Year 1299

Azumi, a commoner who by a strange twist of fate was selected by the princess Alfin to be her bodyguard, of course many people are againts such decision but princess Alfin just ignore all of them like usual

The 20 year old bodyguard currently on a morning stroll with his 19 year old master, and just like usual a so call "whisper" from noble and knight alike keep on "whispering" about it, but of course both of them just ignored it as they knew that those "whisper" will only make their day worse if they react to it

"Those barking dogs couldn't be more obvious, im suprise they still have the time to talk about us" [Azumi]

 Azumi say in amusement

"Now now, if you keep reacting to every small matter round you, you will never be able to progress, so it best to ignore it and use your energy in thing that are actually matter" [Alfin]

They are currently heading toward the library, where there both of them will continue their study, as a princess bodyguard, Azumi need some level of education to better himself as power alone will not help him, and eventhough most commoner in this world does not even bother about education, Azumi is different, he actively seeking it, a fact that make Princess Alfin happy as she herself are happy to teach Azumi

"You know, with the pace you are going, you can actually outsmart most noble in higher education , if only I can persuade you and other to enter Athena academy" [Alfin]

 Alfin sigh sadly but Azumi quickly replied that it have more demerit as of now due to him being a little short temper when confronting a no good noble as he will most likely "lashed out" 

"Well, putting that aside, we still need to research about the black god, ishmelga, so after our study session, i hope you can help me with that"[Alfin]

 Alfin once again chat to Azumi

As their morning chat continue, a chill snow fall, indicating the month of snow have begun

Here in this world there are 12 month and each month have their own unique season and in each month, and some magical element are stronger than the other depending on the month

1st month - month of snow represent ice element, indicating start of the year

2nd month - month of fall represent wind and flora element

3rd month - month of sun, represent fire

4th month - spring, represent month of wind and fauna

5th month - month of darkness, represent time and darkness element

6th month - illusion month, represent mirage and psychic

7th month - light month, represent light element and also space element

8th monty - rainy month, represent water, wind and thunder

9th month - month of fertility, represent earth, fire, water, flora and fauna

10th month - month of nothingness, where the element space time mirage are colliding with each other

11th month - month of fairy, where psychic, flora and fauna prevail

12th month - end month, also call month of uncertainty as any season can happen and season can change within few minute

"How pretty, this remind me of my fateful encounter with you, Alfin, if not for you only god know what will happen to me"  [Azumi]

"Don't worry, its in the past, and most importantly, I got the best guard in the entire Rafelesia because of that" [Alfin]

Seeing the 1st snow of the year, Azumi bow to her master, something that he have been doing every year since that accident happen,

"Princess Alfin, I, Azumi swore to you, that this life that you have save will continue to serve you" [Azumi]

Alfin then proceed to thanks her bodyguard, and just as they finish their small personal ceremony, another person come to greet them
