Leveling At The Lake
Looking at the skills, Tongqiu became aware -even more- of the increasing difficulty of dealing with mobs that are of a higher level. As of right now, this was the first time that he fought monsters of LV60+ and his LV difference would make it a little harder to kill, he'd probably take around the same time or a little less to kill even one of them because of the MISS that will appear over and over again.
Maybe the fact that they were all LV60 and not a single one of them was of a higher level meant that they weren't as strong as their next 'stage' in maturity, just like players would get their first advancement. But that was only a wild thought from Tongqiu which he wouldn't go too deep for.
[Water Body]: The Water Cat's special affinity with the Water Core Element grants it high resistance towards attacks of the same element, receives 50% less Water Elemental damage and it is impossible to inflict negative altered effects like Burn/Burning, Scalded, etc.
[Waterjet]: The Water Cat absorbs the surrounding water element in the air and merges with the one in its body to launch a powerful water element based attack in a straight angle, it is a quick skill and after use, the Water Cat becomes vulnerable for 2.5 seconds. Inflicts a decent amount of Magical Damage.
[Smooth Claws]: The Water Cat imbues his Magical Power into its claws to grant them a certain amount of water element bonus damage as well as turning their base damage towards that of dealing Magical Power instead of Physical Power.
[Limpid Body]: The Water Cat's body will automatically regenerate 10 HP per second whenever it is close by to a source of a certain high quality of Water Core Element and certain amount of it. It also grants it Movement Speed+35% and Attack/Action Speed+15%.
Tongqiu first stopped the little wolfy from going ahead and start a massacre; first of all, what level was she when she first came here to be able to kill many of these as well as to not level up like crazy? Exactly how good was she at fighting? Holy fuck, even he would have troubles just by not being able to hit them, but this girl could do a buffet out of them? That was, once she could actually become a chef of course, maybe she either ate their meat uncooked or saved it... Anyways.

Indeed, Tongqiu wanted to wholly depend on his little Rosey to make this a little bit easier for everyone, she would also be sharing 33% of the Experience given, and giving the fact that pets weren't as needy when it came to Experience points needed to level up, she would have no problems leveling up after her big bro did so ever so slowly.

Rosey's thoughts went inside Tongqiu's head before an abrupt pale-silver glow came from above Tongqiu's right shoulder, from which Rosey's little body came out.
As she stood on his shoulder with her little hands shaped into a fist onto her hips and held her head high, Tongqiu introduced this little naughty fairy to Zyv: "Little Zyv, I present to you 'Little' Rosey."
Zyv's eyes had already darted towards his shoulders even before Rosey made her little appearance, her nose indiscernibly flinching; so when Rosey finally appeared, with a calm and composed expression on her face, her eyebrows jumped in surprise before calmly observing the little thing.
Sniff, sniff, sniff sniff sniff...
A lot of 'sniffing' noises came right after before her eyes opened wide open as she exclaimed before getting close to both Tongqiu and Rosey.
"A monarch? Woah, is this your pet? The Legendary graded one?! So cute~."
Zyv's little head got really close to Rosey's tummy as she kept on sniffing all around her body while a silly Rosey was giggling in slight 'br-br-br-br' little sounds.
"Eeeh? Big Brother... she smells so much of you, what- gasp, what did you do?!"
Tongqiu: "..."

"It's not like that! She had to merge with my, uh... virtual body so that she wouldn't perish after I rescued her from the hands of some... shady people." At the words of her rescue, little Rosey nodded a couple of times before hugging Tongqiu's neck with her entire little body and her head nuzzling against him, creating a little itch on his weak, easy-to-take-a-life-with spots on his neck as she muttered incoherent words in hushed tenderness.
"Oh~, I see... Hehe, see? I knew Big Brother Wolfy was really good and incredible! Sniff, sniff, aiya, but why does she have to smell so much like you? I wanna smell like you too..." Falling down from absurdness, Tongqiu managed to restrain himself from meeting the ground head on with his head before speaking towards her while placing his hands on her shoulders: "Okay, alright. Little Zyv stop playing around, now, let's go and see who can catch more of them, yes? Rosey's on my team so I can give you a two sec-"
Whoosh!!
Before he could finish speaking, an already prepared and ready Zyv dashed towards a little group of Water Cats, easily killing off five of them in actually 5 seconds.

'Huh?' Tongqiu was befuddled while Rosey was still somewhat sleepy from nuzzling against his body when she suddenly felt an incredible strong sensation occur as she looked towards the cause, she suddenly saw the young girl become fast as fuck and deliver multiple blows per moment, not seconds. She similarly became stupid after seeing it.
"Oh, so that's the case. Rosey, let's go." Without needing to raise his voice or talk off in encouragement, Rosey was already more than willing to give it her all to put down this 'brattish' girl who dares to challenge her place as the strongest aid for her big brother down onto the ground!
"P-tr-rrrrrr~!" Claws out and fangs showing, she lunged herself at the neck of a Water Cat before drowning it in her attacks, Tongqiu similarly took out his two Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladius with a silvery luster growing at his wrists before also dashing towards some Water Cats as well.
There weren't many Water Cats all around, maybe because of the rarity and hidden characteristic of the lake, but there were at least between 100 to 140 or so, according to his quick checks.

Leveling began once again as soon as they finished introducing themselves to each other, while Rosey took a millisecond or two less from half a second to kill one of them, Zyv could kill 3 of them in 1 to 2 seconds, there was only so much difference and that was only when she wasn't facing more than one at the same time where her 'free-AOE' attacks would be even more than useful.

Meanwhile, Tongqiu was facing more than one at the same time but could only get rid of all of them after 3 to 4 seconds, that was when their numbers went from 2 to 4, when they were around 4 to 7 or 8, it would take him 12 seconds or so. Without using his skills, of course. 'Cosmo Omega Shot' was not going to be easily activated completely thanks to these Water Cats' levels being a bit too high, his chances for hitting them was already somewhat low, let alone triggering a Critical Hit or Pierce Attack. Even with his greater % in them as well as the extra 42% of his Hit Rate, their level difference was too important.
Even then, using Transient Divine Burst gave him enough damage and resistances to deal with them with ease, also, thanks to his incredible Movement Speed and Attack Speed, those MISS were manageable and possible to ignore, at least for a little.

Tongqiu's dual gladiuses emitted a feverish and exalted silent cry as they emanated a purple, flaming red/orange and silver aura surrounding the entire body of the two gladiuses. The effect had been triggered!
At that moment, Tongqiu deactivated Transient Divine Burst and allowed Combustion to take place instead.
Combustion!
Aiming towards the group of Water Cats trying to devour him out of anger from eliminating their peaceful lives, he used both his gladiuses to strike down to what was right now his left and right at different targets, doing so that he would encompass a larger AOE explosive area. Though it wasn't as easy to do than with his arrows as he didn't wanted to throw his pair of Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladius away because he couldn't retrieve them back however he wished, an entire area of 13 meters in diameter was the final area affected by the explosion coming from Combustion.

With two of his gladiuses forming the Combustion skill along the effect from his Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladius, all of the surrounding Water Cats were hit with a Pierce Attack for at least twice, there were around 6 Water Cats all around him right now and all of them were hit by his two Combustion explosions which granted him 12 instantaneous particles.

Of course, some of those feline mobs were already touched by Tongqiu and had a little less HP more than others so they died rather easily. With his now available Cosmo Omega Shot, Tongqiu didn't use it for as remaining HP from the Water Cat's was that of between '9,068' to 3,000 or so remaining HP.
Transient Divine Burst!
So he deactivated Combustion before once again activating Transient Divine Burst as he finished off the rest of the Water Cats surrounding him that knew not of the meaning of 'fear of death'.

While Zyv received her typical system notification of receiving 13 AP and automatically having her STR, DEX and LCK stats be raised by 5, 10 and 3; she then turned to look towards her big bro before speaking in a full-of-tenderness tone: "Big Brother Wolfy... There's still a couple of Regions that I have yet to tell you about! Hear me out?"
Not even letting her wait for an entire second, her ears were perked up excitedly as Tongqiu's response came in: "Yup, go ahead. I'm hearing you!"
From afar, he was 'sexily' moving around with incredible battle awareness, his torso, back, hips and even legs and neck were twisting over and over again, avoiding at least 7/10 of a whole group of Water Cats by himself without the use of any skill, unlike her.
'Waah, slurp, so amazing! I'm so smart!' While thinking to herself that she is probably the most intelligent, smartest woman alive -except for her dear sister- and slurping back some saliva that was about to leave her chin as well as cleaning it with the back of her hand and wrist, she then recollected her sweet memories of her journeys before explaining.
"The second last one that I'm going to talk about..." She took a second to instantly kill another Spirit-Current Water Cat before continuing: "...It's the Thousand Words Region, where I come from. Well, where I was sent to at the beginning of the game, hee hee. It is located at the Northeast of 'Central' Main Kingdom. Its Division is called, uh... oh! Touching Soul Division, and its five Sub-Divisions are; Endless Yearning Sub-Division, in the East. Uncontrollable Affection Sub-Division, in the South, we can go visit my own Sub-Division later, hehee. Conquering Heart Sub-Division, in the North and finally...! Tender Passion Sub-Division in the West!"
"Thought there is nothing much to talk about this Region of mine... I know there is a strange thing going on, ever since 'Journeyers' came to this world, this Kingdom. Is like a 'thing' was finally unlocked and has been given an... 'opportunity'..."
Zyv fell into contemplation unknowingly, she stopped moving altogether as she brought her left index finger and thumb to her lips before pressing them on her fingers.
"Th- Zyv?!" Yelling out loud at her, Tongqiu used 3 dashes from King of Dueling bracelet as he arrived before her, successfully saving her from a sure death. To go back to her Region and to leave him all alone, he didn't care about being alone but besides being bizarre and creating an uncomfortable and awkward future meeting, it was also kinda 'bad' to see her go from him.

After giving some heavy slashes at the Water Cat and killing it directly, he took Zyv's little wrist that had previously wiped her saliva before calling out to her with his head closing in on hers: "Are you dumb? Wakey, wakey. Little Zyv needs to rest more?"
"Eh? Ah? Ah! Oops, sorry~. It was really a strange sensation from my memories, ahem, anyways so- aaah?!"
Zyv woke up at once after three second from Tongqiu's attempts to waking her up, but then, when she wanted to speak up to continue on telling him about the last Region, her wrist was taken by Tongqiu all the way up to his mouth...
"Ee-aanngh... Big... Big Brother, please don't... mnh... hah..." But he didn't stop and instead kept on tickling her with his tongue tracing all over where her stupidly dropping saliva stained her little wrist.
"Eeew, Big Brother Wolfy! If you want my saliva, just say so, okay? No need to be so perverted..." And so, their leveling was soon resumed after that little 'collision' for Zyv used used 'Endless Charge' once again as she ran away from him. After having smooched the tip of his nose, of course, only heavenly giggles resounded across his ears as he saw her go from Water Cat to Water cat, decimating every single one of them one way or another and only taking a rest when her Endless Charge's duration was used up.

Her attacks were impossible for even Tongqiu to discern with the naked eye, he would probably only be able to deal with her using all of his Mental Power, but at simple view they weren't as dangerous as Rosey's Heavenly BOSS grade Attack/Action Speed. The instantaneous effect was the only threat that they could give Tongqiu, their dealt damage would be low with Transient Divine Burst and parry-able against him.
Oh well, it did not matter as she was already getting rid of quite a few of them and he had to partake in this bet as well so he stopped admiring his new little 'sister' as he lunged himself to attract a small group of Water Cats for himself as well.

Like this, ever since they've entered the Eternal Silhouette Region, they've spent a total of 9 hours with 4 hours and fifty minutes being spent at travelling through the endless true borders of a Region towards the nearest town and to the hidden lake in a ownerless territory.
Three hours went like this in silence as they would take around 4-6 minutes to clean the area off Spirit-Current Water Cats and wait for 30-35 minutes for them all to respawn at the same time before once more exterminating them.
Zyv successfully levelled up to LV34 while Tongqiu and Rosey reached LV44. Without any consumables that would boost one's Experience points' gain, only taking around 30 or so gold coins that they dropped every few Water Cats were killed.
By the time they've reached around 9 hours and 9 hours and a half from having come to this Region, they decided to leave it at that for today and come back in the night.
"Big Brother, mwah, see you later~."
Giving him a peck real quick in his right cheek before separating away from him and logging off right on the spot without a care, Zyv disconnected from the game while Tongqiu was basking in the rough quick peck she just 'flashed' him with, his cheek bone a little hurt and itchy.
"Hmph~." Involuntarily snorting cheerily, Tongqiu gave Rosey's little, tiny nose a smoochy in great moods before also logging off. The moment he did so, Rosey also disappeared in the same way that he did, going back to who knows where to hide from what seemed to be even existence itself.
