The girl walked with elegance and grace like that of a noble as she approached Ai and Cirrus.

“Kaguya-onee-sama!!” Ai said, running to her and hugging her cover in sweat.

“Ai-chan you are so sweaty! Did this boy and his foolish god do this to you?” she said.

“I am not one of Lord Susanoo’s children,” Cirrus said, getting up a bit sweating. “And aren’t you one of his? You wear the same attire?”

She made a smirk as she gets close to Cirrus standing a few feet away from him.

“We come from the same land, but he is not my god. My god is far more impressive.” She said. “But what of yours?”

“Mines doesn’t need people talking up how impressive they are compared to others, Ka-gu-ya.”

Susanoo whispered over to Kushida.

“I like this kid!”

“Yes, but unfortunately he’s face to face with the genius of the Gojouno Family.”

They returned their gaze to Cirrus and Kaguya, with Ai looking a bit worried.

“How old are you, boy? 5? 4 even?”

“I’m 8, but you look about the age of a 6 years old, the right number of feet I’m going to bury you in the ground.”

“Hah! I’m 10 years old! So I’m 2 years older than you! And the right number of meters to bury you! Kamu!! Get the wooden swords!!” she shouted. “I’m going to teach you some manners!!”

“And you need to learn some fucking humility!!”

“Wah! Wah! Wah!” Ai’s head was fuming at what to do as she tried to stop them from the fight, but Susanoo quickly took her from the situation and placed her on his lap.

“Now, now Ai-chan!” he said with a warm smile. “Let you Onee-chan have some fun, alright!”

“Lord Su… hm! Okay!” she said, pumping her fist in excitement.

‘Haaaa… Lord Susanoo is slowly corrupting her.’ Thought Kushida.

 

As Cirrus and Kaguya have wooden swords, they stand before each other with tension in the air as the Susanoo Familia watches from the sidelines.

“You ready boy,” Kaguya said, getting into a stance and placing her hand on her wooden sword.

“Ready when you are,” Cirrus said, holding his wooden sword the same way Lance did when they first fought.

“Ready….” Said Kamu, looking at both of them. “Go!” she quickly jumped back as the two made their moves.

“[Iai no Tachi: Flash]!!”

“Haaaaa!!!!!”

The two wooden swords clash, resulting in them both breaking from the force.

“Damn!” said Kaguya.

“Why so worried?” Cirrus said, coming in using the remains of the wooden swords to attack Kaguya like a dagger.

“!!”

Cirrus was not proficient in using daggers. The only time he did was for peeling potatoes and apples, even some very amateur wood carving. To Kaguya, he might as well be swinging a water noodle from how he’s swinging it and the danger it poses to her.

“Hup!!”

“!!”

When Cirrus went in for a stab, Kaguya took advantage and flipped him over. Cirrus, having already been flipped for a good amount of time, stopped his fall with his legs.

“Hoh~ your strong but!”

She quickly got the broken wooden sword from his hand and got it out of the ring. She let go of him and now the two remain in the ring with no weapons.

Kaguya quickly got into a fighting stance that reminded Cirrus of Karate, while Cirrus took up a more boxing stance since that was as far as he knew about CQC stances.

“…”

The two would slowly circle each other, looking right in their eyes, waiting for one of them to strike.

Cirrus knew full well he was not trained in CQC. Even Lance didn’t teach him, just Swordsmanship. Cirrus took this opportunity to observe and experienced some actual martial arts that weren’t with weapons and watched to see how they were done.

Being used as Ai’s practice dummy, Cirrus had more or less gained the groundwork for Judo, but Kaguya? She was like dessert after the appetizer that was Ai. Cirrus watched her movements and body language but, most importantly, her feet.

One of the few things Cirrus remembers of Japanese martial arts is its footwork, knowing some footwork is far better than knowing nothing in his eyes as it will improve his own swordsmanship and possibly various other skills in his repertoire of skills.

“You going to attack or what, boy?”

“You keep saying boy, but did I ever say my name?”

“I don’t need to learn it after I use your face as a rag to clean the wood of the ring!!”

She moved with such swiftness and, like a snap, using her right fist, she went in for a straight punch to the solar plexus… but:

Cirrus moved to the left and went in for a left hook, but Kaguya then used this to flip him over and quickly grabbed his hand to twist and bend his arm.

“Gah!”

“Give up boy! I have your left arm!”

“Guh! Fuck no!”

“Give up! I am impressed, boy! You made me use Karate, Judo, and even Aikido to take you down! Few can say they pushed me this far! So give it up!! There is no shame in losing to me!”

'Smug as a tomboy!! When the day comes, I will enjoy wiping the floor with you when I am not hiding my identity!!'

“Shame? No, I just want to beat your smug ass!! RAAAA!!!!”

Kaguya used more of her strength as she slowly tightened her hold.

“!!!”

Cirrus attempts to break free, trying not to show his actual strength, but Kaguya had no choice and--

Snap!

--Dislocated his shoulder. It was easy as breathing for her how fast she did it.

“Grr!!-- tsk!!!”

'The things I do to keep my identity!? I am really going to fucking bury her!!'

Cirrus pushes forward through the pain and breaks free, using a bit more of his actual strength.

Everyone was shocked Cirrus had the full resolve to dislocate his arm and then concede to Kaguya.

“Come on! Haa! I still have my good arm!” Cirrus said with a smile that was ear to ear.

Kaguya and the Susanoo Familia aside from Ai could see Cirrus was having some fun, but it ticked them off as odd as how fine he was with a dislocated arm. Kaguya also found it odd, but if he wanted to keep going, she was more than happy to keep using him as an outlet.

“What is your name, boy?” she said, getting into a karate stance.

“My name is Cirrus! And what is your Tomboy Princess?”

“Fufu, my name is Gojouno Kaguya! Vice-Captain of the Astraea Familia and a level 3 adventurer!!” she shouted with excitement in her voice as she and Cirrus charged at one another.
