"Kazuha, your still awake? *Sighs* your worried I might attack you arent you?" Kyouya gets up and started talking to me
"You can say it that way, how about you, why do you trust us so easily?"
"Well, I dont trust you entirely, but Ive never had a friend before, so I thought maybe its time I have one I guess"
"I grew up in a lab like I said before, so Miku and I never had friends, when we escaped, every human hated us, either running away or try to kill us, it hurts to see my sister being lonely, all we got was each other, so when I saw Miyu, I was suprised to find another half demon, but when she tried driving me away I felt a little upset and disappointed"
"I see, but why did you change your mind?"
"When I saw Miku having fun with Miyu, I was happy, I never seen her smile so bright before, so I wanted to keep her smiling, how can I earn your trust? Is there anything I could do?"
"Nothing, I dont trust you, but its fine if you stay with us, having a team is better I guess"
The next morning...
"Alright lets head off, were going outside the safe zone, feel free to tag along" I told my new friends and set off
"Thanks, I knew you were a good guy, lets go Miku"
"Oh I forgot to ask, whats Miku's magic?" Miyu asked the little girl
"I use wind magic, big brother told me not to fight unless I have to so I dont use it"
We continued our trip while they chatted happily, after days of walking, we reached a town and decided to stay for a bit
"We broke out of the base a few days ago, lets hope the news hasnt reach this area, remember, try not to stand out" I told them and let them wander off
"Alright! Lets go Miku" Miyu cheered and went with Miku
"Kyouya, follow them, I'll take a look around"
"Are you sure? Man your a loner alright, well then I'll go after them, lets meet back here when were done"
I wandered around the populated town not sure what I was looking for
I guess I'll just find us somewhere to stay
I found a hotel nearby and checked in with my savings from working as a soldier and the money my parents left, I went into my room and lied down
Ah, I havent lied down on a bed for a while, its too early to sleep, I guess I'll take a walk around
The vendors chattered and kids were playing around, it was a peaceful town
"Dumplings! Dumplings here!" A vendor called out
Dumplings? Maybe I'll have some
"I'll take four of those, how much does it cost?"
"That'll be 50 yen sir, thank you for your purchase"
*Nom* mhm, this is nice maybe I'll go find Miyu and the others no-- huh? Who are they
As I was eating my dumplings as I walk, I spotted a group of hooded figures walking down an alley way
"Oh, Kazuha! Over here" Miyu waved at me in a distance while I was in a daze
"Oh Miyu, did you guys have fun? I rented a hotel nearby, we'll stay there for a bit, oh and I bought you guys some dumplings"
"Wow, Ive never tasted these before, thanks Kazuha!" Miku's eyes lit up in excitement and started munching on her food
"Lets go to the hotel"
When we got there...
"This feels nice, me and Miku never been into a hotel before" Kyouya exclaimed while rolling on the bed
"Kyouya, do you and Miku have horns like Miyu?"
"Yeah, we use concealment magic to cover it, every half demon can hide their horns with that skill" Kyouya and Miku showed their horns to me and hid it again
"I see" so they really are half demons
After some talking, we went to bed, Miyu and Miku shared a bed while Kyouya and I slept on seperate beds
Hmm, back there... Who were those people, maybe their just locals around here, Iam worrying too much
At a cliff at the edge of a forest far from the town, a hooded figure stands there and looking at the bright lights of the town
"Its time, bring them to me"
Out of the trees, more hooded figures jumps out from behind him and heads to the down
"Nuclear Flash" a ball of light lits up on the figures hand and launches above the town, the ball became brighter and brighter as it grows bigger blinding the town people
At the hotel...
"Huh....? Kyouya wake them up, look at this"
I woke them alerting them of whats happening
"Huh? Whats going on, is it morning alread-- *gasps*" Miyu said as she woke up and saw how bright it was outside
"A flash bang? No.. its magic" It became brighter and brighter until we couldnt see anything but white
*SHATTER* I heard the windows breaking and multiple footsteps around me
"Get off! Someone's grabbing me, who you guys!" Miyu screamed
"G-guys whats happening, get off me! Miku are you alright!?" I also heard Kyouya struggling as if their being taken away
"Miku's scared, whats happening big brother" Miku cried as she got taken away
Their voices starts to fade meaning their getting further from me
"Tsk! What is this crap, who are you people!?Miyu!"
the light started to disappear, and I saw that they were gone, all thats left was me.
The town people also came out in the streets wondering about what happened
"Miyu! Kyouya! Miku! Where are you" I searched the place up but there wasnt any signs of them
No, this can't be, lets think first. That light didnt seem to have harmed anyone, thats too much do be human technology, so its magic, and only Miyu, Kyouya and Miku got taken...
At that moment, I remembered the hooded figures I saw earlier, and it came to me
Those three... Their half demons, could that be the reason they were taken and not me, but who would take them. This is the only explanation I can think of for now or could it be... That they abondoned me
I tested my magic just to see if Miyu had took it back, but I can still manipulate dark magic normally
That settles it, they've been taken away, don't tell me this was all Kyouya's plan. Iam still alive so that means Miyu is too, I'll find them
I asked around the town if they saw anyone like Miyu, but no one saw them. I also asked about the hooded figures and they said they know nothing about them
They're not in the town anymore, I need to find them while I still have time
I searched the nearest woods but found nothing, not even a clue of where they went
They're gone, what do I do now... Miyu, Where the hell did you go...
