Slightly Interesting Topics In The Middle Of An Army

Pertaining to what Tongqiu was reading... well, he was in truth mostly looking around for any actual, seemingly helpful topic rather than just reading anything to see if there's a hidden important data at some point in any of them.

He was no newbie regarding surfing in the internet, and even more so, when it came to, well, 'differentiating' the multiple types of topics that went from one extreme to the other like... tags.

Anyway, he wasn't an idiotic, ignorant dummy in the internet and as such, he avoided reading most obvious-clickbaits, tricky-clickbaits, uninteresting topics, useful information and so on; he instead went for the ones who he 'felt' were somewhat worthy. Now, whether or not they were just as he 'felt' or not, was unknown, since Tongqiu is too lazy to check them up later on or in boredom.

For an example, from the following topic, Tongqiu only opened up and read two of them -namely 'Guiding Voices vs System' and 'Top TEN ordinary classes!! (according to renown pros)'- while the rest were cruelly brushed aside from even a second glance from him:

—'The most beautiful Basic-grade flora!' | (119M Upvotes) - (12M Comments) | Posted 14 days ago

—'The most beautiful Low-grade flora!' | (131M Upvotes) - (7M Comments) | Posted 2 days ago

—'Tailor is the best sub-class ever! And here is why...' | (0 Upvotes) - (2,9B Comments) | Posted 10 days ago

—'Sexist game! Disgusting male fantasy!' | (200M Upvotes) - (5,19B Comments) | Posted 3 hours ago

—'Guiding Voices vs System' | (3,59B Upvotes) - (11,79B Comments) | Posted 1 day ago

—'Top TEN ordinary classes!! (according to renown pros)' | (4,01B Upvotes) - (17,11B Comments) | Posted 1 day ago

—'I JUST HAD SEX' <Staff's note, this thread has been verified as not violating the norms and regulations> | (555M Upvotes) - (2,21B Comments) | Posted 3 days ago

—'Soloing a 3 Star Elite grade BOSS!!!' | (3,01B Upvotes) - (5,03B Comments) | Posted 4 days ago

—'Soloing a 2 Star Elite grade BOSS!!' | (415M Upvotes) - (1,12B Comments) | Posted 20 days ago

—'Soloing a 1 Start Elite grade BOSS!' | (79M Upvotes) - (115M Comments) | Posted 1 month, 4 days ago

—'Little Maiden Phoenix is a gorgeous female!' | (5,11B Upvotes) - (20.19B Comments) | Posted 6 days ago

'Ah... this is really somehow mediocre.'

Tongqiu thought as he decided to flash a glance towards a few of them fast, just to see how these posts were the hottest topics in the forums of the entire Rising Essence community.

For the soloing posts, it was actually the same guy posting them called 'Aodaba'. There was a little introduction to his first post -'soloing a 1 star elite mob, no, BOSS'- in which he announced his nickname here and in Rising Essence was the same, someone aspiring to be famous, practically.

His first post had a 15 minute video of him dying over and over again, though this guy didn't had the capabilities, his hardwork was somewhat commendable even if it was only to be famous, or rather, be acknowledged for being great.

His second post showed how his previous silly and unnecessary flashy movements changed to that of a basic ordinary warrior -in the eyes of Tongqiu-, and didn't had an extensive video for content, instead having 3 videos of 3-5 minutes each; it was pretty neat overall for someone so weak and untalented, thought Tongqiu.

Finally, his last post had only 2 videos; one of 1:55 minutes and the other of 3:03 minutes. It was much better than the last two and whether he had new help or learned himself, it was obvious that his own playstyle became much more better in all ways. This post was also the true beginning for acknowledgement and for becoming famous to this Aodaba.

It was whatever.

For the 'I JUST HAD SEX' post, he already had a hunch about what it was. Sure enough, the first few words he saw with just a lightning fast glance was a dude, who wrote about his relationship with a NPC... people are so green sometimes.

Before seriously, or at least trying, reading those two 'slightly' important threads, Tongqiu checked out the one about the Little Maiden Phoenix. If his memory was good, this was the girl that annihilated a Lord grade BOSS first in all Rising Essence... who knows if she'd also had already destroyed some Enlightened, like he has? Maybe not though, Tongqiu had quite the abundant confidence in his class and his essential weaponry.

This thread was basically the recounting of a guy who found his new religion by merely having glanced at this player; also relating how her unique dress and impossible to ignore-like aura around her was just perfection and... bla, bla, bla. Even Tongqiu himself wouldn't think like this, and with how horny dog he can be, that's a lot to say.

Finally, the time to read the slightly, somewhat interesting topics came as he opened the first one.

[Guiding Voices vs System]

Author: Emotional Debt  -  Posted 1 day ago

Let's cut to the chase here; everyone that has reached around level 20 had the opportunity to hear a so-called 'Guiding Voice', am I right?

I've been consulting this with a few veteran  casual players, and; I gotta say, it is the most unique feature I've seen in a videogame.

They aren't a faction, at least not now, and they surely are also not just for show. The information, tips or advice 'they' give is amazingly accurate and helpful, in fact, maybe too helpful?

Most players that managed to get a hold of a Guiding Voice guiding them can confirm that every single advice and tips coming from them seem... diabolical. Not in the sense of the voices scaring them, but rather, is the fact that they seem to even know the player's thoughts.

That's right, your own thoughts being seen by said 'Guiding Voices'!

Whether is that you need to find a place to level up better, which they then take into consideration your class, playstyle, stats and even weapons! Also taking into account if you're in a party and even their stats have been confirmed to be also 'spied' upon.

Helpful? Yes.

Creepy? Definitely.

But anyways, that's the most discernible concerns and impactful features for the 'Guiding Voices'. Now let's go next towards the efficiency of the system.

One cannot ask it about anything since the developers have already mentioned how much they do not want their players to have a constant nanny, always resolving their problems for themselves... if so, why introduce Guiding Voices then? But let's not delve into that matter too much.

With the program from the other night, we now know that a rather 'helpful' feature would be implemented next month, so not much can I compare right with the guiding voices. As for the good that it brings; listen I know that it seems particularly dumb and unnecessary, but the fact that it can give you perfectly calculated descriptions, set alarms for different purposes and easily allow you to communicate to each other in ways much more flexibly and in control, rather than collectively listening and obeying some weird, creepy voice in your head (literally), which is why I think is more reliable than those voices.

With this it's obvious to know what side am I standing for. Maybe me, and the people that have the same kind of train of thoughts are paranoid, maybe. But the feeling of being watched through your entire playthrough... is not nice at all. Rising Essence doesn't allow the developers, not even Mr KC to spy upon its players, so why should we allow ourselves to be so by a mere voice? It feels really weird man.

It truly may not seem as something as impactful and alluring of a subject like that of the top ten classes but, it made Tongqiu's scalp itch a little. Those voices were genuinely anything but good.

'What if... ah.' Tongqiu was about to brainlessly enter into the game, the lowly world of 'what-ifs' before he abruptly stopped himself, he's in the middle of a slightly tiring battle, he should at least not be this dumb, ah.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Fshvvvm!

'Well, well, to the next topic.' Shaking his head while dodging some thrown daggers and even some javelins, Tongqiu opened up the other slightly interesting thread.

[Top TEN ordinary classes!! (according to renown pros)]

Author: Frightened Squirrel  -  Posted 1 day ago

After some formal approached greetings and shout out to this author's sponsors, Tongqiu could finally read what the actual post was about.

Some of you already know me for my previous pro-player's interviews, esports discussion and even commentary on previous world renown games... okay, some of you may just not. But let's not get into any unnecessary introductions, I'd like to keep this natural!

I was originally not even going to enter into the world of Rising Essence, though I'm young, I'm not 'living the life' as much as it would seem to be worthy enough. But here I was, calmly walking through the streets of Fearless Progress City as I was heading towards a supermarket when, suddenly, a wild Selina appeared! We recognized each other and entered the supermarket together.

Those who do know of esports know about her the most. I ended up doing an interview afterwards, which I'll obviously will not drown you people with the details. But by the ending of it, I became so engrossed, so cajoled to the game's volatility that we ended up scheduling even more interviews; she Selina, helping me contacting some other pros, while I, was more than willing to do so. This was merely after the first week of the game, I couldn't believe how easy it was for me to be drawn into it just listening to mere words; when esports games were now dead to me...

In any case, I obviously started playing it myself and well, I just won't go on in details. Rather, I'll explain more of what I've heard and seen.

All ordinary classes have total of 5 to 8 skills. Some of the classes have extra ones that are passives instead of an active or trigger one, but that doesn't mean they're better for it, rather they're slightly more complex that's all.

For the accumulation of all this information, reviewing it and extra-analyzing it, it took me almost 2 entire months... this game is... INCREDIBLE.

With the help of pro's experience and my own, I'll introduce what I believe is the genuine top for the ordinary classes from the better ones to the lesser better ones:

1.- Grim Challenger. This class is one that has 7 skills, and also the one I see as the most difficult to master. It's extremely fast in any sense be it Attack/Action Speed, Movement Speed, but not only that, this class also allows you to move by yourself in battle in the most agile, nimblest of ways, meaning that its charge up, closing in and escaping abilities are much more efficient in this class... it's truly a fucking pain in the ass to fight against someone that has mastered this class-type, specially if one's class is of low dps and speed. The only good thing against these is that, this class is extremely weak and vulnerable towards CC and endurance. The most scary aspect of this class is its hybrid damage as well as the fact that is not little. Its range and attack methods are top notch, unique among all of Rising Essence classes, even some hidden classes -though not many have been seen-. Main weapons are any type of scythes, dual scythes (even chained); while also having a close-range secondary weapon, the scepter. From light to medium-heavy equipment, usually.

2.- Inner Martial Arts Master. Another melee, and this one is a pure, solid, old-school melee type of class. Its main source of damage are their fists... and that's it. Crazy, right? But that's why they also have an astounding charge and close in towards enemies, besides also having great attack speed. So even though their fists aren't powerful enough to induce fear, the way this class can tank up damage, CC and evade like crazy will do much more than just that. The difficulty of this class can be easily explained like this; if you're already knowledgeable with body training in real life, you'll have a blast in here! But, if you're not; then you can only learn the hard, hard way... of getting beaten down and back up again only to start getting destroyed for loooong periods of time... this class is really tanky for being a dps focused class. Literally no weapon, but their only source of damage at distance are throwable items. All types of equipment, yes, an allrounder.

3.- Battlefrenzy. Now, the talk about this class is going to be one more of the future possible development. Why? Simple, they're a killing, war, battle, bloody-machine. This class is genuinely the most crazed, hysterical one in battles. Very fun. Most of all, this class allows players to use up to 5 different weapons, possible of interchanging between each other without no consequences whatsoever. It is kinda tanky, but the real problem fighting against these is not their endurance, rather, is the fact that CC is almost negligible against them! It's better to just put this class down to the ground than to avoid it on any kind of battle or so. It is quite slow, not that flexible, but its attack speed is good enough to make up for it. Is literally braindead when it comes to magic or MP usage, full Stamina user-class. Can wield any weapon (magical based weapons not recommended). From medium-heavy to heavy equipment.

4.- Tamer. This one is really, one of a kind. Warning for any new players interested in minions-based classes, one needs to have strong emotions to accurately play this class. Don't ask me, I don't know why, I've only heard it and seen it from others. But I can confirm that it is true! First of all, tamers at LV30 can tame up to 2 melee-type entities (tanky ones recommended), 3 long range-type entities and 4 support-type entities, for battle; that's right, not only beasts or animals but also monsters, insects and even ghosts! The only thing is, they can't be a high-level entities. This refers to their intelligence, evolution and bloodline. Now, to what I was talking about before, strong emotions; if one doesn't have enough of a powerful will and 'emotions', their taming is heavily reduced as well as the synchronization between the Tamer and the Tamed, better be honest with yourself. To be a Tamer is to be a strategist; this class offers a somewhat tanky and fast at moving disposition, but its fighting capabilities are both, low and not flexible enough at all, one has to trust their partners, another strength of this class is its CC, it has 7 skills and 4 of them are for CC. Can wield crossbows and javelins, a mace or hammer for melee. Light type of equipment.

5.- Archer Expert. I knoooooow that the Rising Essence developers hyped up this class a whole lot! But... I don't think there's truthfulness to it... I've observed many, MANY Archer Experts and to be honest, I don't think is that great. This is a very complicated class to work with. Their speed at moving around and nimbleness in battles is good, though for what I've seen, is just 'good'. Their damage is big, and they resist their enemies a lot, but most Expert Archers I've seen have to die at least 13 times to understand how to properly kill a mob... sigh, anyways, it also has some CC and a slightly commendable tenacity (CC resist); but that's all I could ever see from them, sorry. Capable of wielding short swords, bastard swords (dual as well), any crossbows and any bows. They do have excellent chain skills synergy, though I've only seen 3 or 4 combos in total, pretty meh (6 skills in total). From light to heavy equipment.

'Wait... WTF?! This fucker, thi-th-this fucker! This fuuuuuuuuckeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!! And they even have a variety of skills! Enough to have a big chain skill and even able to do different combos... and they still fuck up?! Just who are these people? No, rather, who the fuck did you 'observed', you malignant pervert?! Aaaagghhh!!'

'Hey! Even if anyone but me is trash at the bow, that doesn't mean the class is bad, hear me?!... Sigh, am I too low-key? Whatever, whatever.' After calming down a little, Tongqiu thought to himself as he prepared to keep on reading, it was somewhat interesting alright.

Meanwhile, the mobs all around him, enduring Tongqiu's sudden wrath: (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) ༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`)

6.- Sorcerer. Remember that thread from that energetic girl, 'Little Star'? Well, I became a huge fan (please dm me, goddess), EHEM. So after I reviewed the video on that thread, as well as made some inquiries here and there and even some collective tests... I can confirm all ordinary classes are capable of 1v1 any hidden class (for now). Sorcerer is, I think, one of the most incredibly synergistic class. It's so very unique, very special and incredible fun! Even with its brain-wrecking features, haha~. It has very low characteristics, all for movement, flexibility and damage even (its magical damage output is okay, really good but that's it). However, its action speed is what makes them terrifying. It has already been seen before and now, I can reassure anyone here that, the future for his class is going to be amazing! Simple amazing! It's an actually easy class to master, one only has to train good enough the possible synergies and the like, and voilà!  All its skills consists in buffing, and the already known synergy attacks, but it also has a minor healing spell (8 skills in total). Wields crosiers, staffs, light wands, light rods and magical daggers (dual too). Light equipment only.
