marty replied as he began to stand up. As he did so, the girl suddenly embraced his arm, and he felt it trapped and her surprisingly deep cleavage. Confused, he turned to look at her only to be abruptly kissed. After a couple of seconds of shock, he pulled away, utterly confused.

Firstly, he hadn’t put his guard down. Even though he was fatigued, he didn’t think it was enough to be so easily kissed. Secondly, because he could sense basic emotions, he could tell this girl had feelings for him. Compared to the love he felt from the other girls, this was different. It was more like a crush. However, that was way too fast for a crush, which left him slightly confused. Pushing these thoughts to the back of his mind, he took a good look at the girl.

She seemed to be a conservative gyaru. Her hair was curled and dyed blonde with plenty of makeup on her white skin, slightly messed up due to her sweat. She was dressed in what appeared to be a high school uniform but wore it more provocatively than the uniform was intended.

[This stereotype exists?] Marty wondered.

“Hey, you seem to be tired. I know a place where you can rest, and I can show you my appreciation for saving me.” The girl said provocatively.

Marty frowned as he wasn’t very fond of promiscuous women. However, something seemed off. He took a deep breath and was about to reply when he stopped as he realized what felt off. “You wouldn’t happen to be trying to make me take responsibility after I take your virginity, would you?”

“How did you know?” The girl replied before she covered her mouth.

Marty rolled his eyes. “You’re lucky I’m not an unscrupulous person.”

“No, really, how did you know? My acting should’ve been flawless.”

“Hardly. Your kiss was amateur, probably your first one.”

“You must’ve taken a lot of first kisses to know that.” The girl retorted.

Marty’s eyebrow twitched. “Second, when you invited me, there was a slight tremble to your voice. Your eyes flickered as if you are nervous, insinuating this would not be something you’ve done often. And finally, you have the obvious smell of a virgin.”

The girl quickly moved away from him, crossed her arms around her chest. “You smelled me? Pervert.” She replied before she’s split her tongue at him.

Marty’s face was covered in black lines.

“Aki, where are you?” A worried woman’s voice suddenly rang.

“Ka-san, Tou-san, what are you doing here? I told you you shouldn’t leave the house.” Aki said to the couple that was approaching them.

Marty noticed the trembling in her voice and saw her eyes tear up, which was a somewhat strange reaction to seeing her parents.

“What are you doing out here?” The woman chastised, eyeing Marty, who she did not trust. “You’re coming home right now.” She continued as she grabbed Aki’s arm and pulled her away.

Aki looked a little disappointed. “I’ll see you around.” She said to Marty with a wink and a provocative chest heave.

“If we are destined to meet,” Marty said as he rolled his eyes before he went and picked up the previous attacker.

“Ka-san, you just made me miss my chance to have such an extraordinary boyfriend.”

“What a lot of nonsense. You don’t know anything about him. For all you know, he wears that mask because he’s very ugly.”

“He’s actually kind of cute,” Aki mumbled under her breath, low enough for no one else to hear.

Over the next couple of hours, Marty continued to apprehend criminals. However, the amount had dropped tremendously from the lack of continuous activity, as well as Marty’s exhaustion. Due to running out of mana, he experienced what’s called mana drunkenness. Essentially, when one runs low on mana, they experience a state similar to being drunk. During this time, he saved a few people, including a news crew, to which he said a couple of things before he disappeared. He couldn’t remember what he said to them, but he quickly brushed this to the back of his mind.

Once he finally had time to stop, he took a second to locate all the girls. When he saw that there were all at a hospital, he called them out of worry.

< “Is everyone all right?”> Marty asked over the open com.

< Everyone’s okay,> Miyuki replied. < It’s... Freyja is currently getting care.>

...

A few minutes later, Marty quickly entered the hospital. If not for the fact that he knew that Freyja was okay, he’d be going faster than speed walking. Soon, he arrived in front of her room and quickly entered inside. Freyja had been given one of the larger rooms in the hospital, which allowed all the other girls to be present. The girls, all of which had exhaustion clearly on their face, smiled as he entered, but they didn’t speak as he approached as they knew he wanted to check on Freyja. He rushed up to the side of the bed and held her pale hand.

“Are you all right?” He asked her.

“I’m all right,” Freyja said weakly with a smile to reassure him. Marty was surprised and felt pain because she seemed to have so little energy as just those two words seemed forced. “What happened?” He asked as he turned to the girls.

“She reattached a young lady’s leg and then passed out due to overexertion,” Miyuki replied.

Marty then proceeded to give Freyja a look that signified he was slightly miffed since Freyja did something so reckless. Freyja replied by refusing to make eye contact. Using the last of his emotional strength, Marty used Albionian magic to give her energy. Over a few seconds, Freyja’s pale cheeks began to turn rose red while Marty’s began to turn ghastly pale.

“That’s enough,” Freyja said clearly with strength when she noticed what he was doing and became concerned for his well-being.

Marty finally stopped. He felt the most tired he had ever been. He had used all his abilities nonstop for several hours and drained all of his reserves. Exhausted, he finally sat down, but immediately regretted it as he realized that he had to stand back up. He saw that Lucibelle, who was being comforted by Shalgana, had puffy eyes and tear stains down her face. Getting back up, he made his way to Lucibelle and knelt before her as he took her hand.

“Are you okay? What happened?” He asked gently.

“Nothing, I’m fine.” She replied meekly with a forced smile.

Marty, not believing it, turned to Miyuki.

“What you think would happen with someone with her appearance shows up after, for lack of a better term, hell broke loose,” Miyuki answered.

Marty was surprised momentarily but felt the urge to facepalm. He’d already figured something like this might happen with Lucibelle and correctly guessed that the reactions people Lucibelle tried to save were poor to the point of racism.

“Come with me.” He said as he pulled Lucibelle outside. “Tell me what they did and said.”

“They said… They called me a devil; They told me to go away; They told me I’m evil. Some tried to hurt me; Some spurned me. I don’t understand; I only wanted to help.” Lucibelle replied as tears began to flow again.

Marty held her as she vented all the emotions that bubbled up. After a minute, she finally calmed down enough to where he took his hand gently lifted her face to look at his.

“Lucibelle, I want you to remember that, no matter what anyone said, you did the right thing, and I’m proud of you. All the people who said or did bad things are ignorant. They spurned you because some of your features are very similar to what humans have imagined evil to look like. But that’s what it is, nothing more than imagination. They do not understand that true evil will masquerade itself as good and will never show itself in such a form. Well, you are so beautiful it might as well be a sin so I guess I can understand some of it.” Marty said with a grin, which prompted a chuckle from Lucibelle through her tears. “I hope you don’t stop helping people in need because of this. I want you to remember, even if the world rejects you, I will always accept you. If the world dares to make you its enemy, I dare to fight the world.”

Marty’s words left Lucibelle shellshocked. His last few words are not casually said or meant as a joke. He spoke them with such firmness and conviction she knew he meant every word. He dared! He would rather be shunned by the world with her by his side than forsake her. Her puffy eyes turned crazy, and she lunged at Marty. Her lips locked onto his, and she kissed him awkwardly and passionately.

Marty, who was once again caught off guard, froze for a second before he returned it. It was their first kiss, and he wanted to be memorable, so he soon intertwined more than their lips. It lasted for several seconds before they both separated and took some deep breaths. Marty looked in Lucibelle’s eyes and swore he saw hearts in them.

*Whistle*

“My, my.”

“Way to go, Romeo.”

Three separate voices suddenly sounded behind Marty. He turned around to find three college girls, as evident by their clothing, standing behind him.

Slightly embarrassed, he turned towards them. “How long were you three there for?”

“A little bit before you declared to fight against the world.” The girl with the predominantly thick French accent replied.

“Well, at least you didn’t miss the good part,” Marty cheekily replied.

The three girls giggled before they entered Freyja’s room with flowers.

Marty was somewhat surprised as they seemed to be visiting Freyja specifically. He turned back to Lucibelle was touching her lips with a look of slight confusion on her face.

“What’s wrong?” Marty asked.

“Nothing, I’m just wondering why your lips tasted a little like cherry.” She replied, a little dazed.

Marty quickly turned around to enter the room. “Must’ve been from the cherry that came with the shake I had for an energy boost.” He said as he entered the room.

With that explanation, Lucibelle stopped wondering and entered the room with him.

In the room, Marty saw Freyja speaking with the three college girls.

“Let me introduce you,” Freyja said as she nodded towards the French dialect girl. “This is the young lady whose leg I fixed.” She said before she motioned towards Marty. “This is my husband.”

When she said this, the three ladies gave a strange look before they seemed a little awkward. Freyja was confused for a moment before she saw Lucibelle, who had a dazed look and a slight grin. “Let me correct myself. This is our husband.” She said as she motioned towards the other girls in the room.

The college girls looked around the room before looking back at Marty.

“I guess calling you Romeo was an understatement.”

Marty meekly smiled.

Freyja, noticing the awkwardness, gave a sly smile towards the French-accented young woman. “Say, Marty, she’s cute, and I know how much you like girls with accents.”

“No way.” Marty immediately replied.

The three college girls, who were further embarrassed, awkwardly made a little small talk before they eventually left.

After they left, Marty sighed and flicked Freyja’s forehead. “You shouldn’t do that because you won’t have many friends.”

“I have no problem in that department,” Freyja said as she looked around at the other girls. “I wouldn’t mind several hundred friends.” She further teased.

Marty almost had a heart attack at the thought.

“Look, look!” Shiro said as she pointed the TV.

The following pre-recorded broadcast made Marty want to drill his head into the sand and facepalm at the same time due to embarrassment. He swore he would never get “mana drunk” again.

A relatively younger female newscaster moved closer to some of the action that was occurring in the city in an attempt to get a better story. At this point, the mayhem had been going on for several hours and had begun to die down. However, this also meant that the few people that remained were crazier than the previous ones, and three men attacked the news crew. Under threat, the newscaster was being forced to strip while the crew recorded. Luckily for the young lady, before anything more than shoulder was exposed, a cloaked and masked figure suddenly appeared knocking two out before finishing off the third man with ease. Just before the masked man began to leave, the newscaster spoke up.

“Wait, wait, are you one of the heroes?”

The masked man looked back with an ever so slight sneer apparent on his lips. “Please, don’t associate me with those people.”

“Do you have something against the heroes? Why are you helping?”

“Don’t lump me with those hypocrites were seeking glory in their perpetuation of violence. They do what they want in the name of what is right or what is justice when their actions are hardly different from the people they stop. Not to say that criminals shouldn’t be stopped, but the glorification is outright nonsense. I don’t do anything for such foolish reasons. I only follow my conscience.” He said as he gathered the unconscious criminals and began to leave.

“Wait, what’s your name?”

“My name? I suppose you can call me The Fake Hero.” He said before he disappeared.
