"Golden rays of the glorious sunshine~ Streaming down such a blood red light~" I sang to myself as I watched the Magical Girls fight against my army of destruction, obviously I was winning, it were 50 robots and two tanks against a few Girls in stupid outfits, I didn’t even need to do anything, my army was perfectly capable of fighting them off on their own, they had to constantly evade beams of energy, leaving them no chance to fight back. More importantly than all of that however was the simple fact that whenever my army hit anything, be it a tree or the ground, a beautiful Explosion would occur.

I felt like this was an play performed for me, it was absolutely beautiful and almost brought me to tears multiple times, I hope Someone records this, I have to show this to Kristin and Sigrid, it‘s to beautiful to not show them, they‘ll recognise the beauty, they’re my partners and friends after all. I wonder how they are doing right now?

God this was so much fun! It’s strange how people keep advocating to not be evil, it’s so much fun! You can do whatever the hell you want with no consequences! Why would you not want to be evil, I sure as hell don’t get it. Look at me, being able to sing while fighting the Magical Girls, I don‘t have to lift a finger to defeat them and all thanks to me choosing to be a evil jackass who would rather see the world burn then to tolerate anymore of these girls blasphemy!

It was at this moment more Magical Girls showed up and they didn’t stop coming, like holy shit how many are there of you, like Jesus Christ!! There are like 18 Magical Girls now and they are actually capable of pushing my army back, picking off the robots one by one in groups of two, one using a shield to protect them while the other destroys a robot.

What the actual fuck happened, I was winning only a few seconds ago, how on earth did they manage to turn the tides this quickly?! Is this some kind of protagonist bullshit, pulling themselves from a bad situation through the "power of friendship" or something?! What is this, this isn't supposed to work in the real world!!

But rather I like it or not, solowly but surely my army gets destroyed right before my very eyes, even my tanks get cut into pieces by magical beams and weapons, this is so fucking stupid, I am completly alone, soon with two others and they are like 18 AND  they can call upon the power of bullshit media tropes to save their asses?!

There is no way in herll I can beat them now, so I guess I'll have to retreat for now, but at least I got some juicy info out of this fight I guess... It still tastes bitter in my mouth though I don't like this at all.

With a snap of my fingers I open another portal this time leading straight to my home, I give the battlefield a last once over and yeah it's very over, only a few single robots remain and both tanks lay in piceces on the dirt. I catch the eye of one of the Magical Girls, the Rainbow one and the moment we make eyecontact I give her my best shit eating grin, a wave of my hand and disapear into the portal. I don't know why I did it, it just felt right to do.

Once I exit the portal i blink a few times to orient myself and once my brain finally registers I am, in fact, in my room, i dismiss the portal and walk into the living room, finding both Sigrid and Kristin lying on the floor unconsious. I could see their skin slowly turning white, which I guess was a trademark for us people with no souls? Strange but Ok, i dont write the laws of the universe.

I walk into the kitchen and grab myself some cerial, it would take a while for them to be fully done, so I guess I will pass the time with some anime and movies while I wait. I get comfortable on the sofa after lowering the blinds and letting sweet darkness creep into the room, time for a movie night! Although it technically wasn’t night yet, but that’s irrelevant!!

It took about two full movies and three snack refills until the two of them finally woke up again, although they only groaned a lot so I guess I still had to wait a bit until they fully recover, remembering how I first woke up I quickly turn the lights back on, it hurt and judging by their screaming they two were effected, but it best to do now rather then later. I took a look at their new bodies, while they kept on groaning in pain on the floor.

Sigrid had barley changed at first glance, her already pale skin got even more pale but that’s about it in terms of bodily changes, if you ignore the giant black bat like wings on her back and the giant claw like nails on her hands.

Kristin was a bit strange in comparison, there were no visible changes to her body besides the usual paleness of her skin, on further inspection I found multiple lines along her body, seemingly segmenting her body into different parts. I don’t know What that would entail, but that’s for them to find out in their guid books, which I just noticed were lying next to them on the floor. I held back my curiosity of reading it myself, but I couldn’t hold out on finding out their titles, it would be right on the cover so I wouldn’t open them, so it’s fine right?

I grab both books one was white and the other purple, the white one had multiple bats carved into it leather casing and the purple one had long stilettos, as in the knife, carved into it leather casing, they seemed identical to my own except for the colour and carvings. Then I look at the titles my friends and soon to be partners had gotten.

"'Sigrid, Die Vampir' and Kristin Die Assassinin'" I read the titles of my friends and tried figuring out, why they were German once again? Is this because the German language is somehow evil, or on second though it probably just sounds evil. Yeah that’s gotta be it. A vampire and a assassin eh? Let’s find out your abilities then, I‘m sure this is going to be fun.

"Ughhhh my headdd…" Kristin suddenly said as she sat up from her transformation nap, Sigrid soon followed also rubbing her head. I help both of them up to their still wobbly feet and then hand them their respective books, with a grin I say.

"Welcome to the side of evil, it‘ll be a pleasure working with you to rid this world of the fashion disaster that are the Magical Girls." Then we laugh and I note that this was probably the first time I ever heard Sigrid actually laugh, not that stupid giggle while hiding her mouth behind her mouth, an actual laugh. This was going to get good.

The tension was so thick on could cut it with a knife as always after a major demon attack, but there was a few things different: 1. I attacked the city park not a random monster animal from outer space and second the attack had been 3 days ago, normally things got back to normal at this point, but for some stupid reason, not anymore! I didn’t even attack the school so what on earth is going on here?!

Ok maybe I‘m a little extreme in this regard, according to the news my attack was the most dangerous that had ever happened, forcing all active Magical Girls to come and stop me And in the end I even escaped making everyone anxious about me turning up again and starting another rampage, was I really that dangerous? I sure as hell didn’t feel like it, considering I barely scratched the Magical Girls my self, I only injured one at that out of an ambush at that.

"Do You think she would ever attack the school?“ I overheard one boy ask his friend, it wasn’t the first time I heard this particular question today and by god it was getting on my nerves, people always dream of others talking about them like their a big deal, but it can get annoying real quick, especially if they start making assumptions that are plainly wrong, but you can’t correct them because you have to keep your identity a secret.

Suddenly the door to my classroom opens and by god never have I been more surprised and agitated at the same time, as through the door walked three people, our teacher, Ms. Harly, and two fucking Magical Girls. Why? Just why? I already have to deal with you outside my school life can’t you just leave me alone?!

Of course the rest of my class doesn’t share my view of things and immediately the class erupts into shouts and questions, Ms Harly tries to calm the class down but it took her more then five minutes to do so, all the while the Magical Girls stood there awkwardly, while I continued to glare at them, if Sigrid and Kristin were here I had partners to glare at them with, but sadly those two had a different class together right now, so I was alone in my endeavour to kill them with my look. Only once Ms Harly starts speaking to I turn my gaze away from them.

"As you will all know by now, on last Friday there were consecutive attacks made by the same person calling herself 'The Maus', you all have seen What she is capable of and how dangerous she can be, as such the government asked the Magical Girls to give lessons, so to speak, about what to do and how to act if you were to encounter her, a crash course in safety.“ With that she stepped aside and the two Magical Girls took the stand.

It were the yellow one with the gauntlets and miss rainbow hair that gave the crash course and it basically just boiled down to the same crash course we have gotten at the start of the school year, don’t engage them and just try and hide basically and I gotta say being treated like some kind of mindless beast was extremely degrading and pissed me off even more then I already was. I was shacking in my seat, trying to not lash out, as that would give away my identity immediately, when suddenly my pocket started to rumble.

I fished my phone out, making sure no one saw me do it, it were moments like these I appreciated sitting at the back of the class And saw a text from Kristin.

Let’s meet at the toilet next break.

I didn’t respond, there was no point, I guess they too had to sit through this bullshit and I guess they have the same thing on their minds as I do. If this was the same crash course from the start of the year it would span over into the next period as well. During the break between that we would meet and plan ahead.

It was good, almost perfect. Did that mean I liked it? Absolutely fucking not! I want to just get up and start blasting these bitches to bits right now, my body yearns for it, I know it’s stupid but I can’t help it, I want to see them dead.

"As you have probably already noticed, this threat is obviously human, or at least, used to be human, this person gave up their humanity for her Magical Powers, that is our best theory at least, as such it is quite possible Someone from this very school is The Maus. This is further supported by the fact that she first appeared here, just outside the school." This string of sentences got the entire class, to use a scientific term, completely apeshit, me included. They already came this close to figuring me out for fuck sake, I‘m allowed to have a small panic attack.

The Magical Girls continued to talk like they haven’t just dropped a gigantic bombshell on all of us, saying things like their is no need to worry and the like, not that that helped anything, but then they dropped an even bigger bombshell, that send me into an even bigger panic attack.

“After the break will have all of you tested, it won’t hurt and it won’t be long. We’ll only check if your humanity is still in tact, all You have to do is wait and let Hikaru, who will arrive shortly, have a quick scan over your body…" She talked a bit more, probably getting into more detail of the procedure, but I didn’t listen.

My head was spinning and I was starting to hyperventilate, oh fucking shit balls this was bad, there is no way in hell we could dodge that scan, even if we snuck way during the break we would probably scanned the next day instead and if we never show up again it wouldn’t take a genius to connect the dots!! We were so fucking doomed and it’s all their fault!!

I glare at The Magical Girls my anger slowly consuming me, if we gonna get found out anyway why still hold back? If we can’t hide forever anyway why hide at all? Let’s just get rid of these pesky bitches and move on. As I was ready to summon my true form, something truly unexpected happened.

The door slammed open, but there was no person, only two hands holding two Stilettos were hovering there above the ground, before a swarm of white bats flew through the door and all hell broke loose. People screamed as the swarm of bats descended upon them scratching and biting however they got their claws or teeth on, the temperature of the room also fell quickly to that of an fridge and that’s because the bats, were made of ice, because obviously those were Kristin‘s and Sigrid‘s doing.

I smiled as I watched the Magical Girls struggle to fight off the seemingly never ending swarm of bats, after a few satisfying moments of seeing them struggle, I was suddenly grabbed by one of the floating hands and dragged towards the door, if I didn’t know who was behind this, I probably would have screamed, but of course I knew who theses hands belonged to, so I just shut my mouth and let the Hand drag me towards my destination.

The destination was a nearby storage closet, where both Sigrid and Kristin were standing, Sigrid was wearing a Victorian era style dress that was white with some red stripes here and there, while Kristin wore a simple black Ninja uniform with a blue face mask.

I gave them one look and already saw they seemed rather displeased by all of this happening, once I was inside the closet the hand let my collar go and reattached it self onto Kristin‘s arm, together with the other hand.

"So what are we gonna do now?" I ask, to which both Sigrid and Kristin replied with the same exact idea I had for the last couple of minutes.

“We kill them."

“Ahh, you guys are truly my best friends." I grin and transform into my true form, it’s once again showtime! We quickly decide to go towards the gym as it was protocol that all students would leave the school through its back door, so there are undoubtedly a few Magical Girls there, collateral damage wasn’t something on our minds at the time.

So we waited a few moments for the school to finally start the evacuation protocol and once we were sure no random student was present in the corridors, we left the closet and made our way through the School, until finally coming face to face with the now locked doors of the gym, behind which our prey waited.

"Stand back girls, this is a job for me." I point my finger at the door, gather my magic and fire.
