Onward To The Sacred Underground

Right after Kalen's words went off, a lithe figure of a young girl almost a young woman, appeared out of some kind of stealth/invisibility two meters right before the siblings duo. Holding a long bow in her arms as if she was wronged, she took her damn time to walk forwards towards Kalen, albeit slowly.

She was hella pretty, completely dark hair in a ponytail with quite the attractive and well-contrasting fringe on her forehead that simply made her look even more adorable. Pure eyes of black color that even seemed to be the most nights of all skies with some diminute, barely discernible stars here and there. She had a pair of adorable, thin-looking yet actually plump and desirable reddish-orange lips and a really small nose. Her body was pretty much Yun Beishang's type when speaking of her front with her shoulders and neck looking really fragile and delicate. Yet, her buttocks were already easy to discern upfront and on a higher point of view as even her childbearing hips did not help at all to hide that irresistible 'perk' at all.

Yet, the every step she gave was completely firm and it was obvious that there was no room for hesitation. This... was a small young girl about to become a small young woman with incredible prospects!

"Yes... hello, father?"

"Haha, well, you accompany Sylda and make sure to demonstrate the Eviscerate League's hidden weapon, okay?"

Kay slowly nodded as her eyes brightened as soon as she let them fall on Sylda, a barely older young woman than her.

"Sis Sylda, let's go. I can already see the many dummy players about to be shocked to death." Saying that, Kay took Sylda's hand and made a rush for the frontlines. No longer appearing to be fragile nor delicate and instead making even Sylda, the Legendary Hidden Class player, sweat a bullet or two as she was forced to zoom into the distance.

"Haaah... Okay, you two. Go and take care of them, you two better die twice before their HP can even reach 50%. Or else!" Kalen said to his two children as they finally let go of each other's hand, he didn't seem bothered by it; at all. The twins then took their weapons out from their sheathes as they then began to zoom in the distance once again, leaving a relaxed and relieved Kalen to enter the battle-like Main City alone with only a few dozen hundred of his people.

His people referred to those from the Eviscerate League and the Imperishable Guild; as well as those who would be joining soon after and those who will become the vassals of their Associations. As two of the most recognized Associations in the world, like it was previously with the Hundred Flowers Hall, they were naturally only second to the House of the Knights of Raoundozia in terms of popularity; only. Reason being because of the fact that the KR came to light much sooner. Because, even then, the Eviscerate League and the Imperishable Guild were the most authentically Associations that any player can relate to. And though the pay of being a member of those two Associations is much lower, it is also less stressful, so as to say. Besides, the two allied Associations also have one Legendary class player, unlike the Knights of Raoundozia.

"Move in! Clear the area! We will leave a few of us behind each time a sector is cleared while the rest will follow me! Remember, priority to save the civilians, do not take effort on helping soldiers, guards nor officials. Go!" As Kalen began commanding to both his Association, his allied Association and to the raid leader outside their ranks, he took out his ordinary-type of sword as he began a strange charge.

SWOOSH!

He seemingly disappeared as he became one with the sword that was previously in his left hand as only the sword was left to see as numerous whirlwinds were left behind for as the sword charged into the city at great speeds...

. . .

Whistle! Whistle!

"...Hmgrphgg! Kah!"

Whistle!Whistle!Whistle!Whistle! Shaka-KA-POOM!!!

"Follow him! Cover him and do not let him die!"

"Grwaawwhh-"

"God damned it! They're so close, we won't-we won't survive it... Eek? Kwagh!" One of the players was slowly trying to retreat; since pain tolerance was limited to a certain 'high' point and the fact that he would lose a level, made this player want to just slowly retreat back into the Main City without having to lose and to feel pain; anything at all. However, as he kept on looking to his surroundings while crouching down and bending his bag to appear like a pathetic dog, he then felt immensely choked as he felt a huge, scalding and rough inhuman hand grab his neck from behind and slowly lift him up to a face to face confrontation.

"What?! Wait no, I'll fight... Yeah! I'll-I'll fight, I'll FIGHT! So, please do not make me-CRAAGGH." It was not a Demon, as the now dead player first thought but, a player instead. And not just any player, it was the player which, thanks to him, the current battlefield outside the Main City wasn't completely lost.

This player was easily 3 meters tall and, well... let's not even get into how his biceps alone are as thick as two man's waist. He had his body seemingly become a lava-is type of body and was constantly wielding in and out a fiery bow that seemed to also be made of lava but only the most incandescent pale-yellow lights could be seen instead of the bow's true body. At the same time, the 'arrows' that the player used were all practically his bones that he took out from his back. Seemingly infinite for some unknown, mysterious reason.

At the beginning, the Clandestine Vocation Main City was about to be swiped clean in one swoop as all players were successfully fooled into rushing back into the Main City. However, when they realized that they were tricked -mostly because of their lack of both; leadership and reasoning-, it was already too late as only a few hundreds of thousands of players were there to receive the unstoppable charge of the Demon Race.

With just a few couple of minutes; the territory outside the Main City where the players and NPCs have had previously stood in formation was completely overtaken by half. The speed and unobstructed stampede from the Demons was too great to be ignored, and when everyone else was hopeless and only felt that their levels and items were about to go down in more than many ways... a 'hero' appeared!

With a few hundreds of molten-rock coming down from the sky, seemingly out of nowhere as they only had a slightly arched trajectory that made it seem as it came from where the Main City was from towards the incoming Demons; the extremely slow yet extremely destructive projectiles of fiery rock that were seemingly enshrouded in power lava about to explode, slowly made their way into the Demons' forces.

And with the clapping sounds of explosions, the Demons coming from the west, southwest and northwest of the Clandestine Vocation Main City were pushed back strongly by the efforts of one sole man; player.

Soon after the large figure of a 'naked' man with a body of lava and solidified lava rushing towards the Demons could be seen on the battlefield, but no one else was responding at the moment, simply watching the weird player engage in a furious battle against the Demon's previously charging troops.

And to the shock of everyone, they finally saw what an archer could do, even if this player was a hidden class player. With his fiery bow, he destroyed the heads and torsos from many Demons that came his way while whenever there was a huge group coming at him, a slow yet entirely explosive arrow would be sent towards said group and blow them all away. At the same time, each time the player killed people with either at melee or long-distance, and the resulting explosions killed enemies as well as reached his body; he would visibly heal a little bit.

In this manner, the players that were running away 'conveniently' slowly but surely, made their way towards the battlefield as well. With their blood boiling and their youthful heroism being triggered, a cruelly extended battle began!

And, as of right now, as the player did another 'demonstration' of cowardice being properly rewarded, the rest of the nearby players simply put in more effort to kill at least one Demon before dying; if anything at all.

"Ah, and there goes another..."

"Mhm, let's just kill more, this is really scarier than the never-ending Demons bro!"

Soon after, the lava-body player took his bow to aim at the sky. When the players saw this, even more excited and blood-boiling commands went out from every side.

"Protect him! Again!"

"For the Myriad Races, gaaaawh!!"

"LET THIS FUCKER SHOOT! HAHA!"

Mountains of corpses from NPCs and players amount all around the lava-body player as he furiously send extremely fast and seemingly invisible to the naked eye- fiery arrows to the sky.

. . .

On the other hand, the Thousand Words Region was one of the Regions that were being defended effortlessly almost. There was only one reason to that, and it was... that a huge, immense and extremely fast as fuck graceful wolf kept on moving back and forth between all Sub-Divisions nonstop. Here and there, from the east to the west and then from north to south, the huge graceful wolf bit off, clawed off and even blasted off endless amounts of Demons like they were a nice little food. Not a single tinge of mercy across the wolf's eyes.

In the same manner, the graceful wolf would move from one Sub-Division to the other like it was nothing and as such, she would constantly appear on the next Sub-Division each 8 minutes. Only giving each side of a Sub-Divisional Main City in the Thousand Words Region, 2 minutes.

That wasn't all of it, however, as the huge graceful wolf would carry on top, the 'angel of death' that was completely new to players. With just a few of her chants and a few of her hands flicking gently, endless downpour of suffering, pain and horrifying destruction befell the every Demon on the battlefield.

If a squad of Demons wasn't being gnawed, slapped away or swatted away by claws or a tail; it was then being beautifully yet horrifyingly being decimated in a peaceful manner by that other player on top of the wolf-transformed player. It also didn't took too long for the wolf-transformed player to be recognized while the other player on top of the wolf was merely being guessed.

. . .

But! On the other hand, Wonder Region and Eternal Silhouette Region were bound to be the most tragic of the bunch of Regions... weren't they? Since they got insane punishment, global punishment for every player in their Region before, then the current situation could only be considered laughable as they were barely managing to catch up to the rest of the playerbase in Rising Essence. The hate for Tongqiu was ever more real now.

However, a discrepancy. Because, in actuality, though the Wonder Region was suffering to the point where their city walls were finally taken down after half an hour and their Main City was now a quarter lost; all in ashes and mangled corpses with not even blood managing to take too much of a presence. The Eternal Silhouette, however, was triumphing valiantly!

Not only because of Baston and his Guerilla Guild, but mostly because of the incredible achievements made by the Black Lotus League in which many of them simply had a few barely Advanced grade Builders create some sort of mechanism that'll activate the tens of thousands of explosive Core Elements that were, for some reason, planted all around the Hidden Crimson Shadow Sub-Divisional Main City... Well, in any case, the entire surroundings of that Main City became impossible to attack and, seeing how an almost 20 km large space of at least a few km deep 'new' ravine was created, the Demons could only give up the place and start heading towards the nearest settlements.

However, by that time, more and more Black Lotus spies in other Associations had already started teleporting to any settlement nearby which, in turn, became a grand surprise for the enraged, unwilling and fooled Demons.

Their act, though extremely scary, was extremely commendable indeed.

As for the Wonder Region; that one was BARELY saved only when the players on that Region received a system prompt that all players who aided in the defense of the Region would be handsomely rewarded with at least 10,000 SP and 400,000 Fame each, that most of the players grinding in the shadow-like portal zone finally came out and acted as reinforcements for the defenses of each Sub-Divisional Main City.

The Ancient Forest Region and the Origin Pertaining Region were the two Regions that had it easier thanks to not only the honorable cooperation between 'Journeyers' and their different Associations, but also thanks to the great amount of either big shots that belong to those Regions or those Associations that were becoming greater in popularity ever since the release of Rising Essence's second update.

With the Ancient Forest Region being second only to the more determined and honorable Origin Pertaining Region in which, even NPCs were part of the huge help to defend the Sub-Divisional Main Cities. And in a friendly kind of way, of course.

The entirety of the Demon Race lasted for more than two hours. An all-out war, one that directly tore off most of the player's mentality with quite a huge percentage having to log-off due to mental fatigue or mental stress, going for a whopping 16% of all players being like that. Taking into consideration that the current population of the game was more than 10 billion... yup.

Nevertheless, this served to give the players a good damn slap on both the back of their heads and their backs. For as their dignity of some of them already planning to overthrow a Sub-Divisional Main City for themselves, burned their entire heads off out of shame. And those who were more 'nobler' in their actions, became instead shocked due to the overwhelming true of this virtual world's situation.

That is; the Demon Race. Really, has to die. Exterminate!

Peaceful Rain Villa, door's entrance.

Ding!-Dong!

Creak!

"Miriam!"

"Oho! Beis-Beishang!!" Throwing herself at his arms the moment she saw the shockingly charming, devilish Yun Beishang right in front of herself, the already sniffing here and there Miriam finally cried away in tears. Her grasp on his shoulders was terrific, she wasn't letting go a single ounce of strength for nothing. Luckily, dear ol' Yun Beishang wasn't a simple young man and could even handle it even if she was biting off his neck,

"Mi-Miriam..." Reciprocating the tight hug, Yun Beishang pressed her into him as if he wanted her to become one with him in the weird way already. Too coy, too coy.

"Eeeeh-mnheee, bwo-bwo sniff!! Wuuu!"

"Now, now, now. There... it's fine now, we're fine now. See?" With an incredible rare, 'shiny' sight of gentle Yun Beishang in public; not only the maids and Natalia and the rest were amazed, even Miriam was shocked silly as she saw the tender eyes of the man she had had horrible nightmares about for so long yet desired to see, touch and breathe again.

Pushing her by the shoulder slightly, the overly clingy Miriam finally took a nice look at his face with her puffy red, sobbing eyes. Her make-up already a mess, even though it was really little, since she knew what kind of colors Yun Beishang liked the most to see her in.

An unusually attractive jaw, a seemingly broken nose, very well cut hair and a random hairstyle... mmm, yup, that's the Bei Bei that she's longed for so long!

'But... oh my! Those biceps, pectorals... gasp, is that bulge his-oh dear, Miriam, what are you thinking? Gasp, and in public?! Dumb Miriam, silly Miriam, he will think I am a-' But, before the wild thinking of this 1.7-and something meters tall 'short' girl could go even crazier, a much taller and manly Yun Beishang hurried to calm her down with a little peck on the lips.

"Ah..." Stunned, Miriam could only stand there, silly; as she waited for another one.

Step, step.

At this moment, perfect-wifey Natalia came into the picture as the rest of the people were adoringly -and somewhat confusedly- looking at the scene. She had a large, caring and even sisterly smile on her most beautiful face as she gently said: "Miriam, right? I've heard you will now be our chef for pastry, hehe. Come! Let me show you around, oh and don't worry, we won't let that 'little' beast over there defile you as soon as you breath in and out again. We'll protect you from his claws! Oh! Let me show you the kitchen first, our head maid Itnia, has recently upgraded it. Especially because she heard about you, hehe. There's this very sophisticated feature of one of the stoves, it's very cute especially when you..."

Yun Beishang was left there, single, alone, abandoned. Nevertheless, he felt warmth. Who was better to understand him than Natalia? As soon as he no longer had any words and didn't wanted to over-saturate Miriam with pure physical reactions out of not wanting to talk words that he did not meant to say like 'how are you' and 'how is the family'. Not that Miriam would've minded, after all, how else could she have had fallen for him back when they were kids?

And indeed, even though Yun Beishang was clear on this too, he was simply... afraid to scare her. Nevertheless, even if he did not brought her back to him; she would've still been found by them. And that was even worst than death itself, for him.

As Yun Beishang was slowly closing the doors of the main entrance to the main building, a figure adhered to the wall right outside and above the door was slowly moving their lips, while Yun Beishang himself slowly moved his body to close the door to an even more slower pace.

"M-Master. Mm, mm."

Pam~.

Hearing Zi Fei's cute voice and her weak tugging of his shorts, Yun Beishang closed the door fully before slowly turning to look at Zi Fei. The momentary grave look on his face long gone and no longer there, replaced by full softness when looking into the overall violet eyes of this young girl.

Not saying anything, both of them, slowly took each other's hands before Yun Beishang began guiding her to the Dinning Room ahead of the others while still holding one of her hands; his fingers intertwined with hers.
