Not really as many skills as I was hoping for, but good enough. I suppose I don't get many if I don't drink that much blood. It does seem like I got extra options from it though. Looks like I'll need to choose a bunch of new ones. Also, I need to get around to actually choosing an art for the Staff Weapon Arts Skill.

For Item Analysis, effect must be the most useful, right? Others can be useful in varying situations, but effect will be most often useful, so choosing that. For Stealth, targeted speech might've been what was used when I saw those suspicious folks talk to one another here in the guild earlier. That can be very useful… for those who can talk. I can't, so Visual Camouflage is probably best for me.

Sword Weapon Proficiency… am I even going to use a sword? Well, if I am, Mana Reach seems best. I have tons of mana… although my vampire form doesn't. Well, she can use claws, so that's fine. Additional Effect for Wind Element, and Increased Effect for Support and Hindering. As long as I'm not too wasteful, I have tons of mana, so efficiency stuff isn't really that much of a concern. Vampire side doesn't have much mana, so efficiency won't make much of a difference anyways.

Efficiency is for normies.

I checked to make sure the window was closed, and then…

It's my turn.

Name: Ann・ユリ

Race: Vampire

HP: 316/316

MP: 48/50

Reserve Blood: 66/130

Active Skills: Blood Absorb Lv2(*), Blood Manipulation Lv1, Vampiric Transformation Lv1, Item Analysis Lv2(Effect Analysis), Evaluate Strength Lv1, Basic Cooking Lv1, Basic Weaving Lv1, Basic Farming Lv1, Magic Circle Creation Lv1, Stealth Lv2(Visual Camouflage), Restraints Lv1

Weapon Skills: Claw Weapon Proficiency Lv2(*), Many Weapon Fighting Lv2(*)

Element Skills: Fire Element Lv1, Water Element Lv1, Earth Element Lv1, Wind Element Lv2(Additional Effect), Light Element Lv1, Dark Element Lv2(Additional Effect)

Magic Skills: Shooting Magic Lv2(Improved Shot Control), Healing Magic Lv1, Area Magic Lv1, Support Magic Lv2(Increased Effect), Hindering Magic Lv2(Increased Effect)

Passive Skills: Stable Footing Lv2(Uneven Ground Adaptation), Acrobatics Lv2(Evasive Chance), Battle Awareness Lv2(Faster Reaction), Improved Organization Lv1, Improved Vitality Lv1, Magic Control Lv1, Heightened Senses Lv1(Night Vision, Blood Scent), Kalensha Language, Old Kalensha Language

…My stats are very different from Yuri-Ann's. Not just HP/MP, but a number of skills are also different. I don't have any weapon skills aside from my claws and Many Weapon Fighting. I guess each claw is a different weapon? It's not even Two Weapon, so my feet claws also count, it seems. Improved Vitality here but no Improved Mana Pool. I guess magic will never be in my wheelhouse. That's fine, I'm plenty strong as a vampire without it.

Blood Absorb Lv2 Options:

Increased Blood Reserve

Increases your blood reserve capacity.

Increased Skill Gain

Increases the amount of skills you gain for absorbed blood.

Faster Absorption Speed

Increases the speed at which you can absorb blood.

Claw Weapon Proficiency Lv2 Options:

Claw Weapon Arts

Grants Arts Skill for the staff weapon.

Accelerating Attack Speed

Attack speed increases the longer you attack continuously.

Claw Speed

Increases movement speed as long as you're not carrying weapons other than claw weapons.

Many Weapon Fighting Lv2 Options:

Simultaneous Strike Power

Attacking with multiple weapons at once increases the power of attack for each weapon beyond the first.

Multi-Weapon Balance

Increases stability and balance while wielding multiple weapons.

Quick Weapon Change

More quickly change between wielded weapons.

The Blood Absorb options are neat and all, but Increased Skill Gain seems, by far, the most important. I'll consider the other ones on future level ups. Each of the Claw Weapon Proficiency is very tempting, but I heard I should get Art Skills for weapons I use, so getting that first. For Many Weapon Fighting… this doesn't really seem like it was thought around people using their natural weapons. They're just my natural claws, so I don't really need extra balance, changing them is out of the question, so Simultaneous Strike Power for me.

Changed to my human form. With these new clothes, I picked up my staff and bag. I guess I'm really an adventurer now. Time to go to get the Barrier Magic Skill. I wonder how she's going to teach it to me? Is it that easy to teach someone a magic Skill?

Well, that took a while. The human side and the vampire side are slowly(quickly?) diverging.

Having plans of introducing a new character, a "demon" of sorts, soon. That said, I haven't quite locked down what sort of demon it will be, so I'll leave that up to a poll. These are all demons in the sense of Ann-Yuri being a demon. Ann-Yuri can be seen as a bat demon in this case… Well, blood-sucking demon to be more precise, I guess.

I hope this poll works? My first time trying this.

What sort of demon?

  • Bird Demon(Tengu) Votes: 5 55.6%

  • Horned Demon(Oni) Votes: 7 77.8%
