I'm happily running on my neighborhood, then I looked back, Yuka is following me, I don't know where we headed, but I was so happy at that time, then while we run together, the scenery changed, the whole surroundings is burning, a branch was about to fall on me,
[No!!!!!!!]
I shouted,
I woke up, I'm catching my breath, like I was on a marathon, then after a couple seconds, I've calmed down,
[It was just a dream]
I said,
[I don't know what happened to you Yuka, I hope you're alright, I want to see you]
I said, while I grab our picture when we were kids.
I looked at the clock, I'm close to being late, I hurriedly take a shower, put my uniform, and grab a bread and eat it on the way. I barely made it, then I saw the boy on the rooftop the other day approach me,
[Hey, don't slack off now, you need to be punctual, what would happen if there's a Xira and you're late]
he said,
[Since you're here, you don't really need me]
I said,
[Hey hey, I'm just kidding with you, don't take it seriously]
he said,
then he kept talking to me like we're bestfriends, at the hallway, we part ways, because we belong to different class.
The bell rang, signaling the end of our class, I check up on Tachikawa-san, she approached me and said,
[Yo!!! Taka, let's head back together]
[Since when are we on first name basis?]
I said,
[Don't mind it, come one, come on]
she said, as she slaps my back.
After gearing up for tonight, I met up with Tachikawa-san, then we start patrolling the area, we were near the school, when we heard a girl screamed,
[Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!]
we followed the sound, then when we were at the school entrance, we saw a boy that's unconscious, then Tachikawa-san ask the girl,
[What happened here?]
Tachikawa-san said,
[He suddenly collapsed]
the girl said,
then I looked at the boy closely, I saw a thin line of energy coming from his head, I followed it, then I saw it, it was a mid-tier Xira, it was
about to eat the boy's soul,
[Finally, a chance to test my power]
I thought to myself, as I charge to it,
[NORTHERN FIST STYLE, RAGING WATERFALL!!!!]
I punched as hard as I can, but the Xira didn't budge, it let go of the soul, then it looked at me and punched me in the face,
[Arrgghhh!!!!!!!]
I was sent flying to where Tachikawa-san was, that punch is really strong, I haven't experienced something like this, then I looked at the boy's soul, thankfully it fuses to his body immediately, then Tachikawa-san said,
[Hey miss, drag that boy out of here, Leave!!!!]
I desperately try to get up, but my knees won't respond,
[This is it huh? is this your limit huh? Taka!!!!, you can't bring back Yuka, if you're this pathetic]
I thought to myself,
I tried so hard to stand up, but every time I was about to stand, my knees would give up,
[Don't worry, I'll protect you]
Tachikawa-san said,
she then stand Infront of me,
[KABE!!!]
she then erected a white barrier between her and the mid-tier Xira, the Xira lounges at her, the white barrier breaks, then the mid-tier Xira punched Tachikawa-san, she was sent flying, then I looked at where she landed, she's unconscious, the mid-tier Xira was about to jump at me,
[Die!!!!!]
someone suddenly falls down from the sky, crushing the mid-tier Xira, the smoke slowly clears up, it's a boy, I was about to ask his name, when he suddenly jumps, then my sight started to get blurred, finally I collapsed.
When I woke up, Tachikawa-san is sleeping right besides me, then I looked around,
[Where am I?]
I said,
[You're at the school Infirmary]
someone said,
[Who are you?]
I said,
then the shadow figure steps forward, revealing her face, it's a girl,
[I'm Shinomiya Minami]
the girl with violet hair said,
her bangs covers her eyes,
[Shin-kun asked me to bring you here]
she said,
[Shin-kun?]
I said,
[The one who saved you]
she said,
the boy earlier, so his name is Shin,
[Wooooaaaaaa!!!!]
Tachikawa-san said,
she woke up,
[It's alright]
I said,
[What happened?]
Tachikawa-said,
[A guy named, Shin, saved us]
I said,
[Well then, I'll take my leave]
Shinomiya-san said, as she closed the door of the infirmary,
[Wait, I need to talk to--]
I said,
I tried to stand up, but I still can't, I want to meet this Shin-kun,
[Hey, rest up]
Tachikawa-san said,
So I just did that.
I woke up at dawn, I can finally move my body, so I wake up Tachikawa-san and said,
[Hey Tachikawa-san, we need to get back to our respective dorm, before anyone comes in]
I said,
so we went back to our respective dorm, then I take a shower, wear my uniform and not long after, it's already morning, I head straight to school. During the class, I kept thinking about what happened last night, I blame myself for being weak, couple of hours later, the class ended, I went to Tachikawa-san's class, she's already gone, so I head back to my dorm alone.
After I geared up for the night, I head outside, while walking, I saw Tachikawa-san walking in the street, so I approached her,
[Yo]
I said,
[Hey]
she said,
we were patrolling the area together, when I saw a mid-tier Xira about to possess someone, I quickly dash towards it, then I pushed the man who was about to get possessed,
[Hey what are you doing?!! Why did you push me?!!]
he said,
[I'm sorry]
Tachikawa-san said,
then I grab the mid-tier Xira's face and forcefully drag it to the nearest open place I could think of, the school grounds.
With the element of surprise, I surprisingly drag the mid-tier Xira, but when we were nearing the school grounds, it regains composure, and resist me, I can't fight back, it's strength overpowers mine, then the mid-tier Xira grabs my arm and throws me,
[Arrrrrggghhhhh!!!!]
I was sent flying and crashed on a tree, Tachikawa-san was about to put up a barrier, when the mid-tier Xira jumps on her, the mid-tier Xira scratch her using it's sharp nails, Tachikawa-san screamed in pain, then the mid-tier Xira punched her, she was sent flying, I looked at her direction, she's already unconscious.
