Alright. Now then.
I’ve got Thera accompanying Sophie back to the town despite Sophie insisting that she would just go and bite anybody or anything which might try to attack her, I’ve given Lily a massage, I’ve worked out with Frederick, and there is one more thing for me to deal with before I can get some sleep myself.
Well, it wouldn’t be nice to call her a thing.
There is one more person who I’ve got to deal with before I can rest.
It’s time to… finally introduce myself to this girl, I guess.
I haven’t actually talked to her at all since she’s been sleeping every single time that I’ve seen her, so let’s change that.
She’s going to be living here, after all.
She’s going to be under my protection.
Therefore, I should at least know her.
But… that involves talking to a little kid.
Damn it. How could Lily do it so easily? Lily didn’t even know this girl but was acting like her mother right after meeting her!
People who are good with kids are crazy to me. I mean, Lily’s not crazy. Lily is just perfect. Even if she was crazy, her craziness would just make her even more perfect seeing as how seemingly everything related to Lily makes Lily more perfect.
Ugh. I’ve been putting this off, but I really shouldn’t. I don’t want this kid to think I hate her or anything, and she needs to be willing to listen to me in case of emergencies.
At the same time, nobody as perverted as me should probably ever be within a mile of a kid. It wouldn’t surprise me if just my sheer aura could corrupt her, and the last thing I want is to corrupt a kid!
Now, corrupting Lily even more would be great.
I really need a better tentacle form so that I can just fuck Lily with tentacles for hours straight. I want to see her broken—consensually—from pleasure.
I can’t even think about talking to a kid without my mind going back to wanting to fuck Lily!
“If you have this much energy left in you to be pacing around so much, you have energy to exercise some more,” Frederick says.
I suddenly feel way less energetic.
“It is too late to slow down, Damian. I already saw how much energy you have,” he repeats.
I force out a yawn and a lazy stretch.
“Damian,” Frederick says.
Damn. He’s got me. “I just don’t know what to do,” I explain. “I have no idea how to talk to kids.”
“Talk to her like you would talk to anybody else, Damian.”
“That means flirting with her and saying I want to fuck her after simple introductions.”
“Ah… that is true. Well, talk to her like you would talk to anybody else without any of your usual sexuality.”
“How do I do that?”
“Damian, you are being dramatic. You talk to me without your usual sexuality, and I have seen you talk to others without any such things. Is talking to a child really that difficult for you?”
“I mean, it’s not really that it’s difficult, it just… feels weird. I can’t help but to think that no child should be anywhere near me just because of how much of a degenerate I am. I wouldn’t want to accidentally influence them or anything.”
“And that is why you have nothing to worry about.”
“What do you mean?”
“I would be worried if you were not worried, but I know that you are worried, so that means I do not have to worry.”
“That’s a whole lot of worrying in one sentence.”
“But do you understand my point?”
“I guess. You’re saying that, because I’m worried about what sort of influence I might have on a kid – because I’m self-aware, that means I should be safe to talk to a kid?”
“You’re simplifying all of my concerns and worries too much.”
“No, you’re not, but you’re making me admit that I’m being stupid and overly dramatic about this.”
“It sounds to me like you are the one making yourself admit that, Damian.”
This old man is too damn cool for how old he is. Easy to talk to, ripped like a bodybuilder, the ability to calm me and talk to me about anything… I really need to learn more from him so I can become like him.
I think he might actually be my first role model who isn’t a monster from hentai.
And those probably didn’t count as real role models.
“I don’t know how you do it, but thanks,” I tell Frederick.
“I would be happy to help you whenever you need me to, Damian,” Frederick says.
“I guess… I’ve got to go talk to her now. I was thinking of just doing all the communicating through Lily, but that wouldn’t be right. It’d just be inefficient, dependent on Lily, and I’d feel like I was running away from it.”
“Don’t worry, Damian. The worst-case scenario is that a little girl doesn’t like you.”
“The worst-case scenario is that some soccer mom sees me and reports me to the police for suspicion of being a pedophile.”
“Soccer mom? Police? I am unfamiliar with these terms, Damian, but I don’t believe we have those here.”
“You’re right. Alright, I’m going to do this.”
“Good luck, Damian.”
Alright. I can do this. It’s just talking to a little girl. There is nothing creepy about this. I’m not a pedophile. I’m not going to have a soccer mom shout at me and call the police on me while chasing me down in her minivan.
Waiting in the living room is Lily, Akorya, and that girl.
She’s distracted by Lily at the moment, and Akorya is lying on her back and licking the backs of her pawlike hands.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen her do anything as catlike as this.
It makes sense given how she looks, but it’s still kind of weird to see her do it.
I wonder if she’s ever gotten a hairball…
“Hey,” I say, prompting the girl to turn her head around.
Her eyes widen, her wings flutter, and… she jumps behind Lily to hide.
“Say hello to Damian,” Lily says.
I think this might be the first time I’ve ever heard Lily call me by my actual name.
It feels weird for her to call me anything other than “mon maître.”
“He-hello,” the girl says, poking her head out from behind Lily. Her voice is just as immature as her appearance.
“Hey. I’m Damian. It’s nice to meet you,” I say. “What’s your name?”
“Lenorya,” she mumbles.
Lenorya… sounds like Akorya. Let’s see, is there a nickname I can give her? Len… too boyish. Lenny… yeah, no. Lenna, maybe? “Would you mind if I call you Lenna?”
She shakes her head and I swear I can actually see a tiny bit of a smile there.
Alright. So far, so good.
Talking to a kid isn’t as hard as I thought it would be.
“I’m the owner of this dungeon, Lenna, so I’ll do my best to protect you and make sure that you can live a fun life. Alright?”
Lenna nods her head before tucking herself back behind Lily.
This girl is actually pretty adorable. I can still see her wings sticking out from behind Lily, and I can see her tail wagging slightly.
“Let me know if you ever need anything,” I say.
“Okay,” Lenna answers, still not revealing her face to me.
Alright. That should be good enough for now.
Time to sleep.
Tomorrow, it’s time for Anna.
