“Where are we going hero?” Nyxen asks with a perplexed expression while looking around the unfamiliar place 

 

“To my family’s house” Shiro answers while looking around to make sure they're not lost

 

“Weren’t you dead?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Wouldn’t that shock them”

 

“They’ll be happy that I’m alive”

 

“Hero I don’t think a dead person coming back to life is normal”

 

“Call me Shiro”

 

“Hero I think we’re here” Nyxen points at a regular looking house Ignoring his request 

 

“How did you know?”

 

“The hero seems like the type of person to grow up in that type of home and also I sense a lot of sadness in there”

 

“Then let’s get in there and change the mood” Shiro starts walking towards the house while nyxen followed behind

 

Shiro used the spare Keys under the vase, he went inside the house looking around he had nostalgia looking around the bedroom, kitchen, and even the bathroom

 

“Let’s go to my room”

 

“Hero, I have a feeling the reason you died was that you never listen”

 

“Did you say something?” Opening the door to his bedroom he sees it completely the same as before

 

he didn’t notice his older sister sleeping in his room 

 

“The mangas that I read are still here, and also my secret stash hehe” Shiro had a stupid grin while looking thru his stash

 

“I never knew the hero was this kind of person” she stared at him coldly 

 

He waved it off, reading the mangas that he wasn’t able to finish when he died, the former demon king sat beside him and started reading with him

 

They continued to do so until they ran out of volumes to read. “Next” “I don’t have the next volume” “then get the next volume” “I don’t have the money”  

 

Nyxen pouted “tsk when it was getting good” 

 

sounds of ruffling was heard, Shiro and nyxen looked at the bed to see a brown-haired girl with a Frightened expression 

 

“Are you the ghost of my brother Shiro?” Saeko Hayashi asks while Hiding in the blanket

 

“Well no and yes” Shiro replied to the question 

 

“Hero I will take some of these books and. Read them outside” nyxen walks out of the room carrying several mangas

 

“Make sure you don’t accidentally rip them” 

 

“I can’t promise that”

 

After she left only the two siblings remained in the room

 

“You’re not here to curse me are you?” 

 

“Oh yes I’m” I’ll play along for now

 

Shiro’s older sister trembled, tears started to form in her eyes  

 

“I was joking, it was a joke” Seeing that Shiro started waving his hands around

 

“You big idiot…” she started crying, he had a sudden realization how he should have been more considerate on how he would show up suddenly alive, he remembered in his last moments when his sister Begged for him to not go

 

“Sorry” a weak response came out of Shiro, being in another world for 5 years made me inconsiderate to other peoples feelings huh

Shiro  tried comforting his sister while she is still crying uncontrollably, it lasted half an hour, after calming down she fell asleep in Shiro's lap 

 

“Has she calmed down?” Nyxen asks peeking behind the door

 

Shiro gave a nod towards the door

“Sometimes I wonder who is the older one between us”

 

“How about your parents?”

 

“It’ll be fine, I got the tissues ready”

 

“I see, hero I’ll be taking a walk and also If anything happens it is entirely your fault”

 

“Use telepathy if you get lost” Shiro stayed in his room preparing for another Wave of emotions
