Riku gazed at the boy in front of him with a perplexed expression. He didn't understand why this boy is so mad and looking at him with hatred as if he had killed off his family. But as a cultured person, he has to keep his cool.

"Good morning, Mimasaka-kun. Do you need anything from me?" Riku smiled.

His smile, added with his appearance and gesture was looking so lovely, making anyone who looked at him feel pleased in their eyes. Most of the people he faced up until now were smitten with this trick, allowing him to smooth any kind of disputes.

Whatever the reason, you have to maintain your smile, even at facing your adversaries.

However, for some reason, that trick didn't apply to Mimasaka Mamoru. His rage only intensifies after he looked at Riku's smile. He snorted as he folded his arms.

"Hmph, so with that smile, you've deceived everyone, huh? Including Akina too... However, too bad for you, that won't work on me."

"Huh? What do you mean?"  Riku was stupefied.

"You still play dumb with me? Fine, then I'll say it out loud... You are just a creep. You used your looks to deceive everyone. You didn't even differentiate between genders and seduces anyone on sight to do your bidding, including Akina. Am I right?"

Mamoru spewed all of his insults. He thought by doing this in front of Akina, he could expose Riku's true nature. He hopes Akina would open her eyes and come back to his side.

Hearing Mamoru's words, Riku was astonished, he felt wronged at Mamoru's accusation. As far as he recalls, he always does commendable deeds and intended to be a good kid, helping others and never trying to cause trouble. He did his best to help anyone in need of help.

When he met students who have difficulty carrying test papers to the faculty office, he helped.

When there are classmates who have difficulty with the lesson, he patiently helped.

When there are students who their family burdened by debt, he introduced them to a good lawyer. (×Akina's connection)

When there are students who have an urgent need for money, especially medical bills, he actively collects donations. He didn't take any cent from it.

He did his best to negotiate with their classmates' parents to improve his classroom's facility. As for other classrooms, he didn't have any intention to interfere.

Etc... etc...

Where the heck did he deceived anyone?

Never!

In the first place, why he did all of this for?

For fame? No!
For thanks? No!

Everything was for Rimu and Rimu alone!

Riku did all of this to make Rimu happy and feel at ease.

However, to do that, everyone in her surroundings must be happy too. It just won't do if the environment filled with negative feelings. With a healthy environment, one could reach healthy state of mind. That's what he believes.

Besides, there is another reason.

Riku was completely aware of what Rimu did in their 2nd grade. Because he was weak, he was bullied. Rimu had to impersonate him and solve all of his trouble with brute force. It's not like Rimu was strong, on the contrary, her grip power is not that different from any child. She could triumph all her fight because of her unbridled use of tools and trickery. It's not guaranteed that those tricks will be effective every time.

If he could make everyone in his school feels indebted to him, they will definitely become his ally. In this part, its similar to Mamoru's 100 friends theme, but on a much grander scale.

There won't be anyone who wanted to bully him. But if there it is...

Hmph, my fist is stronger right now. I also have collected lots of powerful allies to my side.
Let's see who dares to bully me.

He had trained under Kyoko's tutelage for a while. He confident there won't be anyone with a similar age who can defeat him. Rimu doesn't need to do any dangerous fight in his stead anymore. Even Mimasaka Mamoru in front of him is not a threat to him if things go toward that direction.

Akina who has her name mentioned also shocked. For a moment, she couldn't comprehend why her name is coming out from Mamoru's mouth. She looked at her 'childhood friend' with incredulity.

"Mamoru... you know nothing." Akina coldly said.

She had accompanied Riku since half of the 2nd grade. At first, he(?) did give her lots of questionable orders, but when she thought of it by now, it must be a test to prove her loyalty to him.

And that thought is already proved. In the 3rd grade, he changed completely and started to give her the real orders. Akina saw with her own eyes and got involved directly with what Riku did to help and improve everyone in his surroundings. He even got reconciled with all of the kids who bullied him, including that disgusting homo. Riku did all of this voluntarily without expecting any repayment.

Deceived? Me?
If you want to talk nonsense, do it in your dreams!

Mamoru's facial expression turned ugly, he didn't expect Akina to choose Riku's side.

"Wha? Akina! Don't you hear my words? He is a scum! Why are you still defending him? What is your relationship with him?"

Riku went speechless, he feels like the boy in front of him can't be reasoned with words. Anything he says would've futile as it seems Mamoru was so adamant to slander him at all costs.

Hey dude, what's wrong with you?
Did I ate any of your family's rice?
There is no need to do it to this extent, right?

Akina sighed, 'Hmph, do you have the word "loyalty" in your dictionary?'

Relationship with Riku... She thought for a moment to answer Mamoru's question.

  • Friends... That's too common. Her relationship with Mamoru also called friends, right?
  • Lovers... Well, they didn't do any kyakya-ufufu things, so this is also not right.
  • Master and servant... Maybe so, but if an Arakawa becomes a servant, it would spell trouble if the family heard it.

Akina glanced at Riku's face, she thought what would his answer to this question. She thinks again and remembered a certain conversation in the distant past. It should be in her 2nd grade...

That was already a few years ago and she didn't even remember who she had spoken to, but the conversation still remained in her memory.

...

...

Akina: "Your Excellency, why is it that boys only befriend other boys and make it a big deal if one of them get along with a girl? The same applies vice-versa. The girls also choose to gossip with other girls and didn't mingle with the boys."

Riku(?): "Eh, ah...? That's... Umm... Yeah, that's because, if they get along with the opposite sex, their relationships would be different than regular friends, right? So, they can't be called one." <Trying to be smart-ass>

Akina: "Eh? Is that so...? Then, what is it called?"

Riku(?): "Well, if they are opposite sex, so maybe their relationships should be called..."

...

...

"Sefure (Sex Friend)?" Akina blurted out.

PPPFFFFFTTTT!!!

Riku and Mamoru have the urge to spat blood for a different reason.

'Wh... Wha...What are you saying, A-chan?! When did we engage in such an obscene act?
Can you not saying something so misleading?! Where the heck did you learn that word?'

Riku facepalmed. It seems he had to have another discussion with her later. He had to sort things out the misunderstanding soon, or else it would be lead to disastrous consequences.

Meanwhile, Mamoru...

"As I thought... Akina, you..."

Akina's words shock Mamoru to the soul greatly and left an everlasting remark in his mind. He lost for words and tears welled up in his eyes, 'To think you've already went so far to that kind of relationship!'

We're still 5th grade, aren't we?
But you already did such things secretly behind my back.
Immoral!

Before Riku could say something to solve the misunderstanding, Mamoru dashed away, leaving the two stood blankly. He shouted with all his might.

"Akina, you stupiiiiiiiiiiid!!!!"

He couldn't accept his beloved childhood sweetheart is no longer a vir-geen. He didn't return to his class and go straight to his home, holed himself in his room.

The other two could only stare at his figure until he was out of sight blankly. After a while, Akina broke the silence first.

"What's wrong with him? I can't comprehend his act just now..."

Akina sighed. then she looked at Riku with a questioning look in her eyes,

"By the way, Your Excellency, what is sefure meant?"

Riku could only facepalm. It seems today will be a busy day.

The Unseen Truth

If you read back at chapter 5, you should've been able to guess by now...

Who is the mastermind behind the assassination...?
