The bandits weren’t prepared for a battle. Moreover, without horses, they weren’t the opponents of the skilled warriors on ground battle.

In a few minutes, almost half of the bandits were killed as they were caught off guard. The warriors were merciless and ferocious. 

Reina's plan to fire the place was useful too. The bandits didn’t know whether to put off the fire or resist the orcs.

“Women? Knights! Don’t panic! Kill them!” The bald man shouted. He used his ax to face Amber. 

"Kyaa!!" The dark haired girl yelled as she waved the sword in her hand but  he steadily repelled her sword away. Being thrown away, she landed on the ground and leaped towards him. He made a big swing but she skillfully dodged to his right side and attacked him from his blind spot. The bald man swayed to the side and escaped the nimble warrior’s attack. At the same time, a dark yellow light swept over Amber but she somehow blocked it with her sword. As his strength was far stronger than hers, Amber was thrown several meters away and rolled on the ground.

Argh~~

Irijina’s eyes reddened when she saw the scene. The big woman rapidly rushed over towards the bald man while throwing her spear straight towards him. As her her long weapon flying through the air, she ran along it empty-handed as if she was trying to punch him. The bald man was fearless as he waved his battle ax to block it but before the spear fell, the tall girl quickly grabbed it and made several swings that scratched his arm and legs. He withstood the pain, ducked and made heavy swing to cut her body into two but Irijina blocked it with her long spear.

Irijina was a lot stronger than average men and her strength was easily overpower as she was thrown away and crashed on Amber's body.

"Arggg!!" Amber screamed in pain as the two girls overlapping on each other. 

Onlookers were shocked by the bald man’s strength but Reina warned in high pitched voice,

"I told you before. That man is crazy strong. Those two are not his match." 

"Lightning!" Sylvia launched a magic spell on him.

He knelt down for a while before standing up again.

"Lightning!" Her second magic attack made him knelt even longer.

The problem with Sylvia was there was cool down period of 5 minutes before she could launch another same spell. A bandit attacked her and she was forced to engage with another foe while the wounded bald man stood up.

Reina lurked in stealth and went behind the man. She raised her dagger and stabbed towards the bald man’s ass.

Puchi~~

The dagger stabbed into the bald man’s ass. He jumped up the same instant. The man wouldn’t be so unprepared if she tried to attack his neck.

Reina didn’t let go of the opportunity. She waved her dagger towards the man’s shoulder.

Schluck~~

The bald man screamed as his arm was bleeding but his arm was too thick and sturdy for much weaker Reina. She intended to cut off his hand but her dagger was stucked into his arm. He kicked away the girl on her stomach. Reina like the two others girls were not critically injured but they were lying on the ground in pain. 

The bandits were much stronger on horses but they were not easy preys.

 There were few teams that were tenaciously resisting the likes of Lyla, Sekrit, Clementine and Scott Aldiss. They weren’t as weak as the previous three bandit groups.

Their discipline and military training were much better than the previous groups.

However, without their horses, this group’s fate would be no different than the previous annihilated bandit groups.

However, the bandits were perplexed by their opponents' capability.

"Who are you guys?” The bald man’s eyes were full of anger as he shouted out while bandaging his wound.

Hiro replied: “Who am I? You dare to ask me who am I. It is I who should ask you that question. This territory belongs to me and nobody can live in here without my permission.”

“Are you from the Hyuutia family? Are you the Lord?” The bald man wasn’t as stupid as the leaders of the most bandit groups. He immediately guessed Hiro’s background.

"I am the new ruler of this land, the new owner of Hyuutia family!" Hiro raised his chin.

“I didn’t expect that you would collude with orcs. Xiao Yu… I’ll remember you. I’ll come back for you after I report this situation.” The bald man clenched his teeth. He grabbed the frightened horse that passed by them. The horse immediately turned obedient. He jumped over it and hit the horse with his legs to ride it.

Hiro shouted: “Keep dreaming! Do you think you will be able to escape from my clutches?”

Clementine acted upon killing a bandit. Although she wasn’t faster than horses she wasn’t slow either. So she was able to catch up with the horse.

“Hit the horse.” Hiro ordered. 

Leonhardt Strauch, the head of archers, shot from ten meters away. 

The bald man’s legs hit the horse’s body and the horse jumped up for half a meter and escaped the attack.

“Damn, he is good.” Hiro was surprised as he didn’t expect the bald man to be so capable.

Argh~~

The bald man’s effort to avoid the Leonhard's arrow had delayed the horse and Clementine was already at the horse’s side. She attacked with her Dirk and directly cut the horse's leg into two halves. 

The bald man jumped out and rushed to escape.  

Clementine was much faster than him. 

Moreover, bald man was badly injured which brought his morale and stamina down.

“Little Lord… You will regret your actions.” The bald man was facing a difficult situation as he was clearly in pain while defending himself against the attacks of the blonde woman. 

Clementine constantly launched herself at him before being thrown away but she always landed on her feet. 

"Regret? It is you who must regret that you have decided to rob in this master’s territory!” Hiro shouted.

While the half man was busy defending against Clementine's agility, Leonhard shot another arrow and hit the strong guy's back.

"Argggggg!" 

"Lightning." Sylvia managed to land her fourth spell after killing a bandit with her third spell. 

The bald man fell on his knees. 

Clementine was successful in cutting down the man’s head because of the last distraction made by Hiro, Leonhard and Sylvia.

“Idiot dares to threaten me! Hmph! One day, this master will lead his own men and women to conquer Orlais." 

Hiro spat on the bald man’s body.

He was becoming immune to brutalities of war after several battles.

They killed the bandits but couldn’t control the fire. So they had to wait until the next morning for the fire to get extinguished on its own.

Hiro ordered Reina to use the warriors to find treasures from the rubble. At the same time, he was checking the surrounding.

Reina had good skills with finding treasures. Although surviving hard fought battle, he was able to get more than 20,000 gold coins from the heap of rubble which made Hiro very happy.

According to Reina, the bandits should have more money. But it seems they have sent some part of their loot to the noble in Orlais.

Hiro didn’t care much as he got what he wanted. He could develop his farms and military with the money.

In addition to the gold coins, Hiro ordered the warriors to take back the weapons of the bandits as well as their corpses. He had given hundreds of corpses to Hanabi to create undead pawns. However, the number was still very lacking compared the thousands corpses gathered during previous Orlais invasion.

"Let's go back. This week has been very productive!" He shouted excitedly.
