Taiga: What happened?

Volk: They lost Ariya.

Sapphire: 

Taiga: Damn it

Taiga: this is bad

Volk: It's super bad. She was caught by the guard.

Taiga: we need to extract pad and schmorge

Volk: What about Ariya?

Taiga: lets get Ariya's body too

Volk: We don't know if she's dead.

Sapphire: 

Taiga: oh they got separated

Taiga: hmm

Taiga: this is bad, we dont know if we can escape with sapph and save Ariya and find Schmorge and Pad

Volk: Sapph how long until you can move again?

Sapphire: i don't know

Sapphire: 

Taiga: huh...

Taiga: well

Taiga: lets try to make it to the closest shrubbery covering

Taiga: then we can conceal sapph in it and then head back on a rescue mission of the rescue team

Volk: Let's go then,

Volk: Sapph. Please don't move okay?

Sapphire: hai

Sapphire: 

Taiga: ok lets carefully put sapph's body here

Volk places Sapph's left arm and leg down in the shrubbery. Taiga carefully lowers and conceals Sapph's right side.

Taiga: Sapph listen carefully, if you can move and we aren't back by then, leave without us. You must survive.

Volk grabs some of the nearest giant leaves to hide the rest of her body.

Sapphire: 

Taiga: 

Taiga: we won't die on you yet, we'll make it back to you

Volk: I love you sapph.

The two adventurers start walking away from the bush and start planning a way to get everyone.

Taiga: volk

Volk: yeah

Taiga: we know what to do

Volk: Wait, Taiga.

Taiga: yes?

Volk: I actually have a spell book on me.

Taiga: oh wat

Taiga: can i see?

Volk: I was saving it for a rainy day. But this looks important.

Volk: You know how spell books work right?

Volk: Once you read them, they disappear. And you learn the spell.

Taiga: ah

Taiga: wouldn't that be more akin to a scroll since its one spell?

Volk: You learn the spell.

Volk: Meaning you can use it again.

Taiga: ah true

Taiga: ok

Volk: If it's stored in your memory

Taiga: should you learn it or should I?

Volk: I think you have more mana than I do.

Taiga: true

Taiga: ok I'll do it.

Volk: Okay. Let's calm down a bit.

Taiga: understood

Volk: Let your mana flow freely.

Volk: Are you ready Taiga?

Taiga: I am

Taiga focuses his mana and starts reading the spell book.

Volk: The spell is "Blizzard".

Taiga: This can be useful.

Taiga: Do you know how effective it is and it's max effective range?

Volk: The range is 100 meters and it uses up 100 MP. It only freezes their legs.

Taiga: understood

Volk: Alright. Let's go back in the mansion.

Taiga: lets get them

They peer around the corner to spot fifty guards patrolling the front door.

Volk: That's a lot.

Taiga: hmm how should we go about this.

Taiga: if we try to sneak around, they might overwhelm the interior of the mansion and it'll be much harder to find the others

Taiga: not to mention that pad and schmorge are separated from Ariya.

Volk: Let's just try to listen to their conversation first.

Taiga: ok

Volk: Can you hear anything?

The two adventurers made out some words like "... There were ... window ... stench .... bathroom ... basement ... girl... the shiny one", but it wasn't clear what exactly the guards were talking about.

Volk: hmmmm.

Taiga: girl... shiny one... are they referring to Sapph or Ariya?

Volk: I think Sapph.

Volk: She's a gem right?

Taiga: yea

Taiga: and the locations describe our path to rescue sapph

Volk: What about the basement?

Volk: We never went there?

Taiga: oh wait

Taiga: you're right

Taiga: hmmm

More key words were flowing out of the guard's conversation.

"Patrol time! ... East ... 4 ... hours ... per ... 5 .... wednars"

Taiga: 4 hours?

Volk: They're going on patrol for 4 hours?

Taiga: hmmm

Taiga: doesn't seem right

Taiga: we just caused a commotion

Volk: Anyways.

Volk: Let's see if we can climb on the roof.

Volk: We already did underground and windows. So they might be looking at those places.

Volk: So let's go from the top.

Taiga: understood

Volk points at the balcony at the top of the mansion.

Volk: I think we can get in through that.

Taiga: ok lets climb those vines to the left

Volk: Alright.

Volk climbs onto the vines, Taiga following. At the top of the vines, Volk grabbed on the ledge and pushed himself up. He then extended a hand for Taiga to grab on. Taiga took his hand and pushed himself up too.

Taiga: alright

Volk: Let's do this

Taiga: wait volk.

Taiga: didn't you say you were able to contact schmorge through party chat?

Volk: I can't connect to him right now for some reason.

Taiga: damn

Taiga: you wanna retrace our steps and make our way back to the places we've been?

Volk: Let's just continue into the mansion and sneak around the guards.

Volk opens the door and Taiga peeks left like he would in counter strike. 

Volk: All clear.

Taiga: Same.

Taiga: ok lets scout out the second floor before moving down

Volk: We don't have time, Taiga.

Volk: I'm going straight to the basement as that is our only lead right now.

Taiga: ok i'll follow

The two adventurers walked towards the basement and finds a broken basement door and a broken stone sledge hammer. There is also blood on the ground.

Taiga: shit

Volk: Probably Schmorge.

Taiga: How long ago has this happened?

Volk: He was holding that sledge hammer after all.

Volk: I have no idea. Let's go in.

Guard: Have you found her yet?

Sapphire: 

Guard 2: No. Have you?

Guard: Keep searching this area.

Guard 2: Okay. But there's nothing but leaves in this weird spot.

Guard 2: Huh?
