J: “Well, might as well get this over with.” Lording over the fortress, Jack bring one hand up, then slams it flat down on top of the pyramid structure on the top -flattening it- and driving his palm through the center of the entire fortress, satisfied, Jack brings his hand out of the new skylight “I should use these as weapons more often…” Spinning around, Jack whips the building with his tails, smacking them flat against the top half of the building, knocking it over right from its foundations. “Hmm, there doesn’t seem to be anyone in this, I suppose they evacuated, but where to…”

Atop the wall, a small humanoid figure descends from the sky, approaching a much larger one, before landing next to them and saluting ???: “Sir! There’s a giant monster approaching the us!” Used to the new recruits’ over-exaggerations, the knight captain humored them: “Oh really? And how big was the giant monster? Was it perhaps poking it head out of the canopy? Covering the sun? Tell me.” Still panicking, the recruit speedily responded: “No Sir! The Canopy only goes up to it legs!” ???: “Are you serious?” ???: “Sir yes Sir!” Grumbling a bit, the captain thought a bit, before addressing his unit: “You heard the newbie! A giant is on its way!” “You there!” Spotting a fidgeting member of his unit -Yerty- one who, while shaky, he knew he could trust: “Take some recruits then alert headquarters! Be on standby to fly out to alert the King if things start to look bad!” Yerty: “S- Sir yes Sir!” “I- I look forward to delivering the report with you when you defeat the m- monster, S- Sir!” “Aye! that I do as well!”

-Now-
Four of the Bat-like humanoids fly over a vast forest unsteadily ???: “Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Yerty! It- It d-d-destroyed the wall in one move!” Yerty, scared out of his wits, but determined: “T-that’s right recruit! B-but w-we have a duty to do!” “We must warn the King!”

Jack is minding his own business, now that he’s destroyed the fortress, he’s not sure what to do J: “I could try tracking them, but flying creatures are quite hard to track.” “Not to mention those magic-users were able to conjure something that might’ve actually done some serious damage to me, and in such a short amount of time.” “So it’s not like I can just rush their next base anyways, they’re likely to be prepared next time, and I don’t want to risk death just because I didn’t want to wait.” “It also seems that they might be nocturnal, since I didn’t see any torches or sources of light at that fortress.” Slightly chuckling to the best of his vocal-cordless abilities, Jack thinks of something “I however, am not nocturnal, which means I can attack them in the daytime and have some time to recover my energy.” “That is of course if I knew where they were…”
