Demon Outburst

'Over here like this, eh... done!'

"Okay, it's done. Mmm, how does it feel; good, right?" Yun Beishang spoke in a showoff manner as soon as he finished combing the maid's hair which was in front of him while he was seating in one of the 3-seater sofas as she placed her little bum on the little table.

Standing up completely from having previously spent a couple of minutes leaned backwards on Yun Beishang's legs, the maid softly lifted her right hand to her head to feel up her hair; she didn't had much hopes or so, as this little Master of the Peaceful Rain Villa of theirs wasn't one to know of 'girl stuff'. Yet, as soon as she touched her own hair, she noticed the hairstyle, steps, technique and even her Master's unique 'touch' and their own well-trained and exquisite skill on her head.

'Heavens! Master can comb a girl's hair like this too?!' With an inaudible gasp escaping her lips, the maid turned around to directly look at her Master in the eye and say: "Master! It's great, wow! Can you do it again? This time try this other style, ah, I saw it in my favorite fashion page and..."

Bold and amazed, the maid proceeded to engage with her Master the way in which she wanted her hair to be like next as she slowly undid Yun Beishang's work. Soon after, she became even more amazed at the sight of the incredible hairstyle made on her!

'Waaah~! Master is so cool...' Then, the maid's eyes became fervent as her little head started to go wild.

Meanwhile, a pleased with himself Yun Beishang spoke out his words rather smugly: "But of course, I've been training with a certain little someone for some time. I'm already good at anything you throw at me. Eh, how is it, it is good isn't it?"

Rolling her eyes cutely, the maid pouted for a little before coyly answering her Master: "Moou, Master~! You'll be a great father! If that's what you were hoping to hear..."

Speechless; and embarrassed, Yun Beishang simply made a small, thin smile as he nodded and proceeded to stand up and to help the girl herself to stand up as well.

"Okay then, go for the rest, make sure they're ready to receive a new 'Madam', heh-heh." Giving that little order to the maid, Yun Beishang proceeded to move towards the wine located a few meters besides the 3-seater sofa where he was at previously. His steps were nervous indeed as he slowly drank up shot after shot. The maid, however, was already using her cellphone to check up the other girls.

At some moment, as the two of them were on their own thing each, a small group of maids came inside the Living Room with varying states of mind.

"Wohoo, Master~~, Pira killed me in the game! We weren't even dueling when she did it, she stabbed me like it was normal! I lost one level now and everyone will make fun of me, bwueeeh." A hopping maid with short hair arrived at the Living Room before the rest as she was rubbing her eyes and speaking in a wronged manner.

Yun Beishang was in the middle of drinking a shot as he saw the maid come in, not stopping his drinking, he turned to look at her as the maid made a surprised face with her eyes widening and her lower lip extending before greeting him while saying: "Eheh~, sorry; hello, Master~."

"AAAH! Master, please do not punish me, I've barely got 1,000 Honor points. I don't wanna lose them~!" Another maid came quickly right in the Living Room as she spoke with a guilty tone, Yun Beishang observed the two as more and more maids began either entering the Living Room or heading directly towards there as he finally spoke out: "Mn, tell me, you made your sister lose a level for no reason. Don't you think that's a bad example, hm? You will have 100 points deducted, silly girl."

"Ah-eh? Ah! Bwaaaaaa, nyoo~!" The guilty maid slowly made her way towards Yun Beishang without feeling a single tinge of fear for being too intimate with her Master as she threw her body to his stomach; with her head buried on his stomach and her arms covering his waist, or what they could. She then added with a pleading voice: "Can you please forgive me? Pwetty pweaz?"

"..." Speechless, Yun Beishang responded after a few seconds telling her that only if her victim herself decided to forgive her; to which the two maids in question looked at each other and silently agreed with each other without even needing to nod at each other or send a signal. To which Yun Beishang slightly rolled his eyes and shook his head gently before slowly releasing himself the maid that was embracing him.

"Well, is everyone out?" Yun Beishang asked the previously 'victim' maid as he looked at her no longer checking at her cellphone to which the maid then responded: "Mhm! Madam Yona was the last one to come out of the game, as she was furiously organizing everything. Oh! She says that she's very content with your organization methods and that she'd... give you a reward? Hmm, what did she m-..."

"Oh-cough, cough, cough. I get it, ehem-cough! Good then, uh... be prepared. She is... rather especial... for me." Yun Beishang almost blushed out of the maid's words about Yona, but then as he tried to change the subject, he became fully embarrassed as he felt his eyes dart around a little too much.

This time, the two maids were no longer acting spoiled as they instead looked at their Master with a pair of warm smiles on each of their faces which, after some silence, the previously 'victim' maid then spoke out in the stead for all the other maids of Yun Beishang: "No worries, Master. We've been told by Madam Natalia and we are also very understanding, she'll be like a little princess in our hands, tehee~."

"Ah, you lot... ah." Having no more words left in his storage, Yun Beishang shut his mouth and simply decided to tell everyone to wait with him while watching TV. Shortly after, Yona, Diana and company joined them in the Living Room as time slowly passed. But, while they were all coincidentally outside the game; in the game itself, there were now even newer dangers for the players, and the mortal NPCs as well.

The life, death and suffering, hope of the billions of inhabitants of the Eternal Silhouette Region are in the hands of all 'Journeyers'.

*PING* Regional System Announcement: The Main Cities of the Azure Dragon Sub-Division...

*PING* Regional System Announcement: The Main Cities of the Orange Fruit Tree Sub-Division...

*PING* Regional System Announcement: The Main Cities of the Endless Yearning Sub-Division...

*PING* Regional System Announcement: The Main Cities of the Precious Emerald Sub-Division...

Instantly after these announcement, either done by Local which meant that everyone in the same Sub-Division or Main Division could heard them depending on the type of announcement being made; or by Regional, in which all of the people of the Region in question could heard them no matter what, extremely agitated voices, commands and desperate screaming, yells and hollering began to thunder about all over Main Kingdom.

With only a window of 10 minutes to take preparations at hand and to defend with all of what they had to their ultimate deaths or decreasing level; both players and NPCs began to chaotically, sternly and somberly arrive at the walls of each Sub-Divisional Main City. Though there were many people on the walls, players and NPC alike, there were even more people outside of them as there were already quite a few dozens of millions of players taking formation. With the obvious intention of taking the brunt of the invasion head on, be it courageous or not very smart, as all the players outside the Main Cities were excitedly waiting their first large-scale war; the NPCs around them either had lost expressions on their faces, cowardice and fear or simply fake bravado. It didn't seem to have many that were either ready to sacrifice themselves for their people or to die an imminent death.

Some time before, this might have been a complete white flag for the Sub-Divisional Main Cities as, most players and even NPC armies were located at the shadow-like portals. Naturally, players could use a scroll to teleport themselves back to the Main City they belonged to, once outside the shadow-like portal's zone; that is.

However, NPCs couldn't. If they wanted to go back to their lands and to protect their beloved, a walk was it. Not even perfectly and special/unique cavalry NPCs would be able to go back home in a week, let alone those going on foot. Now, what about the ten minutes until the Demon Race arrived? They were lost; long lost.

However, because, at the beginning of the second update; there was a clear and strong hint of players from Associations being the core of the second update and many people from such stating to investigate and experiment on that matter. As a result from those experiments and investigations, at the very early stages of the second update, players found out of the possibility of 'recommending' NPCs factions, armies and communities of different and all kinds of settlements out there in the wilds to sum up to the defense or the raise of Main Kingdom. As such, there were even more Associations of players that were commonly seen wandering about nonstop in search of new, undiscovered and stubborn settlements of NPCs to recruit them for the cause. Cause which, not even the city lords knew a thing about, but nonetheless; 'for the cause'.

The effect of such a change on the second update allowed for millions of players, hundreds of Associations on each Region, to not take more than one whole minute to go back to their own Sub-Divisional Main City and only about another 2 to stand in formation outside it. And as time slowly went off, the callings of each Association were tremendously severe, excited and slightly terrified at the same time. Why? There has been some extremely small-scale battles here and there for anyone to see either by standing close-by or by simply watching it online; on the forums or the internet. Though not many got close to what the battle for the first castle was, the gory of it all still instilled apprehension on every player's heart.

"Move! Archers to the back, gun users to medium and buffers in the middle! How are my goddamn snipers on the walls?!"

"Tanks ready?!"

"Ready!!"

"Vanguard ready?!!"

"Ready!!"

"Are all the ambush squads in position? Good! How about the newbie players, are they making trouble? Shit! Only 20 seconds left, everyone start moving, we'll be the first to charge out! Hahahaha!"

"Everyone start spreading to the side angles and get in front of the NPCs! Don't let them take our kills, if we manage a high ranking, the rewards for everyone will grow higher!"

"For Honor points!!!"

At that moment, once it has been some time after the Local and Regional System Announcements went out, another one appeared to deaf the ears of the players and some NPCs, to blind in incredulity the players and NPCs' eyes and to instill true fear into the hearts of anyone in Main Kingdom.

*PING* Global System Announcement: The survival against the Demon Race's invasion has started, 1 trillion Demons have been detected going towards one Region each. Ephemeral portals have been detected all around and above the Sub-Divisional Main Cities where any Demon can go through with each portal being capable of transporting at least a few hundreds of individuals from the outside-inwards only. WARNING, to all players, protect the civilians and the officials of each Sub-Division. WARNING, several casualties have already been confirmed, estimated time until all life in each Sub-Division is taken is of 1 hour. WARNING, defend all civilians, WARNING. WARNING. WARNING.

"SHIT!"

"WHAT?!"

"They-they didn't said from where would they appear, oh fuck! Everyone, move inside! Use your scrolls, don't make a congestion on the gates-"

"Use your goddamn scrolls!! WHAT THE FUCK IS EVERYONE DOING?!"

Then, some players were simply standing there, stupefied and brainless.

*PING*...you cannot use any teleporting item for the time being, unknown time left until this effect is lifted.

"Oh no."

"Oh... no, no, no!!"

"FUCK, MOVE MOVE MOVE!!"

With the realization of being trolled, and harshly; every single player outside the Sub-Divisional Main Cities began to move towards the inside of each.

In a certain Sub-Division, Raoundozia's voice was suddenly heard at this moment, his tone was hopeful and enraged as he intended to get into the hearts of the closest-by millions of players around him.

"EVERYONE, STOOOP!! Right now, there is only some of those Demons going inside, they are not the main force! One small part of each of us should move inside the Main City, but most of us have to remain outsi-" However, before the already succeeding Raoundozia could fully hook the players around him to move in a way that all of this wouldn't go into hell by a definitive, it happened.

STOMP... ... ... ...STOMP... ... ...STOMP... ...STOMP... STOMP... STOMP-STOMP! ...STOMP-STOMP-STOMP!!

And slowly, the sound that made even those inside the Sub-Divisional Main City to stop in their tracks, became real.

STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP-STOMP!!!!!!

"They're... are-are they here...?" Close to a gulping Raoundozia, the frail, scared voice of a male player resounded as everyone was looking into the distance. And sure enough, everyone -in every single Sub-Divisional Main City- became terrified one second after.

"HWRAAAAAAAA!"

"GROOOOOOOOOOOWL!"

"KIIIIIIIIIIILL!!"

Heartrending shrills, growls and roars threatened to deaf everyone outside while the legs of those inside, trembled nonstop.

"Fuck! Everyo-n-ne go back to befo-before- ah! To your positions! EVERYONE GO BACK AND DEFEND-grwaaah!!!" One player that became scared silly with just seeing and hearing the unending amount of Demons either riding or charging at them; yelled out loud as he moved towards the Demons in a miserable-looking run and with only a short sword wielded by his hand and lifted in the air. Before abruptly dying out, his death cries not even being able to echo out as they became drowned in less than an instant by the not even caring enough to attack Demons.

"AAAH!"

"Let me go! Let me go-hooo!!"

"I want to go back, AAAH!! I can't fucking log off!"

There were some players that were plain cowards and turned even more idiotic, moronic and totally useless. Their imagination was enough to drive themselves silly that should the Demons know, they wouldn't continue on roaring so much even now.

Raoundozia, at this point, as he felt his team leaders lining up beside him; finally chose to speak with his long sword pointing at the sky: "Prepare you weapons, get ready to defend, do EVE-RY-THING you can to hold them off!!"

Shortly after, though still using their own Association's system communications, other leaders of Associations nearby began to echo Raoundozia's words.

"Prepare your weapons!!"

"Get ready to defend!!"

"Do EVERYTHING you can to hold them off!!"

And it was at this moment that, two valiant, warm and father-daughter looking pair stepped out on the other side of the soon-to-be bloody battlefield.

"Foster... No, Father, we have to defend! These people inside can only rely on us, we must prevail for their safety!" Looking up at Kalen, Sylda slowly spoke to him as her little fists clenched powerfully, her voice was even heroic and slightly somber.

"Bwaha-hahaha! Okay! Alright! Heh heh. Hoyi! Hita! You heard your little step-sis? She will be in command of our troops, so listen to her well!" Kalen didn't turned to look at Sylda, but that was because he was too content and joyous that his cheeks blushed amply, he simply didn't wanted Sylda to see him as such. And when he yelled at his two eldest son and daughter as he looked back, two beautiful twin-aged 23 years old young man and woman were holding each other's right and left hand endearingly as they slowly walked to behind both Sylda and Kalen; their new step-sister and father respectively.

They looked slightly embarrassed but, like their father, they didn't look flustered nor panicky when seeing the unending amount of Demons come their way from all sides in the distance.

Hoyi was Kalen's son, and he was a Blademaster as he had two thin blades at the sides of his waist. His appearance wasn't that ugly nor handsome, but he had a relieved and satisfied, calm and relaxed smile on his face as he unwillingly parted his eyes from the young woman beside him and looked at his father in obedience.

Hita was Kalen's daughter and unlike the pair of father and son, she was beautiful but not extravagantly and her charm, was that of a beautiful, modest, understanding and decent woman. Her countenance was dreamy as even her eyes were fully lost as she looked at the young man beside her, only going back to -virtual- reality when she saw him look at their beloved father. She was a Sword Dao player and had a simple, crude-looking sword at her waist, though in her body, it looked like a masterpiece being handled properly.

Now content with what he saw, Kalen turned his back completely now and looked further behind his two children as he then called out in joy and tenderly: "Hahaha, that's what I like to see, ahem. Now, where is my Little Kay? Get out of your hideout, we all know you like your sister Sylda very much, stop being so shy; my cute Little Kay."
