A few minutes later.

"Ugh... that was awful."

Lying in bed in her pajamas, Rimu stroked her waist with teary eyes. She spent a lot of energy laughing in the bath. Riku tickled her so much that her waist got sore. She even wet herself in the bathroom.

'Fortunately, it was in the bath! Fortunately, it was in the bath!'

If she had pissed in any other place, she couldn't have concealed it and had to bear the shame.

'Damn you Riku...! How come this shota's hand is so lewd... Did you take a Viagra before this?'

Rimu glared at Riku with an angry look. Riku approached her apologetically.

"I'm sorry, Rimu. I went too overboard..."

He had checked his stuff and didn't find anything broken. Even the tokusatsu movie DVD that he had borrowed yesterday remained unscathed.

'As long as the DVD is safe, nothing else matters. I couldn’t compensate the rental store if that DVD broke! Fortunately, Rimu didn't break anything, everything is in place without a scratch... I did a bad thing to her...'

Rimu felt wronged, but she was also at a loss. Why did she get angry so easily...?
It seems her mentality also regressed to a 10-year old’s.

She warily looked at Riku's apologetic face.

'Now that reminds me, Riku always apologized first when we fought, even though he had done nothing wrong. Unfortunately, the me back then was so stubborn and ignored him time and time again, causing our relationship to grow distant...'

Seeing her still silent, Riku got more worried.

"Ne~ Rimu, are you still angry?"

"Nah, I'm not angry at all."

Rimu turned her eyes away and sunk her head into her pillow.

'Now that I think about it, this guy is kinda cute...
A few years later he will grow into a bishounen and become popular with girls. Damn!'

Rimu became depressed. This is the initial reason why, in her previous life, the twins' relationship began to sour. One side was a beauty while the other was a beast of which the beast was obviously her. Riku has grown into a stunning prince, while Rimu turned into a goblina!

Although there exist laws against discrimination, deep down everyone likes beauty and despises the ugly. It is an instinct in people's hearts.

Rimu had to endure this 'beauty and beast (lol)' ridicule as long as Riku was near her. That's why after graduation, she chose to enter a university far from her home and started living alone. She found out that Riku was accepted to Harvard University with a scholarship a month later.

It's also understandable that after his graduation Riku smoothly became CEO, while she ran into failure after failure searching for jobs. In the end, is a person's appearance everything?

No, skill and talent are also important, otherwise, how would Riku be able to get a scholarship.

But in the end looks determine most things.

How many times did she see other recruits who were less qualified than she got selected instead because of their appearance?

Rimu slowly raised her face from the pillow and muttered.

"I just feel worthless, I had lived a dog's life this whole time. I wanna redo my -ing life..."

Riku panicked. 'Oh crap, did I break her?'

Riku sat beside Rimu and tried to console her with utmost care.

"C... cheer up, Rimu. Look, I was in the wrong.
I'm sorry... I'll buy your favorite cake from Angel Whiff tomorrow as an apology!
You still have a bright future in front of you."

Angel Whiff was a famous sweets shop that sold delicious cakes in Kusanagi City. The vanilla flavored cake from this shop was Rimu's favorite. She was one of the regular customers in this shop. Riku had known this perfectly and used their cake to bribe Rimu when her mood was bad.

The cons were... the cake was expensive, thrice the price compared with other cake shops.

Riku gritted his teeth and gave up a chunk of his allowance. As long as this princess was satisfied...

Hearing his words, Rimu's eyes glittered with excitement.

'Future... Well, yeah... He is right. This is no time to feel depressed.
I can still change that miserable future into a bright one.'

She had forgot the fact that she already back to the past. The bad future hasn't happened yet. Everything can still be fixed.

Earlier, I contemplated which path I should take. But I was wrong.
I should broaden my vision. Art, music, language... no need to fixed on those things.
In the end, those things are just tools for working in the society.
And why must we work? Of course, to create wealth, status, and prosperity.
Every mistake I have done in my previous life, I’ll fix in this life.
Every opportunity I missed in my previous life; I'll take in this life.
As long as I succeed, all is well!'

With that determination, Rimu clenched her fist. Her mood suddenly felt better as her source of distress was blown away by Riku's words.

"Heh... hehehehehe... Thanks, Riku, for the reminder... Yeah...
I still have a bright future in front of me... *chuckles* Hahahahahahahahah!"

Rimu showed an evil grin and laughed loudly.

In the side, Riku looked at his sister anxiously with sweat pouring on his back.

'Seriously, did I break her?'
