In another location... Kurumin's apartment.

Sakamura Kumi sit in front of her PC. Around her, few empty beer cans sprawled messily in the floor. Her teacher uniform was thrown in the side, crumpled like rag towels. Her room was disastrous like a wrecked ship. Despite of that, Kumi pay it no heed as this was her normal daily life.

She looking at the monitor with a serious expression.

Daily popularity poll... First Place: [The Chronicles of Mad Villainess]

This fact made Sakamura Kumi's hand trembled. This trembling is not from fear, nor from anxiety. The emotion that welled up inside her heart is...

Delight!

Yesterday, after getting an email from Rym-sensei containing 144 illustrations, she immediately added them one by one to her novel. And just in one night, her daily view-count tripled, even surpassed her weekly views.

The reaction from her readers is various, but they're mostly positive.

This is just day 1, if in one day is worth than a week of the view-count, then what about day 2, day 3... If this trend continues, novelization is no longer just a mere dream!

"As expected! Trusting Rym-sensei is the correct choice! Not only her artwork is superb, but her hand is also fast! Although she did promise to complete it in a week, but to think she already completed it less than 3 days! Marvelous!" Kumi honestly praised Rym-sensei.

At first, Kumi couldn't help but bleed her heart for spending so much money to hire Rym-sensei. But now, she can understand. This high price is appropriate with Rym-sensei's skill.

One hundred and forty-four images are clearly not a small amount. But this skilled artist managed to accomplish it in just 2-3 days. Not only that, Kumi only needs to explain her commissions in one big list and Rym-sensei easily fulfills all of that.

The color, the shading, the angle position of every character... There is no need for any revision. Every criteria is perfect and Kumi is satisfied with it.

It's as if Rym-sensei already knows Kumi's preference.

"All that left is just wait for the publisher to notice my work!" Kumi smiled creepily.

She couldn't help but fantasize the moment she became a successful writer. Lots of royalties will flow into her bank account, joined the novelists top circle, participating in AMC fest, getting a manga or anime adaptation... And at last, she won't have to worry about money and scrapping anything to live in this shabby apartment anymore.

But, Kumi's overjoy expression suddenly become gloomy.

"Now that I think carefully about it, I don't have to order colored illustrations yet... In my current state, just sketches is already enough to bolster up some popularity. AAAHHH!!" Kumi lamented.

Her greedy nature showed itself. It wouldn't matter whether Rym-sensei drawings is perfect or not, she would still grumble about something. If the drawing wasn't good, Kumi would definitely complain. But even if the drawing is perfect, she still lamented for her decision to order colored illustrations.

It's human nature to always dream of 'what if' situation.

In her mind, there wouldn't have much difference whether sketches or colored illustrations is added. Her novel is still a web novel anyway, a sketch is already enough to stimulate the readers. It won't be too late to reorder Rym-sensei to make a complete, colored version of the sketches after her novel is novelized. At that time, the money would come from the publishing company, not her private money.

If she only ordered sketches to Rym-sensei, at least she could have cut the price by more than half and save some money.

Looking at the rainy weather from her apartment window, she sighed.

'Oh well, it's already happened anyway. At least, the illustrations is a top notch. For the rest of this month, I'll just eat salted rice and drink tap water!'

As the idiom says, a person's temperament is influenced by the amount of rice their family stored1Poverty makes a person to become stingy.!

Suddenly, her smartphone vibrated, notifying that she have a call.

Kumi hurriedly grabbed her smartphone, hoping that it was from a publisher company. But after looking at the screen, she sighed again. It was from her senpai, Kitagawa Kayoko. She listlessly accepted the call.

: "Hello, Kayoko-senpai?"

: "Oh, Kumi? Do you have time?"

: "Well, I do but... If it's money I borrowed, I'm sorry but I don't have any to pay you back right now...
Can you wait for my next payday, senpai? Pweeese~"

: "...Heh? I do not expect from the very beginning you will pay me back anyway. More importantly..."

Hearing her senpai's words, Kumi's eyes brightened. A happy smile bloomed from her lips.

'What? Is she calling off my debt?! Seriously? If that's the case ... then thank goodness, I can still buy seaweed for my side dishes! Senpai is so nice!'

It took no more than 10 seconds for her smile to change into shock.

: "Grab your stuff and pack out!! If you can't pay me with your money, then I'll have you pay with your body!
Come to my place right now!!"

BEEP! BEEP!! BEEP!!!

Kumi stood-still on the spot, trying to comprehend the situation. She even still holds her smartphone, not realizing Kayoko already cut off the connection.

BLAAARRRR!!!

The sky, as if it responded to the situation, let out a thunderous roar, snapping Kumi out from her shock.

"Wha... What happened?" Kumi bewildered.

She recalled the previous conversation from her senpai just now.

If you can't pay me with your money, then I'll have you pay with your body!
...I'll have you pay with your body!
...Pay with your body!

WHAAAAAAT!???  ΣΣ(゚Д゚;)
