Cammen is a Dalish young man. This year he is twenty years old.

Dalish race, like dark elves, as distant descendants of the legendary elves, age slightly slower than human. A Dalish at twenty years old looks like a human teenager.

For that reason, Cammen looks younger than his actual age.

A seemingly fragile boy with white skin and brownish hair.

He lives in a nomad camp in the middle of vast dense forest, Korcari Wilds.

His father works as a furniture craftsman, a gentle man. He’s rarely angered.

His mother is a full-time housewife, but her bow arm is one of the best around. By the way, she gets angry often.

Obviously, the two of them are Dalish.

Cammen slowly but surely grew up under their care.

"Geez! If we don’t hurry up all of them will be gone already!!”

Cammen calls out while rushing through the dense woods.

The one who is with him is another dalish like him, his female childhood friend, Gheyna.

Since Gheyna is one year older than him, she keeps acting like she is his big sister.

The target towards which they are racing is a wounded deer.

Dalish is a nomad race that makes hunting as their lifestyles.

Thus, it is common for the members to have rangers, archers and beast tamers as their vocations.

They do not only hunt for food, they actually hunt as hobby. Best hunters would make best male marriage candidates.

Gheyna who is an active hunter, often goes outside camp while Cammen, a good archer but beneath her in skills reluctantly follows her.

Cammen is similar to his mother in that he uses a bow, but running is a weakness of his which he often got teased about.

“You are so slow!!”

“…why don’t just leave me behind…”

Bitter words like those slip past his lips before he becomes aware of them.

Gheyna, who gets offended by such words,

“How dare you speak like that!! And I even went out of my way to invite you!”

“It’s not like I asked you to! And I don’t really…”

The two of them would hunt animal and then go to the lake and watch the dancing undines.

Hearing him say something like that after looking forward to this for a whole week, slight tears begin to gather in Gheyna’s eyes.

“Cammen you idiot!! I don’t care about you any longer!!”

She yells at him and then run away.

Cammen, who is left standing there alone, are unable to understand why he gets yelled at and why it makes him feel so guilty.

Annoyed at these unreasonable feelings, he turns around to head back the way he comes. But then,

“Uwah!!”

Then he collides with something and it makes him fall on his backside.

Ouch…”

The shock from landing on his backside makes him scowl and he raises his eyes only to find a single woman standing there.

Long and slender legs and a pair of voluptuous breasts which splendor cannot be hidden by mere clothing.

But what surprises the young man even more than her ripe body is the fact that she is actually a dalish.

The valley between her breasts is exposed with flowerish tattoo decorating the area between chest and her neck. Her thighs and legs are exposed with some tattoos on them.

"Mithra...why are you here?"

The athletic girl called Mithra offers her hand. He grabs her hand and being pulled up.

"I am the chief guard of the tribe. It is my job to patrol around to see if people like you get into any danger."

Mithra answers uninterestedly.

Cammen often blushes around Gheyna as he has  crush on his childhood friend. But he is now fidgeting and blushing before the strong looking girl of his age.

Of course she would stand out as a Dalish fighter, but another contributing factor is definitely her gorgeous appearance.

"You don't really stand out as a man, do you?"

Seeing how Cammen is acting, the woman teases him.

She smiles as she speaks to him.

That face is too charming, it makes Cammen feels his face turn red so he hurriedly tries to leave.

But the woman grabs his arm lightly.

“Eh?”

Then she says to the surprised young man,

“Your hand. You scraped it.”

Looking at his hand, he sees that blood is flowing from his palm.

It seems like when he collided with her and fell on his ass he used his hands to protected himself, resulting in them getting scrapped up.

And the woman notices that and thus stops him.

“Ah…I’m fine.”

In comparison to the pain from a wound like this, having the woman’s hand holding on to him makes him feel far more embarrassed.

That’s why he tries to make her release him but the woman holds onto him and then took out a handkerchief from her pocket. She then uses it to clean his wound.

Gently holding onto his hand with both of hers and then carefully removing the soil and blood on his palm.

Due to their difference in height the woman has to lean forward a bit, which gives him a generous peek of her already prominently displayed cleavage, making him at a loss on what to do.

"I’m not skilled at nursing. When you get home, please clean the wound again and have your family treat it.”

The woman said that with a small smile on her face and then left the handkerchief in Cammen’s hand. She then rose from her position.

A sweet smell still lingers from where she had been.

It has been two hours since Cammen had returned home from that place while still in a daze.

He had remained where he had bumped into the woman for one hour.

After that, he had wandered around for another hour before making it home, not able to remember a single step he had taken.

His house is a well made wooden cottage attached to two large trees. He lives with in there with his parents.

Having her son come home without even calling out a greeting makes his mother Iena call out to him instead.

“You, when did you get home?”

“Eh?…aah, right now.”

“Is that so. Oh right, Gheyna came over you know? She asked me to give this to you.”

As she says that she hands over a slice of raw meat covered with a large leaf.

“…I see.”

Cammen ignores it with an expressionless face and returns to his room.

Behind his back his mother called out “Make sure you thank her!”, but he simply lies down on his bed without answering.

The one who dominates all his thoughts is that woman, Mithra.

That beautiful chief guard of the tribe who is not only good in archery but also the only Dalish who is good in close combat.

Her smell and the feeling of being held by her hands had been burned into his brain.

The sensual body of a mature woman that is so different from a slightly younger Gheyna stimulates the boy’s sexual instincts as a male.

But the young man that couldn’t understand that what he feels is sexual arousal, is just confused by the woman he couldn’t get out of his head.

He couldn’t get her out of his head and becomes intoxicated by the lingering sensations.

He is indeed crazily in love with his childhood friend, Gheyna but what he feels is not something like love.

The next day, Cammen searches for Mithra. It is not a proactive search.

Usually as the one who holds the highest position in security, she would lurk around the vast forest.

Rather than running around looking for her, it is more like when he wanders to places outside the camp randomly, his eyes would automatically search for a glimpse of her.

Even Cammen himself understands that searching for her like that would only give him a minuscule chance of finding her.

Even so, he keeps seeking out a glimpse of her in the woods.

The handkerchief that he got that day is always inside Cammen’s pocket.

He wants to give it back. And then he wants to give her his gratitude.

Inside the depths of his heart other feelings lies, but what those are, what those feelings were called, he himself has no idea.

When he says he is going to go out into the city, which is very odd behaviour for him, Gheyna happily tells him “It can’t be helped, I guess I will have to go with you!” and follows him.

Even as Gheyna let out remarks like “That flower is so cute!” or “That fruit looks so tasty!”, Cammen ignores her and just keeps searching for that Mithra.

Despite thinking “If it’s this far she has to be here somewhere!” Cammen couldn’t help but feel like there is a chance she wouldn’t be here, so he keeps searching while his heart aches.

As he keeps searching like that, he becames sluggish from being walking fast for too long.

“Are you alright? Your face is really pale you know?”

To Gheyna who asks him with a worried face, Cammen answers,

“…I’m fine….”

While he might had said that, even now he looks like he would fall over.

Gheyna supports Cammen and leads him to the elevated root of a large tree.

Cammen has a pretty look that is on par with Mithra and her breasts are not small although beneath Mithra in size. Her crimson coloured hair is rare among the Dalish. She is almost as sexy as Mithra but with cute appeal.

As Cammen let out a pleasant sigh and raises his head, he sees something miraculous on the other side of a line of trees.

It is the chief guard of the tribe, Mithra.

Undoubtedly.

There is no way he could mistake her.

Slightly tanned fair skin with striking light brownish strands of hair and that toned body.

That eye-catching figure that stands out so much from all the surrounding trees.

The feeling of illness that had been there a moment earlier vanishes without a trace.

Cammen hurriedly chases after her.

"What?" Gheyna who was  searching in her bag just now, looks at the root with no trace of her beloved boy.

He desperately run towards the direction Mithra had walk towards.

If one looks at him now one wouldn’t be able to say that he dislikes running.

Because his face shines with joy.

But then, he notices something strange.

The direction she is heading towards is not towards the camp, but rather further from it.

Their camp is like a city built inside a forest.

But that doesn't change the fact they live within the vast, dense and mysterious forest, Korcari Wilds.

The Dalish hunters often play within area outside the camp which is often frequented by animals but the area Cammen, Gheyna and Mithra are now at is already outside safe zone. Now, Mithra is walking further outward.

Cammen before he knows it he has lost sight of her.

“Where?”

While holding the handkerchief in his right hand, he fervently searches through the forest.

It is a forest close to his hometown, and it is even close to his actual home.

While as a Dalish adult, he wouldn’t get lost, actually searching and finding someone inside is a different matter.

After walking around and searching for five hours, just as he is filled with sorrow and had begun to give up, he hears a voice.

A voice in conversation.

It has to be that woman, is what he thought and thus headed in the direction of the voice.

He run, sees a shadowy humanoid figure and…then hides.

There is no option but to hide. Because the scene he stumbled upon is…

The Dalish is definitely there.

That face and that voice is definitely those of that woman, Mithra.

She is being surrounded by a group of men and women. They wear unknown attire. He then notices something shocking.

Their ears are shorter than Dalish, which means..human from the plain!

He wants to jump but his cowardice stops him.
