How To Make Money

Now, with the 'deceased' three BOSSes and the two hidden BOSSes, Tongqiu's Experience Bar was brought up to 83,8% while Zyv was now more than halfway through LV42. Rosey did help out in Tongqiu's fight against those 4 different BOSSes and Tongqiu was also planning on using her incredible stats to deal with the final Enlightened grade BOSS.

Their path wasn't without any use of resource however; Tongqiu had not to take that many Benevolent Low-Potions that would replenish a great percentage of his total MP and Stamina at once, but the usage of his Kindness Low-Potion were used rather frequently.

He would use his essential weaponry when he was pretty low on MP and Stamina to recuperate it all with the death of three random mobs, with the 10% take in from their HP converted into Tongqiu's MP and Stamina, it was really nothing. But he did not do that unless he was really low of MP and Stamina and there were still many mobs surrounding them. The reason being very simple, as there was no reason to complicate his time farming this much Experience as well as going against time, they would have to wait 5 minutes before entering the private dungeon once again after all.

Tongqiu ended up using 63 Benevolent Low-Potions and only 8 Kindness Low-Potions, leaving him with 754 and 271 potions respectively.

He would also occasionally use his Failing Rain Arrow wideshots a couple of times each to make some extra AOE damage all around the battlefield. Though the place wasn't as humongous in terms of width and space compared to the previous battlefield that was filled with more than 30,000 of Lacerate group players, it was large enough so that almost a hundred of these 'normal' mobs could stand in a line from one wall to another.

Of course, Tongqiu would rather stack up to 20 or 30 Particles from his Cosmo Omega Shot to launch those Failing Rain Arrows, which would deal a total of 58,752 damage to any of them that were within the range of the AOE explosion from Combustion. Sometimes there wasn't an enough number of Particles so he had to deal a much lesser amount of damage by letting those arrows fly over and over again, he would rather use Transient Divine Burst and have his fun swinging his dual gladiuses than brainlessly keep on shooting at the sky like a hopeless man.

As of right now, no BOSS was worth using his Wind Connective Arrow inside this Light Exposing Minimal Cave. It would've been a different manner were his Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladiuses not have that strange property of having a special effect to deal more damage against Light element beings, or at least the fact that every single monster/beast and BOSS in here wasn't 80% vulnerable against Darkness element damage.

His damage would be greatly reduced if it wasn't because of that simple effect alone, he was either lucky or too coincidental with the place that Zyv chose for their first 'sightseeing', as of right now, there wasn't much to see except cold stone and a natural cave with some colossal-sized rooms here and there which were filled with mobs from all types and levels.

A total of 27 Failing Rain Arrows were used, leaving Tongqiu with 2020 of those, while his remaining Wind Connective Arrow were still at the great amount of 7,639.

Like that, Tongqiu and Zyv stepped on the BOSS's chambers at last.

. . .

Eternal Silhouette, east of Hidden White Shadow Main City.

"Eh? Boss, boss! Look, that Tongqiu person, his Fame points are raising up in the Fame Leaderboards. He... could he be already clearing the p-private dungeon?!" A clever looking player suddenly walked up ahead the front of a vast amount of players which were headed towards the same direction.

"Hm? Let me see, how many did he had before?" Zynfyl took a look at the player before opening up the Fame Leaderboard windows.

"Oh, before his Fame point were at... ahem, at 655,000 points. But it is now at 657,355, boss."

"That... He might have taken out a few field BOSSes or rare Star Elite mobs, everyone! Look around to see if those spots have been cleared out already! When was the last time they were cleared?..." A series of commands came from Zynfyl's voice as he gave his subordinates something to work on, only to receive information that most of those spots still had some time before the Star Elite or field BOSSes respawned, while some others were straight up alive and roaming freely...

***

North of the Eternal Silhouette, Hidden Crimson Shadow's Main City.

"Hmm, eh father look, there's still this guy fighting some BOSSes everywhere! His Fame points are still increasing since a few minutes ago..." A young woman with short black hair, sharp platinum eyes and a rather seductive prominent figure wearing all black robes like a stealthy assassin was speaking towards the middle-aged looking man to her right as she looked down into the nothing.

"Hm? Haish, stop playing attention to such matters, haven't I told you to concentrate on the matter at hand? Seriously." Th middle aged man seemed to have wisdom and experience that someone of his age shouldn't really have. Besides that, he also was wearing full black clothes with only his skin free from his chin to the top of his head, just like his daughter.

"Mmmn, but, it's really fun!"

Rolling his wise eyes to her daughter that was a bit too playful when she wasn't 'working', the middle aged man that carried familiarity towards the young woman looked to his right where a person completely hidden in black clothes was at the waiting for his commands.

"Speak, how are preparations going? Any confirmed information?"

Hearing his calm demeanor and tranquil pace of his words, the player hidden in those clothes first felt worship and veneration before responding with utter respect: "Master Fusi! We've confirmed the skills and range of each of its attacks, it has only one large AOE skill but it is not capable of taking down our cannon fodder people. With the aid of the contracted clerics that abide by the system's contract we've reunited, one 'small' squadron will be able to last for a couple round, three at max. They would also not be able to denounce our group's plans and movements unless they want to become indebted for good. The Heavenly grade BOSS is also pretty tough against Magic Power and its damage taken by Physical Power is rather normal, under a normal BOSS's standards, we... We are ready, Master Fusi!"

Seemingly satisfied, the old man 'Master Fusi' took his time to nod with a pair of calm and composed eyes before speaking once again with the same voice: "Then, we move now. We must take the step to becoming an association as soon as pos-"

Ah, but before he could even mention those few little words, a system's global notification came to be once again in the same day where another global announcement had already taken place!

*PING* Global System Announcement: The 'Journeyer' Baston has used the second dropped Lordship Token to create the second association in all of Rising Essence, the Guerilla Guild and has become its Founder, with 'Journeyer' Delette becoming its Co-Founder.

*PING* Global System Announcement: As two association have now been formed, the first battle for the first castle will begin in 16 days counting down from right now!

*PING* Global System Announcement: With the two association's respective Regions being closer to each other than none other, the selected territory will be in between the farthermost North and East of Main Kingdom's ownerless territory. Once a victor has been decided, the association's players will be capable of teleporting to the designated area for a moderate amount of gold. Proper management and care of the territory is advised, the total estimate size of ownerless land given to the association's leader will be that of a tenth of an already existing Sub-Division for starters. This is an unique event and will be happening only once, as well as being streamed live from different angles in the Crestfallen Industry's self-created Rising Essence's forums as a special feature for the day. The battle will take place in a set time limit of 24 hours and only members of both associations can enter into the battlefield. It will be a field battlefield instead of a siege or defense battle, where the victor will be decided once only one association's players remains in the area.

"Oh, hahahaha! Father, father look! We were overtaken once again, bwahahaha! So cool~."

Facepalming himself lightly, 'Master' Fusi then looked at her daughter in slight exasperation before speaking out loud: "Ahem, it is alright. Our current playstyle as a group of thousands wasn't enough to deal with a direct combat against an ordinary army of players. Besides, that 24 hours limit wouldn't allow us to plan for the night, it may even start either at the morning or at nightfall, no one knows. Also, we don't necessarily need to be fast in this case, as long as we get to become a real association as fast as possible, that will suffice!"

"Har, har~." Giving her father a teasing look after he finished giving his face-saving speech, the young woman then spoke out again: "Hm, this Tongqiu guy, is he single?"

'Give up.' With his head hunched forwards, Fusi gave up on saving face and merely waved away at the player standing on his right, the player made a respectful bow which made Master Fusi recuperate a little bit of face as the player then said: "Miss Juvenile Blade."

With that polite farewell and a polite bow, the player then finally left the pair of daughter and father alone to their lowly muttering, bickering across the streets. The 'old man' tried being stern and quiet but her daughter kept on being loud and ostentatious, making him helpless and go into stealth to stay away from the public.

They also were now heading towards a certain new hunting grounds were a small-sized giant Lamia which they would protect by assassinating every player that came remotely closer to the hunting grounds, as close as 1,000 meters in diameter referred to.

As Master Fusi disappeared from plain sight, he opened his message box with an ID named 'Torn-Rusty Blade' as he then sent a message to the player.

Fusi: "Son, time to make money."

Torn-Rusty Blade: "Understood. It's on the way..."

At the same moment that that happened, a cleric with full beige robes and a large crosier in his left hand was standing in a hill far away from the Hidden Crimson Shadow main city received a notification from the system, after being jolted awake by it he rapidly opened up many other message boxes and began writing to them.

"Hahaha, is this the Yun Clan's Young Master, look..."

"Oh, if it isn't an OG pro player, HAHAHA! I've heard you've wanted to..."

"Uhm, Mister Asami Karekoto, right? There is this new information I believe it's gonna be of great help, I don't intend..."

"Oh, I've always admired the superb ability to have become the most amazing Clan mastering the art of the tempering of one's body, I'm totally willing to help..."

Once the bait was taken in, the cleric would then give out his explanation of his troublesome matter at hand from which was the reason why he couldn't just say it out loud...

"The thing is, there's a contract made by the system and as Respected Elder may know already, it cannot be violated as it would be the same as taking the Crestfallen Industry's major project as a laughing stock. If that wasn't enough... The fact that the system will act on its own will without even asking for consent nor confirmation is also pretty hard for me, you see. The system's contract will punish me by taking over 15,000 gold coins from me for each and every player that it's taking part in the... 'job' that is happening. If I do that then I'm done for, they won't even have to do anything and I'll go to jail, real life jail! That's why, if esteemed elder wants to know of this, I'll have to take upon a contract that the esteemed elder will pay all of it for me, can you do that? I swear upon my life, that this information is not false and is of greatest importance! I'll even reveal a bit of what I can talk about, this is happening in the Hidden Crimson Shadow Sub-Division, so if esteemed elder wants to amass their people inside the Sub-Division before confirming it with me, please go ahead! But... hurry up, I don't know how much it'll take for this small group of players to take down the... something, or if they can even do it in the first place."

And just like that, the heavy curiosity and alertness from having witnessed two global system's announcements in a row with one of them being of utter importance to them and their future in Rising Essence, most of the contacted parties confirmed right away their signing up in the system's contract made by the system itself as the cleric would then expose entirely the happenings in the Hidden Crimson Shadow Sub-Division, probably having already begun recruiting people and paying them for their services and only waiting for the oh so resourceful bits of information.

"Thank you very much! Now that I'm at peace, I can finally speak of this to my idol, thank you! There is a Heavenly grade field BOSS in the outskirts of the city where..."

Just like that, innumerable and unthinkable amounts of gold coins began pouring out from the little bags of some people as they couldn't believe the massive numbers going down to 0 in but an instant, this was bound to be a memorable event that no powerhouse would even dare mention for fear of being ridiculed of their own stupidity and self-brought calamity.

'Hahaha... hahahahahaha.' Old man Fusi was laughing out loud as he saw the billions be distributed between the core members of their group, the exact number of players this 'group' consisted of were more than 13,000 players... How could such a crafty old man who fooled the overly confident 'powerhouses' inside and outside Rising Essence not be happy? He was fucking happy!

Tongqiu, the neutral, passive perpetrator on this deceiving operation had no idea of the trouble that just an old man and a random cleric have caused, as he was already battling 'just another' Enlightened grade BOSS.

***

[Fake Pessimistic Lord]: Type: Monster(Human), Grade: Enlightened, Level: 60, HP: 827,288/2,000,000. A common warrior who had delusions of grandeur, only to be one of the first to fall yet also the only one that could call itself the ancestor of all these tormented souls inside the Light Exposing Minimal Cave.

Skills: Monarch Body of Light, Light Rainy Blast, Light Sphere and Lifeless Being.

[Monarch Body of Light]: From flesh and bones to materialized Light, its body is now part of Light itself that is abundant and special to the Light Exposing Minimal Cave and as such, it takes 100% bonus damage against Darkness element type of damage.

[Light Rainy Blast]: Uses its body as the catalyst to launch several square face beams of light all around its body that can travel up to 35 meters before dissipating, dealing damage equal to 215% of its current Magical Power and a small amount of Light element type of damage per beam of Light. Use Rate: Common. Cannot be blocked and cannot be stopped.

[Light Sphere]: Calls upon the will of the Light Exposing Minimal Cave to create a sphere with the Fake Pessimistic Lord as its center, heals any being of Light 413,000 HP and grants them invincibility for 1 second after the Light Sphere dissipates. Use Rate: Slightly rare. Cannot be interrupted.

[Lifeless Being]: Turned into the most deplorable kind of being, only second to a Fallen, it has gained a bonus increase of Magical Power+20% for each being of Light that it's close to itself by 50 meters.

For the actual time spent on taking this BOSS was that of around 4 minutes, meaning that Tongqiu's pair of Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladiuses ave been swung around in a fervent manner for about more than 840 times or more against this little fucker. Not only that but it had used Light Sphere a couple of times too.

Though Tongqiu had dealt it a total of 1,998,712 Physical Power and Darkness element damage, it had healed up a total of 826,000 HP in those two minutes. Maybe it was because of the rapidly decreasing % of HP that it had the skill activated twice, but without being able to stop it from casting it, Tongqiu could only hope he wouldn't spam the damnable skill over and over again once it was below 30% of its HP, namely 600,000 HP.

"Agh, okay Rosey, your turn!"

"Brrrr! Brrrr!" Extremely excited and content, Rosey came out from Tongqiu's oh so comfy house-like Great Petal Suit as she brandished her little fists in anticipation up into the air from the soon-to-come destruction that she'd create!

Rosey's Dooming Bloom!

-108,750.

Fake Pessimistic Lord's HP: [763,538/2,000,000].

'Good!' Tongqiu nodded at the devastation of damage not being hindered by the defenses of this annoying animal. Meanwhile, Zyv would come out and take out all the LV45 minion-type Light based mobs that would brainlessly move forwards to the Fake Pessimistic Lord to avoid its Lifeless Being passive skills from being stacked up, it didn't take any effort as MISS barely appeared, with some Pierced Attacks taking place instead every now and then.

Combustion ha a slightly stronger damage than Transient Divine Burst, but that was only a greater overall value when dealing with group of enemies for its AOE was also incredible to boot. Since Tongqiu was in charge of dealing with the BOSS himself, then he was surely to use Transient Divine Burst to avoid any kind of unnecessary waste of MP and Stamina. He very much so wanted to use his new Wind Connective Arrows but between 30% more damage from a skill and a total bonus of 120% bonus damage from the Darkness element, it was more than obvious which one was the most profitable.

As such, Tongqiu gripped tightly onto his Light-Absorbing Flaming Gladiuses before running with his utmost speed towards the annoying Fake Pessimistic Lord that was ranting on about different lore thingies that Tongqiu didn't give one shit about.
