After arriving home Ai told Cirrus what had happened as did Nox. He wanted to know more and decided to ask Shakti and Ardi of their accounts.

“It’s as Ai said Cirrus.” Said Shakti. “She crushed all the members and then after 2 exchanges Ai sent her flying through the church’s window. When we arrived at the scene she was gone, and Ai was knocked out.”

“Hmm…I see…sorry for asking again I simply wanted to know from a different persons perspective.”

“You should trust in what Ai said! You’re her love-Mmm!”

Ai quickly stopped her from talking.

“Stop! I don’t want more people to know!!”

Ardi slipped though Ai’s hands and the Ai chased after Ardi.

“…Your sister.” Said Cirrus looking at her.

“What? You’re not thinking of getting with her are you?”

“…” Cirrus slowly turns his head to her with offended face. “No." He said sternly. "I was going to say your sister is really kindhearted.”

“…You say it as it’s a bad thing?” Shakti responded back.

“It is, you know full well people with kind hearts are the ones that don’t last lon-“

Shakti slams her fists on the table.

“…I know, but she is 15 years old, the same age as you and a level 3. She can handle her own. And I will make sure she will keep her kind heart.”

Cirrus takes a deep breath and looks at Ardi and Ai playing around.

“I hope so…this world needs more people like her…sadly she was born at the wrong time.”

“I couldn’t agree more.”

The two sit in silence for a bit when Ardi came up to him holding a piece of wood.

“Hey! I heard from Ai that you’re a really good blacksmith!”

“Yeah?" He said looking at the wood in her hand. "Why? You want me to make you a weapon?”

“No it’s not for me it’s for Ryuu, you know the one in your Familia?”

“I know the one.”

“Well this wood is from her home forest! So I was hoping if you could make something?”

Cirrus grabs it and examines it.

“Its good wood but what do you wanna make it into?"

“I thought you would know?”

“You’re the one gifting it to her.”

“Ah….hmm can you make it like your weapon!”

“Uhh…I can make it into a hybrid weapon? Probably make so it can function as a wooden sword, and staff/pole weapon? Making it like my or Ai’s weapon is impossible with the branch as a base.”

“That’s fine! so how much will it cost?”

“Uhh….hmm…” he looks at Shakti and slightly smiles. “Tell you what, since you brought me the material I’ll say the price is that you listen to your sister and undergo more training.”

“EH!?” the sister said.

“I say it’s a good deal don’t you think Ai?”

“Sounds good to me, my weapon cost 800,000,000 Valis for my sword and I brought material myself!”

“Ardi accepts.” Said Shakti catching on to Cirrus’s plan.

“W-what!?” Ardi said.

“Well that’s settled I’ll get to-“

“Captain Shakti!! We received information from an adventure in Rivira that they found a storehouse!” said a Familia member.

“Is that so.” Cirrus said taking the information. “Ah…say could you tell our Familia’s we’ll be going to the 18^th floor?”

“You plan on going?” said Shakti surprised.

“Well this is new, and I’m the fastest in the city so I can easily get there and back fairly easy.”

“The fastest he went from the surface to the 18^th floor last time was 1 hour with his armor.” Said Ai.

“One hour! I can’t believe-“

“Very well, we will inform your Familia’s.” said Shakti. “Ardi we have training.”

“W-wait I never accepted the deal!!!”

Shakti then drags Ardi away.

“Well then let’s get going.”
