In anticipation of the release of My Winter With You on December 29th I'd like to announce the publication of a crossover side story featuring Sayuri. Sayuri is a joy to write, honestly, and I don't feel she has gotten enough time of late. She's as much fun as Emi is to write, though far less tiring than that ball of frenetic energy. I originally began this as just kind of a backstory of sorts and had initially entitled it "When Sayuri Met Carrisyn" based on the movie When Harry Met Sally but, honestly, I don't remember anything about the movie except Meg Ryan's orgasm scene so it's just going to be called Sayuri's Tail. (get it? tail as in tale but for a...I'll stop.) It's not very long 5 parts each running around 1000 words or so. I'll be publishing one part a week on Mondays across all my series (even Kunoichi!). It's a bit sappy and not very Reaver's Song-like but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. Please let me know what you think! I'll see you Wednesday for more MWWY pre-release stuff and Saturday for more Reaver's Song! Be safe!

I look forward to it!
I must catch up on reaver's song one of these days... I will have re-read it because I think I forgot a lot of the who is who after your break...
Honestly, I have the exact same issue with manga. I find a manga I really enjoy and get in to then there's a month or more between updates and it pops up on my feed and I'm like "hmmm...what the hell is this?" Then I have to re-read most of, if not all of it, to figure out what was even going on in the first place.
@MenchiKatsu I get the issue when I read to much at once. I am reading over 30 stories with weekly updates atm... and it gets hard from time to time..
But manga and anime are worse. Especially when I've been binging... They are a bit like one night stands. Most of the time you forget the names...
@Yati A more apt description I've never heard! And, just like one night stands, at least half you don't really want to remember and would rather chalk it up to too much alcohol.
@MenchiKatsu and it is always the ones you try to forget that spring to mind first!
@Yati Exactly and for all the wrong reasons :(
