Walking back to the carriage from the royal court, Akio followed along.

"Akio I am sorry I had to keep you in the dark, but I needed you to remain as shocked as all the others." Cirrus said.

"Did Ai know? Mother and father?"

"Yes. I came up with this plan to make my own city, and this was a golden opportunity. It was as if luck was on my side."

"So what’s next?"

"Next, we will be busy gathering the resources. So you will be a lot of talking with other people, so I need you to go around and be the face of the family for a minute, you and Nox."

"Seems we will be working together, little fox."

"T-then will my family really be able to cut ties with the Gojounos!?"

"Yes, I thought that was obvious. So I need you on your best game. We will be busy for the coming months and even years."

"Y-yes Cir—no wait I should call you Lord Kyūjouno Hakukumo!" He said with a big bright smile.

"Heh~ you have your sister’s smile. How nice." Cirrus said, noticing the familial resemblance. "But you can call me Brother if you want?"

"I think I will hold off till you two are actually married."

Later back in the royal court, Susanoo and Amaterasu are alone in the dead of night.

"Susanoo, did you intentionally not inform me or any of the royal court about this!? I have never been so embarrassed and angry in my life!!" She glared at him intensely.

"Well after what happened with my Oceanic Samurai, I am not keen on letting my children be ripped from me."

"…That is understandable, but still, you brought a LEVEL 8!!! I-I don't even—Susanoo!! How strong is he really!! There is no way he is just a level 8!!" She got up from her throne and walked down towards Susanoo. "Tell me, Susanoo!" She stood before him just an inch or two smaller than Susanoo. "What else should I know? No more hiding secrets."

"Well…" He begins to rub his chin. "He is going to marry my child, Shirakusa Ai, a level 6 and even a goddess."

"A-a goddess?" She raises her eyebrows. "A mortal marrying a god!? Who!?"

"One of three famed virgin goddesses, the Goddess of the Hunt and Moon, Artemis."

"…You are surely joking, right? There is no way thee Artemis will marry a mortal!"

"I am sure you've seen the moon, correct?"

"!?" Her eyes widened greatly. "You can’t possibly say he was the one to crack it!!"

"Of course! His punishment was his marriage to her."

"That’s… Haa…" She begins to walk back to her throne. "Just what I expect from a Lunar Deity. They always have a screw loose in some form or fashion."

"Oh? What was Tsukuyomi’s? You two were also married at one point before her spoiled nature—"

Amaterasu turned back to him.

"Do not remind me and let me remind you that since she was kicked from the capital, she has been living with Takemikazuchi in his little shrine out near the Sanjouno Family estate."

"Ooh~," He said, grinning. "Are you thinking of—"

"No and shut up Susanoo. Me and her are over with."

"If what you say is true, then maybe there is a chance to rekindle the flame."

"Quit trying to get us back together." She said sternly.

"Always so stubborn. I had faith that if Artemis, of all goddesses, could change, maybe there was a chance for you. I know what she did leave a hole in—"

"Leave me be. Now."

Susanoo knew he shouldn’t push it any further.

"Very well. See ya later, Ammy. And if anyone of those snakes like Ebisu or even Bishamonten convinces you I want your throne. I am fine where I am with my children. "

Amaterasu sees Susanoo leaving the royal court.

"…Haa. What a long day."
