Xira - a menacing creature that feeds on human souls, they prefer humans who can't see them i.e. those who don't possess magical energies.

After a couple of weeks since I met Tachikawa, we started to routinely patrols the area together, we fought off Xiras and other spiritual entity that could endanger human's lives. When we started to fought together, thanks to her, things becomes slightly easier for me, her white barriers are really helpful when in comes on defense, I can now handle up to 3 Xiras at once, I thought nothing could stop us, I was naïve.
One normal school day, during the lunch break, I was in my classroom eating my lunch when I a Xira at the rooftop, this Xira looks different, different from what I've fought in the past. This new Xira has skulls on each shoulders, it's body is much more bulkier and robust, I saw it roaming around the rooftop.
I quickly run towards Tachikawa's classroom, I opened her room, look at her desk, she's not there,
[Screw it]
I said to myself,
I was about to run upstairs when I saw a mob of students coming down normally, I tried to push my way in, then after I got off the mob and on the floor, Tachikawa saw me and approach me,
[You alright Kirisawa-san?]
she said to me,
[Xira, there's a Xira on the rooftop, we need to hurry]
I said,
we both run towards the rooftop, when we were Infront of the door of the rooftop, we quickly catch our breath, then I opened the door, there I saw three girls cheering a boy Infront of them, I look at their uniforms, seems like they're also students here.
I look closer on the boy, he wields a katana, then I focus my attention on the Xira, it is really different from what I hunted in the past, Goji-san and I haven't encounter a Xira that looks like this.
[You can do it Furoshi-kun!!!!]
the girl with short dark blue hair shouted,
[I'll look out for these two, just focus on the enemy]
the girl with long green hair said,
[Be careful Furoshi-kun, you might trip over, it would look uncool]
the girl with red twin tails said jokingly,
[Don't worry, because I am here]
the boy said while taking his stance,
I was about to open my bag to get my gauntlet, when the boy dash towards the Xira,
[QUICKDRAW SLASH!!!]
he blitz passed the Xira and just like that, the Xira's head falls down on the ground, before it slowly vanish, then he slowly to put his katana back on the sheath.
[What display of power]
I said to myself,
then the boy turned around and was about to head towards the three girls, when he saw me,
[Hey!! you there, have you seen that?]
he said happily,
[Ummm, yeah]
I said while scratching my head,
Tachikawa and I approach them, the boy run towards me and said,
[Hey Hey did you saw what I did earlier?]
[Yeah, but what's with that Xira? it seems different from the regular ones]
I said,
[Ohhhh that? just a mid-tier Xira, they are dangerous if you're not careful]
he said,
[Ummmm]
I said,
[Furoshi, name's Makoto, Furoshi]
he said,
then the three girls surrounded us,
[Hey there, I'm Sumeragi, Ai, Furoshi-kun's girlfriend]
the girl with short dark blue hair said,
[My name is Rika, Kotohana, Rika, nice to meet you]
the girl with red twin tails said,
[Sorry for the late introduction, I'm Ono, Himekawa, I'm a Miko]
the girl with long green hair said, while she bows,
[I'm Tachikawa, Mimi, you can call me Mimi and I'm a Miko too]
Tachikawa-san said, happily
[Kirisawa, Taka is my name]
I said,
[Makoto-san, what are the difference between mid-tier Xira and a regular Xira]
I said,
[Huh? you don't know? haven't your dojo taught them to you?]
he said,
[The thing is, he did not attend one]
Tachikawa-san said,
[Ehhhhh?]
the group said,
[My father and my master only taught me how to fight]
I said,
[For starters, the regular Xiras can possess humans, they only chose those who can't see them, to avoid confrontation, then they will feed on human soul to quench their hunger]
he said,
[So if they're not hungry, they won't attack?]
I asked,
[Yup, but with mid-tier Xiras, when they got hungry, their power multiplies, I'm talking about, their skin becomes more durable, their strength is more powerful than regular one, and they will attack without concern on their own well being]
he said,
that sounds dangerous, I need train more for the future battles.
The bell rang, signaling that our lunch break is over, we all said our goodbye to each other and headed towards our respective classroom.
As the class goes on, I kept thinking on how to improve and hone my skills, after couple of hours thinking, the class ended, in the end I can't think of anything, I gave up and went on my dorm.
