UNREALITY, a game that trended the whole world in it's first day of release! A game accessible in one's slumber. Sons, Daughters, Fathers, Mothers, even the elderly are playing the game! It's the most popular game to ever exist since the beginning of time!

It was 11 in the evening, almost midnight. In an apartment...
Krel, a young teenager had to break his piggy bank containing his lifetime savings that he was planning to spend on his tuition fee once he got into the college he really wanted to study in just so he could buy the equipment required to play the UNREALITY.

Well, of course he was having doubts at first, but after confirming that he really could make money and be successful in the game, he didn't even look back and ordered UNREALITY's equipment online right away! It was a gamble!

"God, I'm hungry. I gotta order something to eat." faced with such a serious situation, he couldn't help but get hungry when he had just eaten an hour ago.

He opened his wallet just to see nothing inside, he shook it and hoped that something would come out and what he had been hoping for came true!

"OH! A PIZZA MEAL VOUCHER!!" he dialed the number at breakneck speed as if his life depended on it.

15 minutes later... a 'Ding Dong!' sound could be heard.
"Woa, the pizza delivery is unexpectedly fast tonight." he said in a low voice.

He ran over expecting a delivery guy standing in front of his door, he opened the door and reached out to take the pizza with a smile on his face but there was no such person. "Uh?"

I'm sure I heard the doorbell ring. Is someone playing pranks on me?

A girl happened to pass by and got weirded out by his actions. She chose to ignore him as she rushed her way through the corridor with stiff movement.

He collected himself as if nothing had happened. As he was about to close the door, he saw the package he had been waiting for lying on the floor in front of him. It had been there all along, just that he was expecting something else.

"The delivery is faster than the pizza guy?"
...

While assembling UNREALITY's equipment...

[ ACTIVATING SYSTEM! ] It wasn't that loud but with the element of surprise, it truly sounded deafening!

"HOLY F****** SH*T!" he was taken by surprise that his heart almost stopped, he blacked out and fell on the spot followed by a loud thud.

He woke up seeing the plain blue sky in front of him. He deduced that he had gotten a heart attack, and regretted not being able to eat the pizza before dying, until a dialogue box appeared asking for his in-game name.

"Huh? UNREALITY? That's strange, I haven't even finished assembling the equipment yet..." A virtual keyboard appeared in front of him. He pondered for a moment until finally typing out the name he decided to use in the game.

...

Hiding behind a boulder...

[ Congratulations for leveling up for the first time, Host! Reward: Kaeon Gem. Would Host like to integrate it to the currently equipped Novice Punching Gloves? ] The System rang out.

"How did I level up? I didn't even kill anything. As far as I can remember I have just been running for my life since the beginning." Either way, it still spelled out a good opportunity for him so he didn't press on it as he was still busy keeping an eye on the boss.

[ Host has unlocked the Title: Sprinter! +30 Movement Speed (can be equipped) You have been rewarded some Experience along with the Kaeon Gem. ]

"Equip the Title and Integrate the Gem to the Novice Punching Gloves" Krel replied to the system. A huge stony silhouette could be seen behind the boulder where he was hiding in, it was destroying everything in it's path that Krel shivered over the thought that if it found him, it would turn him into vegetables in a single hit.

[ Sprinter title equipped. +30MS (1) active ]
He suddenly felt his legs become lighter.

[ Integration successful. Would Host like to see the stats of the item? ]
Krel nodded in agreement and couldn't help but break out in cold sweat as the boss nears him, shaking the ground with every step it took.

[ ITEM: NOVICE PUNCHING GLOVES

GIVEN TO STARTING PLAYERS.

ATTACK +270

SOULBOUND

LEVEL REQUIRED: LEVEL 3 ]

He was momentarily shocked seeing such high attack damage after the integration, as he realized that he could finally beat the crap out of the huge thing that had been hunting and beating him senseless since the first time he logged-in to the game, a smile that almost split his face in half had spread across his face.

It wasn't only until then that his excitement got replaced by frustration when he saw that the level requirement was Level 3 and it'd still take at least 33,333 successful hits, and that is excluding the critical hits.

"Why is this happening to me? That Tristam told me told me nothing big would happen early in the game. If he got through this then so can I!" Tristam had been his best friend since childhood, they treated each other like real brothers.

"Wait, now that I think about it, he's never mentioned this 'system' before..." he shook his head and put it aside for now because he was being hunted down at this very moment and he didn't even know anything about the game.

After a few hours of running away and hiding from the boss, who knows what the boss was thinking? Maybe it had gotten tired of playing games trying to chase this fragile existence that would even die if it's attack just connected once.

It stopped moving for a while until loud thuds could be heard as huge boulders started falling down from it's back, as soon as it landed on the ground, blue glows that looked to be like eyes could be seen on these stony 6-feet tall things.

...

Krel had gone all the way down the rocky mountain where he could finally see countless of trees and greens. He found a cavern for himself to hide in. He sat on the ground and began to wave and do some gestures with his hands like he had seen in Sci-fi movies that he even ended up doing a Rock 'N Roll sign, but he still couldn't get anything to come out.

"System, log me out of the game."
