A Painfully Joyous Meal

 

 

 

"Hahh, what does the old thing wants? Bothering me right now..." On Yun Beishang's heart-message, the black lotus on the other side lightly became speechless, and only once she composed herself did she continue. "We've already received a written apology from him, stating that such stupidity will be well punished to the man guilty of making the faces of both The Order and the Sharpened Vanguard Hall 'pay'."

"But now, they've send a message again, no longer just him sending us a message in-game but the Tron Clan itself. The message is: 'Hoping that the master of the Peaceful Rain Villa household to forgive and forget about this matter, and that their forces on the outside of the human territory would no longer aid neither side and instead, would take their troops and whatnot to the other parts of New Earth to take the advantage of this sudden war and to explore the rest of what they could.'. Leader, I believe that this is already happening, ears on the Northern side of the human territory are already also on the move to different locations and reallocation of resources."

"Mmnh... okay, then. Just tell them that I want to see the bodies on the news, I'm sure he won't misinterpret me." After saying that, without caring what the other side would feel and think, Yun Beishang once again lowered his head as he took into his mouth a scoop of light brown colored soup with white cream around.

Ever since the Association vs Association segment ended, Yun Beishang welcomed the girls from below the stairs with almost around that of 200 people, simply waiting for them to come down in the wide hall below the stairs. Itnia, Estel, Zi Fei ran up to meet their loved ones as fast as they could, so did the other maids and little maids around as well, of course.

Diana and Natalia, as well as Sammy, Yao Yao and even Miriam were also shocked to see a few aunties and uncles from their Tarn Clan and even a few perfectly disguised pair of figures that trembled at the sight of them, her father and some Black Lotus childhood friends and rivals, even Elder Fosk Yinlan and her husband were present in disguise as well as Miriam's parents and grandparents were similarly excited to see her after having seen her showoff like the goddess in their hearts on the large TV screen before billions of people; all respectively, of course.

With a flurry of steps as more than 50 people came down from the 'main' residential area, as well as each owner of a pair having a smile so big and shy at seeing every single person's family seemingly waiting for their triumphant championship, a quick reunion of families went on and on for about 20 minutes before Natalia and Yun Beishang along with Miriam and Diana as well as the families from the Tarn and Miriam's took everyone's attention by mentioning the already set tables of the superficial lake of the Peaceful Rain Villa having been surrounded by tables, chairs, decorations and most important of all, FOOD.

In just 10 minutes short, every family was set to a designated table which, to the surprise of each of them, were all seated with other families and in-between, maids, that they were at least not alienated with. In such a way, all the many different families were seated on a table that they were not comfortable and whose taste of food was actually on point.

The food, however, wasn't like anything they've seen before, as not only Yun Beishang's but also Ellie's culinary skills were definitely out of this world. The class, money spent and more than anything; technique used to cook and prepare these dishes were naturally something that no ordinary family could never know of in their lifetimes. Which was as such for all the maids' families of Yun Beishang's household.

And, naturally, as the master of the household and by being dragged and being temptingly persuaded to cooperate; Yun Beishang went to all of the tables to give an even more official greetings and formal introduction as what he is, Yun Beishang the Master of the Peaceful Rain Villa's household.

With this gesture, Yun Beishang now finally gave each of these terrified and anxious families for their own future a light hope, a now slowly increasing sensation of belonging and a deep sense of honesty from him, and his household itself. Natalia and Diana were a pair of young women whose charm would make any living being want to be noticed by them but to remain incredulously respectful of.

Natalia herself was really gentle, and as she moved along the poker-faced Yun Beishang, the every pair of eyes that landed on the four of them, besides the obviously loving ones from the maids, became coherent and even a little understanding. With each time Natalia said a word to do the 'tough work' for Yun Beishang, it put at ease the families that didn't know what to expect from such careless master of a household one more level of ease; each.

Her ponytail was alluring itself, and in the most peaceful and pure of ways at that. Besides that, her frail-looking and delicate body gave off instead, a strong presence like it was coming from a person who knew how to protect themselves. A bit of security was etched into everyone's selves as they saw such a person become absurdly reliant and cherishing of the image of the careless master that Yun Beishang misled them to believe he was.

Diana, on the other hand, looked professional and with the knowledge of body building at the peak of New Earth. Though she was as slender and with fair white skin with coppery and goldish touch to it, her demeanor was much more apparent on her as she radiated boundless confidence, professionalism and presence. Which gave the families seated around the tables that they went to, a feeling of great leadership.

Yona was tagging along every now and then, as she was more than joyous of seeing all of this occur even as she was one of the very few who had no family to attend this. On the other hand, dragging the disguised Fosk Yinlan and Fosk Deter around along with her cherished Yao Yao, and already in-the-known of who the two disguised elders were; Miriam brought Yao Yao to meet her parents and grandparents as the elders of both families greeted each other.

Of course, Miriam's 4 grandparents didn't know, at first, that the people they were meeting were actually 1 or 2 generations above them, and that they could even be called parents or grandparents as well by themselves. It wasn't until Yao Yao and Miriam subtly let it be known to them that they understood this fact, and very well reacted slightly embarrassed by it. After all, though their child of the family was an incredible genius tat went to the previously known as the best academy in the world, they also suffered setbacks after she almost finished half of her studies in there, which made them even poorer than they were at that time.

In any case, after just some bits of information being exchanged as well as the Fosk duo being increasingly well-mannered towards the family of Miriam, they all got better and better with mingling with one another. They were so damn fated companions of life that Miriam's family constantly reiterated or kept on asking whether or not Yao Yao was their descendant and how similar she was to them for her to not be so.

And time and time again, Yao Yao lowered her face to these words, but instead of hurting or bothering her, she was instead blushing slightly each time she lowered her head. And each time that happened, the blushing would extend more and more, until even the pink turned a furious red, to the point that it made Miriam's family finally begin to stop talking of such matter; half-way understanding.

Nevertheless, as Miriam was overjoyed at the chemistry between families and was silently giving Yao Yao tugs at her beautiful light lime completely sleeveless shirt-dress and giving her right hand a few tight grips every now and then; a pensive Yao Yao had little thoughts inside her little head. Such as; 'wouldn't it be great to be their daughter?' or even 'I wouldn't mind having such a family' for whenever the question of whether she was from the Fosks' lineage or the mention of her similarities to such.

On the other hand, though Miriam was nowhere to be seen by the families that Yun Beishang's group went to, the sight of that humble and internally and innately soft and joyous young woman made everyone feel as if Yun Beishang was truly not a bad character. After all, for families of New Earth that were from low to middle class, it was really easy to know of one's heart as time passed, it was even more so for those with early children that they would worry to ponder whether a color could ruin their life or make it the best for their children.

In one way or another, even as subtle as Yun Beishang's eyes turning no longer inhumanely cold or indifferent and instead taking a gentle, soft or even warm glint when he spoke to their daughters was also a strong point that opened the families' mothers, fathers, uncles, aunties, grandparents and siblings and cousins' eyes in a much better light than ever before.

...Naturally, after taking so much time to meet all of these seemingly 'unimportant' people; Yun Beishang, instead of feeling like it was a total waste of time and even irksome, he only thought of so by a little instead. At the same time though, he at least also thought that having such views of each of the maids he's had was... welcoming.

Somehow... Yun Beishang turned slowly different; images from his last 'weird happenings' such as violating part of Xiao Ruo's face with his mouth and then the insides of her mouth, Kara's confessions early on in the day and Ellie's bedding all the way back to the times he was a miserable emaciated ugly human being that was yet allowed to touch all he wanted a pair of wonderful women in the entire universe.

His heart, having long gone separated from its usual and ugly, stinking blackness; somehow turned even brighter. Not in a red-colored glow of blood coursing his veins even more healthily, nor from the same peculiar violet light he has the chance to see. But, instead, its brightness was colorless, imperceptible... but also unmistakably; as if it was himself and only himself who could see and feel it, as well as sense and smell it.

Slowly... Yun Beishang's idea of having his children birthed to a good life without worries... changed to that of taking care of the entire lives of his children. If they wanted to battle a 20 meters tall monster outside the perimeters of the human territory, whether that is at less than 1 years of age or at 20, he would let them; but still show and guide them before it happens. Obviously, though, he wouldn't just let that happen as he would be there to protect them even if that was bad for them, for as he viewed himself more than capable of being patient, but also strict, so that his children wouldn't be unnecessarily chaotic and would learn their own path in their own way.

Naturally, as such thoughts, such elementary and most feeble thoughts entered his head as Yun Beishang walked towards the Dining Room inside the main building of the Peaceful Rain Villa once he was done with the tour around it to meet his families; another different type of thought entered his mind as well.

'Unlike my Father... and my Mother; I will NEVER leave alone my children for a single moment, and I will protect them from all pain that is not welcome, keep away the sadness that shouldn't be, warm the cold that could grow in their hearts; and take blame for the ugliness of the world we are birthed to.'

Back to the Peaceful Rain Villa's Dining Room.

 

At first, when Xiao Ruo, Cyn, a couple maids and Sash sat together on the extremely large dining table; Xiao Ruo was the first one to go her seat like a lightning passing by. If there was a family in which she could call a mother, that would be Cyn, and as for a sister, that one would also be Cyn.

However, that was in the past, as of now, not only Cyn but also Natalia could be called her mom at this point, their Little Xiao Ruo was too doted upon after all! However, as for sister, Xiao Ruo could be said to have so many of them. With the expanding 'maid department' of Yun Beishang-cough, no, of the Peaceful Rain Villa household... okay; of Yun Beishang. More than even quintuple was the amount of maids that he now had. Naturally, Xiao Ruo had many, many more sister than ever before.

And now, just as she got to her seat and was about to sit on it, she looked up to see where Cyn was. Once she saw her dearest Eldest Sister Cyn, Xiao Ruo waited for her and then, she only sat on her own seat as Cyn was doing so at the same time and right to her left. Surprisingly, Xiao Ruo had her chair be temporarily placed at the other extreme from where Yun Beishang's other extreme of the table was seated at.

When she, everyone's cherished Little Xiao Ruo took a look at her bowl, she became dumbstruck and astounded at once!

What she saw, was a ton of little series of pellets-like looking little snacks. Each of them had a dull and discolored brown wooden color, but they had a size so diminute that they couldn't even be compared to Xiao Ruo's little finger. Instantly after, she lifted her tiny head to look up in front, in which she saw a smiling Yun Beishang look at her with a warmth that threatened to bring her out of this plane.

Sniff.

After sniffing once, Xiao Ruo had her eyes form a glint of thanks so deep that Yun Beishang got struck in the heart so profoundly he could barely breathe for the next 2 seconds; afterwards, Xiao Ruo picked up one wooden pellet-like looking tiny snack and placed it in front of her little face. Without wasting more than 1 second, she introduced it into her mouth in a sweep motion and munched a little before swallowing down her small throat.

Gul-gulp... sniff.

Right after, as she got the aftertaste of the tiny snack and as she felt that sensation of it going down her throat without difficulty even as she tightened her throat and restrained that lump that was called 'sob' very harshly. Xiao Ruo then arched her head back slightly, and made a soundless scream for a moment before lowering her back to normality once again and looked at Yun Beishang.

Right then, his Little Ruo's eyes were more than watery and moistened, there was red all over them as her nose turned pinky already. Such a sight, Yun Beishang became stuck in a limbo as he didn't know what to do; meanwhile though, Cyn was now finally able to stop looking down at the bowl while being entirely lost as she then turned her head to Yun Beishang.

It was right at that moment that Sash and the few maids around took notice of this abnormality, that Yun Beishang's Little Ruo also began to wolf down the tiny wooden pellet-like looking snacks clearly with abandon.

"...anch...munch, munch!!" It was like this that a sobbing Xiao Ruo slowly calmed down as her entire mouth bloated and her tiny self constantly gazed between her Master and her Motherly Elder Sister.

"..." To the side, Cyn couldn't help but tear up as well as she gazed at Xiao Ruo's letting go of herself and then coming to recompose herself on her own with those painful memories being hugged by her present self, allowing the past her to get the warm she never had and the care that she never imagined could exist.

"..." Seeing Cyn's warm smile as she turned her head and never left his face, infatuated and lost in her own feelings towards him, Yun Beishang was enchanted as he slowly regained a stable breathing through his tumultuous lungs. He also felt as if he was naturally being engulfed in a warmth that came from painful, unthinkable and hopeless times.

"MMMM...MUNCH! Look, munch Mo-Eldest Sister Cyn, ah-munch! Wuu... it's so much, and... wuu-munch-it tastes different... It tastes different! Wuu-munch... it's not the same, no the same wuuu... munch, munch, munch, munch... wuuu... wuu... sniff-sniff... I'm so glad... to have you al, wuu, sniff tha-tha-tha-tha...thank you, wuuu..."

Snivelling words came out from a Xiao Ruo who was shedding tiniest tears uncontrollably, but her eyes looked clear and magnified while she constantly looked up and down from her bowl to Yun Beishang's face to the rest of the people around her, even going as far as to turn her head to each side where a table outside at the superficially made pool-lake.

Shriek... ... ... ...thud-rustle~~...

With no more capability of just seeing this as a Xiao Ruo who was feeling ashamed of her own actions while still crying, Yun Beishang went up from his seat to Xiao Ruo's, and at the same time as Cyn thought the same thing, hugged Xiao Ruo while she remained seated.

"..." Shocked, her eyes opened wildly and remained as such for a while, before her eyes finally closened awfully heartrendingly as she then began to eat and this time, with a spoon.

Rustle~...

Yun Beishang barely felt a squirming sensation on his lower back when the next instant, a soft mound appeared on the left of his chest as another arm went to his front and embraced his right shoulder from the left of where his body was hugging Xiao Ruo. As she looked at a Cyn with her eyes reddened and as Xiao Ruo now shed her rightfully tears no longer being tiny; he saw a loving and hurting Cyn look at him as she reclined her head onto his collarbone, their eyes exchanging so much of nothing that the atmosphere inside the Peaceful Rain Villa's Dining Room turned to the utter warmest.

"...munch, MUNCH... yummy, ah... I want this as cereal everyday, can I~?... sniff, wuu..."
