Hey everyone, hope this finds you doing well. Unfortunately, life has decided to throw a bowling ball at my face and also at my editor, DelberCrankToggle, who has been sick for the past few days. As such, he has not been able to edit, and I’ve not been able to write and what I do have is complete garbage(At least in my opinion); So there will be no new chapter this week. Many apologies, but I figured I should tell you instead of just vanishing into the void for about two weeks.
In other news, I’ve been thinking about possibly starting up a new webnovel. However, to do that, I would need to juggle two novels AND work that makes me want to blow off my legs with a shotgun whenever I come home, not even mentioning the drain on my mental capabilities leaves me with little to no energy left, making my writing barely cohesive if I do write. So I’ve decided to leave it to a poll. Would you rather me focus 100% on Stranded America, or start-up another novel?
(P.S I wrote and posted this at 12AM so don't judge me if this looks sloppy.)
The question is which kind of Story
I have a few ideas bouncing around, all of which being some take on the Isekai genre as that is what I enjoy writing. They range from "Dictator summoned as a hero"(goes about as well as you think) to a group of Terrarian gamers having to fight a literal god. I have a few more but they would require about a paragraph to explain correctly. But seeing how the majority of people want me to focus on one Webnovel I probably won't be starting another one anytime soon.
It’s ok mann hope your editor get well soon and you get as much rest as you can 👍
I'm also ok with vanishing into the void. Heck, you wouldn't be the first author to do that.
I definitely wouldn't be the first, but I would rather eat an entire phonebook than leave/go on hiatus with no notification, the guilt would kill me.
2 years later and I voted for the top one "Hell yeah two novels!" just to see what the votes was at. So my vote doesn't really count.
Might be late. But I think you should do what you think is within your capabilities. If you can balance the writing and living without much compromise. Then why not.
Keep up the good work
