But Pure's another stomp onto the ground somehow limited it, and he was not able to 'simply' do so anymore. Filled with unclear, shaking feelings, Yun Beishang could only resolve to his instincts as he saw the figure of Pure be set fully ablaze in the distance.

Yun Beishang felt his right arm seemingly become bounded, as if to something, as if to himself from another space. Right after, with an even louder sound of materialization, Void Jumping Star appeared, his Essential arrow appeared at just his call!

But at the same time, Pure's body finally combusted completely, her entire body made an even more impossibly gigantic, thumping explosion of ordinary orange and ordinary red colored flames that came out from the center of her very own being.

'Oh, fucking shit!' Shit fuck and what else indeed! As soon as Yun Beishang saw the scene in the distance before him, he understood that Pure had used Spare of Flames skill. However she got such a skill, it was meant to sacrifice herself in the hopes of her race continuing living on and for the shoulders of a certain individual to be weighting the whatever 'imminent disaster' that has been placed upon his path would be. In other words, to help herself and her apprentice, while also to fuck Yun Beishang up.

Flames the size of a 20 meters long and 5 meters thick snake, boa, serpent; whatever they could be called, danced all around the Carmesí Vermilion Bird's body after Sparse of Flames was activated. They seemed to be numerous in the sense that they could reach all over the immense desert that it had inhabited for so long all this time before, but then, a strange 'something' went out from the initially combusted body of Pure. It was a teardrop of darkest crimson color, and as it made its way out of Pure's Sparse of Flames skill and headed Yun Beishang's way, he instantly recognized it at the drop of blood that came out from its eyes before.

It moved almost to the same speed as the Carmesí Vermilion Bird used before to separate from Yun Beishang and the rest, and in 2 seconds, it reached him before slapping itself against his forehead and sending him flying away hundreds of meters.

'Oh, fuck you.' From teleportation issues, to being slapped by a this fucking disgusting crap. What a life. But Yun Beishang didn't even intend to avoid it in the firs time as, this drop of blood gave him a sensation that he himself had felt before and that was; naturally the most rewarding. One was when Rosey gave him her most precious Fallen Teary Rose Petal; another was when he obtained the vestige of the Azure Dragon. Naturally, this one drop of blood should be the same, and like before, he obtained it only after the Sacred Beast Protector in question had given up on its Essence and used it to empower and enhance an inheritor.

Sure enough, a system prompt came out into his view as soon as he landed on the floor after the initial slap on his forehead sent him the fuck away from his previous position.

Suddenly, at the same moment that the system notification was fully taken in by Yun Beishang's mind, an enormous sound of an explosion going off sounded, at the same time, an even enormous body of a colossal bird whose wings flapped; appeared up into the sky. It was still not day, and there wasn't much light except for the natural brightness of the desert's ground, yet Yun Beishang and everyone else who was remotely near the desert could see that a 'second sun' had just emerged and that that very same second sun was also the reason why a huge shadow descended upon almost the entire, complete desert!

In an explosion of boundless wind from the very center of that humongous, flaming bird high up in the sky; the flames finally dissipated from the Carmesí Vermilion Bird's body. Revealing a plethora of majestic carmesí feathers and ordinary but intense red feathers; Pure's image astounded Yun Beishang as he gazed at her HP. Before, when he used his transformed shot against her, he only lowered her HP to [499,666,334/500,000,000]. But as time passed, her HP was recuperated to [499,741,334/500,000,000] after half a minute went by.

However, now; Pure's bar HP was consisting of only a remaining sad amount of [1,000,369/500,000,000].

Yun Beishang's eyes looked directly at Pure up above, he stood up slowly with his right hand still holding Void Jumping Star who has come to his aid at the simple mention of his words calling out to it. Once he regained his standing point, he gazed directly at the sky, it was so to the point that he wasn't even able to see Pure's wings that were as gigantic as the entire lands of this desert. He then exhaled slowly and noiselessly, before brandishing his right hand once to his right leg.

Not even lifting up his left arm, he called out at the same time that Pure's eyes locked onto him once again and her head abruptly turned in his direction, as if the spearhead prepared to be thrust into the enemy's body to end it.

"Vicissitudes of Life!"

Pure suddenly moved to dive fearfully fast and dangerously at Yun Beishang, her dive consisted of her beautiful and incredible feathered body plummeting down straight at where he stood with her peak leading the motion. And as Yun Beishang saw this, he could do what? Not run, definitely not parry as this was simply her moving with her own body and not an attack per se, much less a skill or a feature. This highly special and unique BOSS could only be dealt with in this way thanks to Cindy. Should players have had met this BOSS on their own, hostility would've been the first and last thing that they would ever see from her before all dying at once.

Or so deduced Yun Beishang as his Essential bow appeared in his left hand in a manner that water would flow though tubes of glass, before solidifying into the auspicious but all-pressuring and mighty body of a bow and its bowstring. His eyes turning extremely fierce but also extremely calm, he once again entered into his 'transformed' state and saw the everything around him; everything, except Pure!

She still descended towards him from up above, but her speed was now doable and the sight of her amazing and mythical body flying through the air as if it was her last time was clearly seen by the quickly aiming Yun Beishang. Sound was no longer existent as he began to see colorless globes all around Pure while she descended onto him, her peak began to turn carmesí while her eyes burned with crazed fervor, almost as if they were meant to be burnt off right in the next instant.

"Sorrow..." Yun Beishang muttered, soon after his voice went out, Pure arrived 10 meters right before him. But her body suddenly came to a total halt as her eyes were now like before, almost lifeless and definitely washed by time. He gazed at her, his eyebrows half-furrowing only once; Pure gazed at him, words flowing out of her eyes into his mind.

"And remember, do not put your value depending on time." Such were her last words before he instinctively let out his Essential arrow in his right hand with his eyes wide open. Void Jumping Star instantly made its way into Pure's brain above its peak before slowly traveling through her entire body, her gigantic self made it a show for him as he gazed her body torn apart from wherever the arrow went by. Amidst its journey, Void Jumping Star divided into another two arrows as it then became a regular and ordinary formation with the three of them bursting apart the body of the last Carmesí Vermilion Bird.

At the same time, wherever the three arrows went through, orange, dark, light and blue smoke and colors of destruction emerged from them acting as contrails that were left behind by their simple passing. Slowly, they arrived at the end of the other extreme of her body, where only her single tail remained. To the sides and on the base of her skin, the ruptured flesh, skin, feathers and bones of 4 other different spots close to the remaining one-tail standing were visible; aching the hearts of any animal-loving person who couldn't bear to imagine what having even one of its tails cleaved off their body would mean to such a mythical being.  Luckily it was a game, or this might as well turn into a scandal of sorts.

Then... then time flew, and ordinariness came back to Yun Beishang and the now slightly colorful body of Pure, the last of all of the old Carmesí lineage, branch; of the Vermilion Bird Race.

As Yun Beishang was seeing the body of the Carmesí Vermilion Bird fall apart completely by the few colors created by the simple passing of his arrows, her body flailing backwards with her enormous wings disintegrating at the speed that not even Yun Beishang would be able to reach and as her last tail burned to the last; the two pets of Zyv and Cindy exclaimed. Though Little Wolfy was feeling some kind of melancholic wash over her, Yun Huo instead felt incredibly excited at suddenly having two large and beautiful tails grow from her derriere as feathers of a striking bright red covered her entire body that now grew up to the height of Cindy's knees; before, however, turning saddened and forlorn when catching sight of Pure's body and last of her being disintegrating at once. Nothing was able to stop it, and there was no way to even want to move to advert it even if Yun Beishang wanted unless he used Rosey's Destroyer - Bloodline and his newest Corporeal Ignition.

Pure's last words echoed inside Yun Beishang's memories, and the gaze of heaviness befell upon his being, he felt that the existence of the other Sub-Divisional Sacred Beast Protectors were not just a nuisance and dangerous for Main Kingdom itself, but also a sense of anxiousness, as if leaving them alive for any more time than needed was going to be the result of a sudden but catastrophic oneshot massacre.

Beautiful colors of blue, orange, dark and light descended upon them as the terrifying flames of the Sparse of Flames kept on incandescently burn at full motor all around the desert they have been for such a short time but had created such an unavoidable event.

Still in the distance, Cindy, Zyv and their pets quickly made their way towards Yun Beishang whose face was impossible to read. He didn't put any though into the matter and emotionlessly took out the Carmesí Key from his White Space and muttered softly under his breath where, he barely could even hear himself. "Eat."

Right after, Yun Beishang felt his head thump loudly and roundly as if he suddenly had the worst of migraines, but it was obviously not the case. And it wasn't like anything he had suffered under the name of Evil Saint or Evil Immortal class, this was just a type of ceremonial 'effect' on his body, which even then, shouldn't be present inside the- a videogame.

"AAARGGH..." Yun Beishang tried to resist even moving, but his head instinctively twisted to his right and before long, his extended grunt came out. At the same time, a system prompt finalized the end of such a feeling but it only really stopped quite a few seconds after it popped up in front of his tightly closed eyes and veiny forehead; still uncaring of the system for the current sensation of being nonsensically hurt.

"Aagh, aaaah..." Yun Beishang heaved out large breaths of air in response, his thoughts seemingly chaotically moving about all around him as he sent his beautiful message in hopes Pure heard it, if it was possible even. 'Fuck you, you did it on fucking purpose. I'll steal Yun Huo from Cindy myself!'

"Hmph." An annoyed harrumph brained out his head as Yun Beishang tumbled even harsher, her real last words echoing inside the every fiber of his being, totally ignoring his teasing and provocative words. "Go, new God. Mayhaps this is to be the advantage of the Journeyer, even though you're a failure of a candidate, you can manage to build yourself up to the Evil God path that you've been sent to... oh, I see."

And Pure, for the last time, said nothing more. When she was still talking, however, Yun Beishang felt a strange feeling on both inside his mind where his White Space resided and inside his heart where his blood no longer was shrunk nor blackened. With a strange gaze, Yun Beishang heard Pure for the last as he felt that as being only halfway through the quest to advance into the Evil God class, he could do it before even the first expansion of Rising Essence came to be. By then, he would surely meet Katia and she would have to speak more, no longer hiding. Or else, her body would have to do the pre-talking then.

"Haah, catch me." Said an annoyed Yun Beishang, whose body was finally swiftly descending onto the ground; two pairs of soft, little and delicate hands took each side of his body as they felt out his muscles before letting him slowly fall onto the ground after looking at each other in a knowing manner. The two young girls have seemingly made out a plan to conquer this evil being of the world.

As for the evil being of the world, he wasn't tired, not mentally nor physically; nor so even virtually physically for that matter. He just felt overwhelmed, things suddenly heated up, why not just relax and let time work its magic and then proceed to the rest of the still remaining Sub-Divisions?

'Oh, hell no. I can't afford to wait anymore.' Though Yun Beishang, who then lifted both his hands to caress the left and right cheeks of Cindy and Zyv, only to realize that his hands were still 'transformed'. Shocked, he jolted back his hands but the two girls knowingly smiled and picked his wrists up to allow him to touch their faces again. A warm smile coming from a shy Cindy, while a soothing little, thin smile coming from the rosy-pale lips of Zyv as her blue-sky eyes glowed white beautifully.

In the middle of such beauty, Yun Beishang though to himself, 'She... said something about... 'Executor'? Is that the transformation... or is it more like the improved arrows?'

Haaah...

The only response that Yun Beishang came up to his own muddled thoughts was to simply enjoy the skin of two little beauties that were wholeheartedly willing to be by his side; and to sigh it out.

Rising Essence, Carmesí Vermilion Sub-Division. A few hours after the even more shocking news of yet another Myriad Beasts Division Sacred Beast Protector being slayed, and by the same person at that.

 

After the initial shock from the notice of yet another Sacred Beast Protector being killed went out by the system and as smart people pointed out the sudden gain of levels from part of Zyv and Little Phoenix Maiden, players coming from the fan clubs of both goddesses became awestruck, and as fate had it, the fight in the Main City stopped. But NPC troops still remained on guard.

However, at some point in the clear day, an impossibly fast, unstoppable and omnipresent blurry figure passed through the far away distance right into the uttermost center of the Main City. Leaving corpses of innumerable NPC troops on guard sprawled across the City like mistakenly stepped on ants on a road. As the NPCs moved to intercept whatever godly being just came into the City, they saw that everything excepting the path from where that being came from, was completely intact. Right after, they found their Loyal City Protector Team who had been the ace of the Main City to fend off most strategies of the poorly organized 'Journeyers' over and over again; completely wiped out with their corpses laying in front of the short, fortress-like building.

And once those NPC troops went inside the building that was left vacant after the killing and escaping of the city lord's family; they saw nothing, only some of the walls remained standing while all of the flooring and most of the ceiling was... simply gone!

Moreover, as soon quite some NPC troops went in, it collapsed and quickly ended the lives of thousands of NPCs as well as some high-end army officials.

To make matters worst? All players suddenly evacuated, the NPC troops only realized of this once they concluded the matter of the 'robbery' of everything from within the city lord's 'house'. As for why? Well... there's only one good way to explain it.

*PING* Global System Announcement: The Main City of the Carmesí Vermilion Bird Sub-Division has been engulfed by the pure scorching flames of an unknown, powerful being and the entire City has completely disappeared. The Royal family of the Myriad Beasts Division is now in great endangerment and is now requesting aid from other 'Journeyers' through the dispatch and selling of resources towards the rest of the Sub-Divisions in the Myriad Beasts Division to support the raise in the army of the Protector Army of the Bright Sunset Region and to take down the inevitable evil hailing from their lands.
