After returning, Cirrus started to explore the dungeon again, primarily just to fight the next Monster Rex and level up.

Phew! That should be the last…”

Cirrus has been exploring the dungeon with even more vigor since his overwhelming amount in his status makes him essentially a high-level 4. He has been making his way down to the 25th floor.

“There we go.” Cirrus finishes up the last of his map on the 24th floor. “Nox, how are things on your end?”

‘Well, this should be the last section before we can head to the 25th floor tomorrow.’

With Nox, his speed has sped up drastically, allowing him to cover more of the dungeon with Nox being an extra pair of eyes speeding up his progress.

“Come (Nox) let's head back home.”

Cirrus’s magic circle appeared before him, and Nox appeared from it and landed on his antlers.

‘This is pretty useful! Saves me time in flying towards you.’

“And a good way to bring in back up.”

As Cirrus begins to walk back, he puts his map into his shadow.

‘Are you gonna be staying in Rivira?’

“Yeah, but since I have a fucking bounty now, I can’t actually stay in there.”

‘Another day in the wilderness, huh?’

“Yeah… I kinda miss the desert wind now… and how warm it is.”

Running through the dungeon back to Rivira, cutting down the monsters, and using his shadow to store the magic stones as he runs.

Using his invisibility cloak, Cirrus easily went past the passageway every adventure goes through in Rivira.

Quickly running outside of the city’s borders and off to the mass of crystals on the south side of the floor where Cirrus has been working on something.

“Ah!! It's nice to rest here!” Nox said as she was on a bed made of several monster pelts Cirrus got from monsters.

“Can you inform Fels we will be staying here for the night and going to go to the 25th and below floors to fight the Monster Rex?”

“Will do! Are you going to be working on expanding?”

“Yes, I'll get dinner ready when night comes.”

Cirrus had slowly carved out a massive crystal into a little home for him to stay in since, with an activated bounty, several people want a big payday. It also helps serve as a base when doing quests and the like.

“So we're going to be staying here for about another day or two.”

“I see. We’ll be safe. Word got out that you’re in the dungeon.”

“What? how!”

“It would seem that a few adventures saw you on the 20th floor. They quickly climbed up and informed several people.”

“Well, we will keep our eyes open for anything.”

“I hope to see you as soon as possible.”

The crystal dimmed, and Nox went down to find Cirrus cooking.

“Hey, Fels said some bounty hunters are coming down here?”

“Huh? Really? Did someone see us?”

“Apparently so.”

Haaa… such a pain.”

The next day on the 24th floor, standing before an entranceway to the 25th floor, Cirrus looks down with Nox on his shoulder.

“So… you ready Nox?”

‘Ready as you are! I'll be sure to not get in your way!’

“Then let’s go down.”

With shield and spear in hand as he goes down.

When Cirrus reached the bottom, the smell of water filled the floor, as did the sound of crashing water.

Walking towards the sound, Cirrus found himself at a huge waterfall.

“Ooo… this is really amazing!” Cirrus said with a big smile.

‘Hm! Hm! It's quite a sight! I kinda just wanna sit and rest by its cool water! Even take a dip!’

As they say, those words from the water a school of grey fish with sharp overbites popped out.

“Seems unlikely.”

Without his armor, Cirrus spun his spear, slicing through the school like a blender.

‘Such a shame… do you think we will find the Monster Rex soon? The information said that the monster travels between this floor and the 27th floor through the water?’

“Maybe if we're lucky, for now (Exousía, Adorn: Lernaean).”

And so the human and spirit travel down what is known as Water City from the 25th to 27th floors. With a vast waterway that one could easily get attacked from and a series of passageways that go up and down, this is a dangerous place for reckless adventures.
